And the consequences of your actions are being felt on a daily basis by most of the country. This will be the turning point where you will lose the country for another 20 years until the next group of simple minded children you have brainwashed are able to vote. I believe another point that gets overlooked here is that Jewish individuals were able to come to the U.S with an education or received a proper education once in the U.S. All the while African American individuals were systematically prevented from receiving a proper education for several generations.

And still as I said again when it came to the students question, Ben avoided it. Not for nothing but Jim Crow ended in 1965 that's roughly 60 years ago. I'm 43 my Dad was 10 when that ended. That means that there are people out there who's Dad's remember seeing a relative put in the back of a cop car and disappear.(and that's when it was legal to do it, I'm sure it didn't just stop then). That's not really that long ago in the grand scheme of things.

Without belittling anyone's trauma, or attempting to compare the two, its apples and oranges. Two entirely different horrendous traumas that two different groups of people. But I would guess that the survivors of the holocaust tended to be the more affluent, or at least those with some type of cultural or societal capital. In addition, the time periods are just beyond comparison. I mean people were born into slavery, lived, had kids who were born into it, grandkids that were born into it. Thats a kind of generational trauma that is beyond comparison to anything else in modern history. And all of that is before even getting to the reformation, Jim Crowe, civil rights and beyond. So for him to "say some people come out and are the most successful" is rediculous.

My wife grew up 10 miles down the road from Iowa State and I can tell you its very conservative with lots of bigoted people. The town of Ames, where Iowa State is located, is a little more blue. However, Trump has lots of supporters in rural Iowa and if you're not a white protestant, things can feel a little weird.

Starting from 7:48 - he says that (verbatim) wok-ism suggests ALL inequalities are attributable to ALL injustices, disparities, etc. This is how he defines the dilemma but this is a false premise. It isn't "ALL" - the actual argument is that the injustices and disparities are a contributing factor (some more than others) to the inequalities that people face. He basically ends up creating a strawman fallacy using this premise. Keep this in mind, because he keeps using this as his premise going forward.

This strawman fallacy he makes is what happens when you start with the (false dichotomy) premise of "ALL" - it's either all or nothing. Using logical fallacies are a sign that the arguments that are being made are bad arguments because the logic being used is flawed.

The guy in the audience framed his argument very well towards Shapiro! Once he acknowledged the atrocities that Jewish people endured the guy was right to spring the fact that his acknowledgement of it was the definition of Shapiro being "woke" and what it meant. In that moment he was able to connect Shapiro with everyone who had the true understanding of "Woke" The mistake Shapiro makes is not acknowledging that black people have endured a holocaust as well that goes back 400 years. It is as though Shapiro is suggesting that the subjugation and long term effect that black people have endured is insignificant compared to that which Jewish people suffer from. His ego, and the way that he fancies himself an intellectual, and monopolizes the conversation damages any influence that he could have. That high annoying squeaky ass voice of his doesn't help either.
