There needs to be so much more of this. Sane, honest, calm conversation. Find the places you can agree. Don't be afraid to disagree. Seems like common sense.
There is nothing Sane or honest about a corporate pig 🐽 like Ben shitiro. And Ana basically gave him a hand job on this one. Ana is on 🔥 fire on TYT live and was softer than willow on this greedy sneaky pig Ben.
Yup would be good to have a conversation . Just not sure about the adjectives.
The people that speak out loudly disproven false evidence by trump . Who go to his " rallies ".
One in a high school gymnasium. Trump invited guests paid money too.
Allegedly he is little short of liquid money. So he needs his small dollar donors to kick up like always.
The Koch political machine is going to fight trump hard. They recognize the need for better candidates. Not the GQANONP/dixiecrats/ trump party. The GOP has to make better choices.
The worst mistake we ever made was letting the republicans back in power in 1952 it's been downhill for America ever since.
@joeymchavarti The left may be literally loud, but idiots like Shapiro or that cry baby crack head Peterson are in no way sane or honest. There is no honesty in "pulling yourself by the bootstrap" BS. It's better to be pro labor than to be a corporate b!tch boy.

@joeymchavarti you right wing cucks never learn.
TYT. We need more of this type of content. Debate is one of Ana’s strongest attributes.
Then watch Daily wire. Tyt will never do things like this.
I would love to see far more of this as well. It's funny how polite everyone gets face to face xD
This is what political debates SHOULD be like. Also notice that even though Ana and Ben are on the complete opposite ends of the political spectrum they agreed on a lot, just disagreed essentially on how to get to where we need to be. Thats how it truly is but the tribal politics of today doesn't let us see that. Thank you Ana and Ben for putting on a class act debate that was throughly enjoyable to watch. We can only hope the debates coming in '24 can be half as good as this.
I know it's become cliched at this point but I like seeing two opposing ideologies coming together and debating in a constructive, civil way like this.
Wow, great conversation! We need much more of this kind of dialogue.
You will find it on Daily wire. Tyt ain't ever going to do this type of thing.

That was weird. It's been a while since we've had a calm, measured debate like that. I forgot how good that feels.
Your comment made me feel pretty emotional. Things have been bad for a while huh. 🥺

The consequences to throwing around baseless accusations like that are far greater than it seems you can comprehend. Plus, as they say, "every conservative accusation is a confession." I wonder what your internet history shows...
Honestly this guy’s voice makes my skin crawl Anna I don’t know how you did this
When 2 public figures can have a more civilized conversation than in the state of the union, you know we are in trouble.
Two awesome discussions between AK and BS and I was pleasantly surprised to see them discuss the issues in a British style way, debating and disagreeing yet remaining mutually respectful of each other personally. As is often the case it turns out that both the left and right share the same sense of what is wrong and even some aspects of how to fix it. This is good quality stuff. Well done.

@Andrea West Debates with the other side of the aisle, differ from outspoken opinions and outrage over several kinds of misbehavior and these are not a problem to me. @Andrea West the fact that she is there talking with Ben regardless of how she is on her show is the point. The fact that you think because she rants about things she’s believes in passionately makes her somehow weak says more about you.

I really love this conversation between Ana and Ben 👌🏽 We need more of this instead of being at each other’s throats.
Anna has been killing lately!❤
Ben was looking right at her at the beginning and slowly started to tuck his tail and bow his head.
Ana you know what you do is in the interest of everyone and it's morally right, you don't need congratulating.
But ill do it anyway, this is incredible and historic. This is where peace and diplomacy and prosperity starts. You guys deserve awards.
Don’t know what else to say but Ana was dropping truth bombs left and right. Little Benny was stumbling and mumbling every time he spoke.
Glad to see a civil debate where it's ok to disagree without losing your cool
I agree! I've put off watching this because I thought it was going to be off the chain loud, talking over each other arguing. I was pleasantly surprised. Truly enjoyed the watch.
I really loved this discussion. We need more people from different perspectives to come together and discuss in a civil manner like this, irrespective of personal biases. Just discuss and put your points without putting the other person down and trying to understand the other's point of view.
We need these Civil discussions.
But Ben keeps lying and changing the subject.
Ben is lying and constantly distracting from the point.
@@Willowdog08 I just watched the interview. That's just simply not true. This was a good, well needed civil discussion we are lacking.

