Nice one.
A Tennessee Tophat is always in style.
He looks like the guy off of jet pack joyride 😭
I used to squat my truck sometimes.....
By using it as a truck is supposed to be hauling 2.5 ton of gravel.
Saks Place 5000 pounds is a lot in the bed 😬
@@samhickman3642 it was an old '86 Chevy C20, not a problem, ....I wasn't driving a Ford. My dad's '76 C20 used to haul 5500, -6000 on a regular basis with no issues. Back when trucks were made to be trucks.
Saks Place *WOAH BUD* careful there. This channel is not a place for people who use their trucks for actual work.
Reminds me of when I filled an 88 c1500 with oak logs and limbs, took a step back and realized the factory rake was gone and it looked pretty good riding level. But if I permanently took out the rake using it to actually haul stuff would aim the headlights up in the sky.
I'm working on a lowering kit on my 2500 dodge, a few more pallets of shingles should do
Its really hard to listen to someone talk about dead trends from a guy with an 80's porno mustash.
And the 80s heavy metal hair
Smart man. I love when people see the same bullshit I see.
these comments im crying hahahahah
Which one do you have ?
Hey we can change how a truck looks not our face
Trends that need to die in 2020: Huge wheels with low profile tires. It's the truck equivalent of ricing out a Honda Civic
It's equivalent to putting a lift kit on a 78 Caprice with 24"..... donkey out the cars not your truck.
I am like you, give me small wheels with a ton of rubber and no negative 77mm of offset so there is no wheel under the truck.
Same with the California lean
Yeeeessss!!!!! Agreed!
That's custom offsets clientele tho.
They won't ever dog rubberband tires and huge chrome rims.... that's like 70% of there business. They are more driven towards selling wheels for show trucks and pavement princesses. That's why they said what they said about light bars, guys that actually use there trucks in the country and go offroading light bars are still relevant.
Big rim small tyre is a usless fad that needs to go away.
The tire companies love it. 😏
Giant cartoon looking wheels....na I'm old school give me the vintage chrome or aluminum wheels .....16s 17s 305 or 315 tires.....🧔👍
True
Not big on the lifted lowrider look either!!
I agree
Jr squats to make people mad. People squat lower to make Jr mad.
I thought that old white 1970's Ford with the halos looked pretty cool
Been following the build of that truck for years now. I agree. Difference is these guys build trend following SEMA trucks and that truck was built by a dude in his garage
Joe SixPack his channel is called the craig99 or thecraig099 or something like that
@TheCraig909
@@DylanC828 that's probably why I like it, cause I'm just a dude in my garage too....
@@joesixpack6323 same here man
Rims over 18 inches with skinny tires can’t go away fast enough.
Couldn't agree more!!!!!
Unless you're running your 20" rims with 40's 😏
@@BradChadley 40x15.50R22!
Need the 20s for my 40x15.50r20. Had the 40x13.50r17 and there was so much roll high speed turning was not fun.
35x12.50r15, timeless
Translation: "which purse matches your shoes in 2020, truck edition"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! true story
Lol there are a lot of these kind of dudes around where I’m from. A guy I work with actually has a really nice Cummins with a 6 inch lift and 40s on it but I don’t think he’s hauled anything with it and the only time it’s seen gravel was at my bbq lol.
True story
How about getting rid of the “locally hated” decals because good god...but that was never a trend, just stupid
bassallyear nobody doesn’t even know who those trucks are owned by nor do they care 😂
My other half put one on my 6.0.... Yeah people hate me when i fire it up at 4am....
I had one on mine 😂😂
Agreed..
Cris Lett I bet no one cares that much. Unless you live next to a nursing home or are a douche about it. I have 3 Harley riders that live on my private road and the only one that pisses me off reved his engine at 5 am. Straight up douche, and I told him.
Lifted trucks with huge rims and lil tires are the dumbest thing I've ever seen!!
g89 v dude same here
agree the point of huge tires are to deflate them and they have a ton of rubber to wrap rocks and things offroad and stop saying overland IT IS 4WHEELING always has been
People who put lift kits in 2 wheel drive trucks rode the short bus to school every morning
Yep what would be a really nice truck build ruined by giant rims and small tires
Dan The Man what’s wrong with a lift on 2wd
I prefer that small 2 to 3 inch level with some 17s or 18s stuffed with 33s or 35s. Simple and clean, delete all the chrome and paint match or blackout it out. I still respect all builds but I prefer that mild lifted offroad look over everything. Still useable and great for all around use.
jason kallu that literally completely describes my truck
@@antoniomejia7937 Great minds think alike. I plan on running 17 inch methods and 33 inch falkens on mine with a small Bilstein 5100 lift.
Always been a fan of the clean look
I just have a 4 inch lift with 20s and 33s on my 2011 Silverado and it looks great. I work out on the pipelines though so it’s a work truck and completely functional build. My Denali however is going to get a 16 inch on 30s and 42s. It’s all about appreciating every build man. Off-road or show.
Go bfg. Made in the USA
Squat squat squat should've never been born 🤣🤣🤣
I'm getting a light bar just cuz yall said that
Haha I got one and it’s awesome! Don’t let people say what is good or isn’t lol
Something I haven’t seen in a few years so thank god... but “Truck Nuts” we’re awful.
Hey i got those.. Really its nothing wrong with them. Honestly
i’m glad i have nothing they mentioned on my truck.
