Like this the danger of one of the studs starting to slip or sinking in the ground when under load gets reduced by a lot. I'd make sure to keep the doors locked on the van when spending the night in the air on that thing. If they opened the unlocked doors and turned the switch off, you'd be screwed. I always take people's craziness into mind as a factor everywhere. Also, for someone camping in it long-term, having a rope ladder to fling over the side out of the window in case of equipment or power failure would definitely be helpful.

This thing is soooo cool! You can do a lot of things with this. You just got to remember to lock up the van when you go up, you don’t want anybody giving you a swift ride down!
@Raven-ox2nj actually in Minnesota it's illegal to shoot from a roadway, that is an established highway or state or county road. It's frowned upon by some, but perfectly legal to shoot from a vehicle if you are on a field or back off trails. If you could get this behemoth off the road, it's legal. There is a tree stand height max, but they do make hydraulic hunting blinds on trailers already, which are perfectly legal.
At a little over 10 foot you don’t have anything to worry about with power lines. Most are 15 feet at least. A semi or box trucks is I believe is legal at 13’8”. I worked for the highway department and we would have to raise lines sometimes for oversized load. My high top van was like 9 1/2 foot and I never had a issue. Very cool 4x4 van with no miles. I would take the box and lift out and fiberglass a piece of plywood over the hole and insulate the van and build a camper.
This is awesome, I've never seen anything like this before. For anyone wondering, he was camping in Lake Luzerne along River Road, it gets super popular in the summer with river tubing and has some pretty nice camp spots if you go further down the road.

@@shocktocker8282 Im doing better now. Still struggle some days but just trying to stay positive. I appreciate the words.
@@stylez561wpbrivierabeachda7 I appreciate that man. Life gets rough sometimes but as long as we do what we can to stay positive and live life the best we can I feel like thats what matters. And honestly ive always been a call of duty kind of person. I havent really been playing much lately but thats my go to when I do.
Damn it would be cool too see more of the van in future vids Mav
Mav really took "Mobile Research Studio" seriously with this rig 😆
You never cease to amaze, Mav. The big question is, are you buying it? Could be handy for deer hunting. As for that bird you saw, judging from the beak, I'd guess it's some type of woodpecker.
Kingfisher
@@solsabreful Yup - belted kingfisher.
came here to say its a kingfisher but then found this comment thread. Dude is fishing for sure - watching closely for em'
I was wondering that too could be a industrial tree stand my brother and my Dad would love this
Oh man thats the perfect setup for a travelling DJ
Your Mav brand is looking really good, love the new designs! Great vlog yet again Mav!! ❤
We can always count on Mav, (dreamy baby blue eyes himself) to come up with the coolest vehicles and spots to camp in. That was SICK! 🥰
I just want to squeeeze him… weird I know. Don’t at me.. gorgeous is gorgeous
Damn. It's not everyday you see simping comments on camping channels. Good for yall!
girls are crushing
Why can't I get girls crushing on my youtube channel? Maybe because my eyes are green not blue lol
This man found the cheat code for the zombie apocalypse
Maybe if a whole mountain of zombies came(u know what I mean) it can do some crazy stuff
This van should be featured in a zombie show.
Something tells me this is going to be the newest addition to your collection, Mav! 😊
Episode was EASILY one of the best in the last year.... fuck yes
For Photography this would be super awesome, honestly.
An inspiration to all! The 🐐of camping, no questions asked! 🤙
Ever heard of @outdoorboys ???

This is one of the craziest camper van videos I’ve seen ever, well done ❤ Also as a van lifer myself I was 100% sure you were going to forget some supplies down on ground level😂
These 4x4 conversion vans are very rare and desirable. This was a heck of a buy!
I can’t wait for you to do overnight snow camping I love your camping video keep up the good work
Cheese $ 2 eggs $ 7 butter $ 4 dinner with MAV priceless 😊
This thing is soooo cool! You can do a lot of things with this. You just got to remember to lock up the van when you go up, you don’t want anybody giving you a swift ride down!
This is one of the coolest vehicles Mav has tested so far and I am still halfway through the video...
You know every Deer Hunter in Minnesota is having some thoughts right now!
That was the first thing i thought of second is it 4 wheel drive to get into my hunting spot
deer & bear moose elk the sky is the limit!!!
@@toddbaumann3980 It's a street vehicle. Besides, it's illegal to shoot deer from a vehicle.
You were literally minutes from me! I live in Lake George NY. You picked an awesome time of year Mav.
You find the most fascinating, unique vehicles.
Tell your kids this is what drones looked like before they invented flying ✊

Just found you and been binge watching for three days. FYI, the bird by the river was a"Kingfisher". Love your videos.
Mav, Love the video! Hope you had an awesome time! Always remember to Smile, Share kindness, Spread your love! You are loved! Happy Holidays! -Maya
Maverick, you have amazed me by making and cooking home-made gnocchi in a surveillance van! Mind blown. 👍❤️
Yea, Mav is *Amazing*
This is a joke right 😂🤮
Imagine taking this to an open air car cinema. I´m stunned!
Classic, mav. Always finding himself in the strangest vehicles
My jaw just dropped when I saw this. Watching now.
Mav this is one of the best uploads ever man, the van is crazy I think you need that in your life🔥
Welcome to NY! You make your content look so easy but I know it's a lot of work. Thank you for doing what you do!
This guys channel is like the best cooking show ever
This is awesome, I've never seen anything like this before. For anyone wondering, he was camping in Lake Luzerne along River Road, it gets super popular in the summer with river tubing and has some pretty nice camp spots if you go further down the road.
I'm so happy
This was an phenomenal idea MAV! So glad you keep making awesome content. Keep it up and keep being genuine. Much love brotha!
You could throw down a Jacobs ladder like they have on container ships!
Quick stop at Stewart’s will get you right, you’re one of us now Mav.
You should come to PA! I'd love to see you experience the weather right now LOL! My tip would be NEVER trust the weather app! It may be 30 degrees and snowing in October and the next day it's 80 you never know!
Mavs face at 18:03 fading to black while lowering the view box just had me dying 😂😂
So cool! That is such a fun van! That bird is a kingfisher! They're very cool to watch hunt fish.
That's super cool hope you enjoyed!
Mav should buy it so he can keep making awesome content
😂 right
Imagine that thing outside the states they’ll say spy 100% lol
It would also make a great hunting blind! Bird = Belted Kingfisher.
Thanks for the fun!
This is kind of the perfect camping setup for those afraid of... THE KNOCK
Or bears…
My type of stoner van
After being on a scissor lift I can only imagine this thing sways back and forth real easy
yea but now you have to be afraid of… THE ROCK