the thing here is that he can't even argue with the points she's making. like he's put himself into a situation where the stuff she's saying are quite literally the objective better option for workers, so he finds himself nitpicking the smaller details instead of criticising what the ideas she presents, because he knows deep down that there is nothing wrong with what she states and for him to completely ignore the points would be childish and unrealistic. you can see the same thing in his debate with niel degrasse tyson.
At the end of the day he wants business owners to have dictatorial control over their business, because he owns a business. Whatever hoops he has to jump through to justify that he will.
this is the TYT I Like, civil engagement not roasting or bashing each other
Well, to his credit, Shapiro has always been very polite and well-behaved toward Ana.
It is typical TyT contrived and fact avoiding and trying to steer the dialogue and conclusion in one direction. Scandinavian benefits health care all massively different to US and in lots of countries they have both unions and minimum wages as workers can be vulnerable. This is moronic which is why Ben Shapiro likes the fact avoidance which is typical TyT reporting.
He talks so fast He would do really good speaking at an auction trying too sell some antiques
It's so painful listening to this man's voice
Ben is so insufferable.... His whole perspective on the boss vs worker relationship is egregious. Amazon is absolutely the ideal target for unionized labor. They go through thousands of workers every year, they'll run out of new hires at their current rate, just because of their insanely intense demands
My friends father got a union jobs and his pay and health care is much better now.
It's REALLY charitable the way you guys cut out all the times Shapiro asked to Smell Ana's feet.
Thirty Seven times!
Kudos to both of you! This is how it should be, civil, respectful conversation. Keep it up, start your own channel and I will subscribe.
Federal Government enforces a minimum wage that someone can actually exist on, and then let unions thrash out better conditions and wages. But its long overdue to pay takeout food worker at least $15 per hour.
A rare instance of a conservative and liberal engaging in a civil conversation
fake liberal lol
I love this woman you know her intelligence in the fact that she actually does her homework.
Did you see the number of times she agreed with that right wing idiot ben?
The debate is the intellectual equivalent of lift music goes on is banal and is just without merit.
It's also strange that Ben avoids Sedar and Pakman...
Sedar is a hack
These video conversations between Anna and Ben are probably the best examples of political discourse I have ever seen. As crazy as they both are in their own ways, it’s refreshing to see two people that disagree on so much have such a real and cordial conversation.
In what way is Ana crazy, and on what planet is this alleged craziness in any way comparable to the multiple documented examples of Shapiro's disconnection to reality?
Both? You can't tear down your opponent with ad hominems so you default to false equivalency?
Ana is definitely not crazy. Ben, however, absolutely is.
There is no employee too competent and valuable that they won't be immediately fired as a threat to the company for organizing labour. A good employee will never make enough revenue for the company to be worth the cost they would impose with collective bargaining.
Therefore you need laws
Hmm. Not sure what you want to say here?!
Collective bargaining in many European countries is a tried and tested process and unions/workers are the most long-term thinking stakeholders. Senior management is with the company how long? A few years, before they pull their golden parachute!?! Shareholders? Most shares are held for seconds, and very few longer than a few months.
Worker representation has a „calming“ effect on otherwise random and erratic management decisions. And in the end - as an economist, you look at two sides of the same coin: Supply-side and demand-side economic policies. In the extreme example of a supply-side economy, entrepreneurs have all the power, pay no taxes and all the burder is on the workers, who have not social net and relatively low wages/income.
That will invariably hurt the demand for whatever you produce, as you quite simply run out of consumers with liquidity to spare. (Let‘s call this „hyper capitalism“)
The other extreme is that worker power is extremely high, wages are far higher than what the productivity allows and they make investment & entrepreneurial spirit a rather futile proposition.
(Let‘s call this „communism“)
The truth is, that the best way to have solid demand from a broad share of the population and therefore worthwhile opportunities to innovate and provide goods as an entrepreneur, is when both sides are in a stable balance.
I would say that compared to the 70s & 80s, when the US had a strong middle class, the number of billionaires has exploded, the amount of money made through capital investment vs honest work and the number of people on food stamps or living. paycheck to paycheck, indicate that much more demand-side economics and policies are needed to unleash the countries full economic potential:
More consumers with more liquidity to spend.
Then you shouldn't have a business. If a business can't give their employees health care, contracts r not, they shouldn't have a. business. IF they can't balance their books, they shouldn't have a business. I'm not saying the government should force these businesses to close. That's exerting too much power. But laws should be made to PROTECT the worker. They are making the owner and execs unethical and immoral amounts of money while they are shorted higher wages.
While im fiscally conservative, I do think the best way to nurture a thriving economy is employee owned compensation plans within corporate America. Which would signnificantly increase tax revenues for the Gov since those funds are more evenly spread out and not set aside in tax loophole structures for a wealthy few.
If the Gov would offer significant tax incentives to offer a strong profit sharing or employee owned compensation plan, I think that is by far the best way to make a massive impact on the economy.
If a company generates $100M in revenue, instead of 50% of that going to the 10 people on the board, and the remaining 50% being split among 1000 employees, if 80% of those profits was split, people would be able to use that additional income to save for their kids college, remodel or payoff their house, buy a second vacation home, invest it in the financial markets, Venture Cap, buy a new car, etc. People would put that money back into the economy instead of those 10 board members hoarding it in offshore accounts & trusts...
Well....I'm impressed by their debate. No name calling, polite, listen to each other's arguments.....we need more debates like this because the elite, the 1%, want us fighting each other....instead of pointing the finger at them.
This is how ppl should talk to each other
Mad props to both of you. This intimate approach to a debate without a polar leaning audience
would not work with Crowder, clearly left no impact on Dore or Rubin, and would cause Peterson to

