Soo fun finding a creator I like not only from/live in Philippines, but people visiting the freaking place I grew up! Definitely miss the Philippines and Cebu. This makes me want to visit Cebu again😍🙈

Buko pie is a very recent phenomenon among Cebu's range of delicacies as take-home gifts. It was originally only sold on the side of the main highway in the town of San Fernando, a town before Carcar City but now is also sold by street vendors in Cebu City. Stories have it that the first vendor who sold buko pie along the highway in San Fernando, Cebu was from Laguna. Today, you can see dozens of vendors lining up along the whole stretch of the main highway of San Fernando. They are now even sold in Carcar City too and other delicacy shops in south of Cebu and Cebu City.

That Zoo reminds me of this place my family used to go back in Minnesota called the FAWN-DOE-ROSA. Which is kinda what you described but in the midwestern USA.

I used to live in Manila that is near there. You should also next time try visiting Manila or Luzon! (Oh yeah I used to live there cuz I also moved to Canada a few months ago)

Cebu Safari is patterned after San Diego Zoo according to its owner, Michel Lhuillier. However, I can definitely say that it's very similar to Taipei Zoo both in size and the way the animals are kept. Both zoological parks have almost the same size with Cebu Safari (170 hectares) slightly larger than Taipei Zoo (165 hectares). Both have its own internal transport systems with Cebu Safari having trams while Taipei Zoo has a rail system to transport visitors to every corner of the park with stops at designated areas to pick-up or unload passengers. Both have very lush greenery. Soon, Cebu Safari will have a polar world where animals from cold regions will be on display like penguins, polar bears, snow foxes, etc.