I’m not surprised by Ana Kasparian having the ability to engage with focus and without
trying to “own” her opponent. But I’m truly surprised by the way Shapiro engaged in this conversation.
Good job.
The goal should be intelligent discourse and not hateful/harmful rhetoric or disinformation.
Ana and Ben always seem to be the best at this.
@@bridge2space I agree. I've watched Ben for awhile now & just started watching Ana. Political opposites, but they have in a lot in common in their willingness to gracefully engage someone who disagrees with them. respectfully ... I love Ana... the real deal!!
He neglected to address the biggest difference between the Spanish collectively owned company and your typical American corporation. That difference is that the stakeholders in the spanish company also provide labor and thus aren't likely to impose the adverse working conditions or inadequate benefits workers in American companies deal with on themselves. When workers don't have a say in how a company operates, then profit and the interests of shareholders are typically prioritized over worker safety, pay, and other worker considerations. If u have an environment where the government doesn't protect workers' right to bargain and demand those things in exchange for their labor, you allow companies to exploit workers in whatever new creative ways they come up with to do it. Prime example, a company is currently trying to sue striking workers for losses it's suffering as a result of their strike. The losses aren't the fault of the workers. There'd be no strike if worker demands were met. Since they weren't, workers exercised their right to withhold their labor. Now the company is asking the judicial system to assist them in undermining these worker's right to strike and further exploit them by forcing them to subsidize profit.
Such a great point.
Unions are a must if you want to have better working conditions, paid holidays, paid sick leave,, job security and better wages. Very few business are benevolent, they see the workers as a cost, and how do you drive down costs to make move profit, you deny the workforce better pay better working conditions. You have a minimum wage pure and simply to stop businesses paying an absolute pittance.
Many extreme conservatives tend to be reasonable when talking or challenged by someone who is more reasonable. But they quickly return to their extreme rhetoric once back in front of the camera and speaking to their hard line audience. It feels like they are in a race to the bottom because that is where the clicks are. If they were to soften, then much of they're audience would leave them for someone even more extreme. Just my 2 cents.
Whats great about this is the tone and mutual respect. It’s a big step for both of them.
I don’t think that Ana has much respect for Ben. Ana just believes in a civilized debate.
Giving platform to nazis that say all muslims are terrorist, is called normalizing nazi beliefs not debating.
Ben doesn’t respect women because the Bible told him not to
REALLY like their ability to be able share their different points of view in a respectful and civil manner. Its refreshing!
Ana did a great job tearing down his arguments.

Ben, it doesn't cost a guy decades of his life, his back, his knees, his lungs, and sensation in his fingertips, to make phonecalls and tell district manager to solve a problem. If you can't admit ceo's overpay themselves, and are overvalued in America, you cannot have an honest discussion on the matter.
Well said.
Telling somebody to solve a problem vs actually coming up with effective solutions that mitigate the particular problem swiftly are two different things, ceo's don't pay themselves their pay is determined by the board of directors who act on behalf of the owners. So technically it's the Owner who decides the pay of the Ceo and the owner, based on the performance of the Ceo can pay them whatever he/she sees fit.