You shouldn't care my dude. As long as you like the way your truck looks, that's all that matters.
haha, i bought an 04 4runner where the guy had a front & rear bullbar, 2 hella spots in the front, a bumper mounted light bar, goji roofrack with 2 mounted lightbars with 4 small ones out to the sides, 2 rear spot lights & a ladder to access the roofrack. could barely even tell a difference with all the lights turned on vs the stock brights. i took all 300 lbs of that shit off & it's way quieter, better gas mileage, better approach/departure angles & no loss of visibility.
agreed. stock truck here! besides mud tires on my stock wheels and a ranch hand

Take a dollar off Junior’s paycheck for every time he says “like” in these videos

KY6 35 😎😂😂😂
Ya but one of the light bars are over 1500 dollars witch in my opinion is fucking robbery its ridiculous
Didnt realize the guys at custom offsets were in charge of what trends should stay or go... go get a hair cut then talk to me about trends that should die
Need a hug?
LiberalDStroyer666 lmao
Found the snowflake!
I found the guy that has all these mods 😂
it’s not just custom offsets buddy... if people say your truck looks good if you have all these then they’re lying to your face
Do you guys think the TIS 544 is the modern day rockstar? It’s Great looking wheel, I feel like that wheel is on everyone’s ride these days like the rockstars were.
The DodgeFather agreed
Oh yeah definitely top seller
I think it's a good looking wheel if I didn't have the cheesy lettering on the bead. Not a huge fan of black and milled though, all black or all shiny for me.
Agree they are the moto metal 962
The most important announcement from this is for 2020 Junior will finish the lift in his Bronco.
Another tip for people who upgrade their headlights:
ADJUST THEM PROPERLY it's annoying to be driving at night and dealing with someone driving with bright headlights because they adjusted them to look like they got hi beams on just so they can blind you more when they flash their actual hi beams just because you flashed yours thinking they got theirs on
I admit I have bright headlights but I have them adjusted properly so they're not blinding people and I can see plenty of road ahead of me without people flipping their hi beams at me
CheekyKnob doesn’t matter now days I get flashed in my 2017 high country all the time them being adjusted properly does nothing if the other persons car is just the right height
Omg yes, and then the people who do the horrible gross looking squat or "leveling". And still don't adjust them. Every time I see this, I think, oh look, another 17yr old.
I’m not really a Chevy fan but that Chevy with the halos was really nice
Simulated bead lock and other rivet styles should have died 10 years ago. 95% of aftermarket wheels have it.
Well I just can’t understand why you would keep a peach fuzz mustache and girly length hair...
Keep it in 1980.
olegs1101 okay boomer
Am I the only one hunting for a 37” tire for a 15” wheel.
Victor Leachman no I wish I could run 15s on my truck
Thought I was the only person still running 15"s.
I love my 15s
Victor Leachman that’s the tire set up I was running on my 03 Jeep Wrangler
Victor Leachman that just looks ugly man, need at least a 17
Hopefully the trend of tearing ass through town and not being able to meet minimum speed on the highway died.
lmfao
What should be #1 Non adjusted headlights after lift.
I spent half an hour adjusting mine just bc ik how it is getting blinded
You can adjust the headlights of a tundra with a switch inside the cab. No popping the hood... miss my Tundra’s 😩
I'm in my 40's and things are so much different now. It saddens me to see all of the ruined 03-07 Chevy trucks for example. I work at a Chevrolet dealer, and on a daily basis, some kid brings in a truck that you can tell has been destroyed in the last few months since he has owned it. I just miss the days of a stout looking "stock look" build.
KC lights coming back you light bar hippies!!
Straight up Walker Texas Ranger truck build. Chrome roll bar and all
Yellow KC smiley face covers!
KC Lights got smart and started making LED lights with the traditional style round housing.
Otherwise they wouldn't be relevant unless its an "old school" inspired build.
Hell yeah just ordered some lightforce
Round lights for sure! I run all round PIAA lights (8 of them) and love them! '94 Cherokee XJ so era wise they look right.
It is funny seeing the jacked up riding on rubberbands 4wd's with lightbars, makes zero sense.
Yeah, those low profile offroad tires should go away.
@@Dialysisforever Hell YES!! Dumbest thing ever. And these two are telling the rest of us what's IN and what's OUT? Thats like asking Jeffery Dahmer what's for dinner
Makes these guys money tho!
@@Dialysisforever low profile offroad tires are really just street tires.
Completely disagree with the lightbar comment. My jeep has a lightbar across the roof and holy crap it is wonderful on trails and when camping!
I made a mistake once putting 10k HID headlights on my truck. When driving in heavy rain on roads with not very visible lane markers to divide lanes it became a nightmare. I would almost hit curbs because couldn't see them in heavy rain
Doesn’t matter what year, weld wheels are always a hit
Noah just put a set on my 3rd gen Cummins
Daniel Bateman they look good everything near about. Have been looking for awhile for a perfect set for my square body
Talk about functionality . Body lifts are an excellent way to keep weight down low and allow bigger tires for axel clearance . If your going for a small lift its perfect because you get to keep all the factory suspension, which in return, you keep the factory handling and ride.
Lightbars r legit functional tho I use it all the time on country roads and backwoods
As a person who works specifically in the LED lighting industry. There is nothing wrong with 10k-12k lighting. Except of course pissing off the people in front of you 😂😂😂😂
Bring back 17s and 18s being popular sizes
I would go so low as 15s. Show that rubber. I'm sure tire companies love it though. People paying just as much for less rubber.
The 16” alcola wheels
One major reason for 20” standard equipment is big brakes... this is completely justified.... that being said I run 17’s on the shop rig and it’s extremely popular at shows. The daily has 20x9’s cuz that’s the smallest wheel it will fit...
@@lukepomerleau4653 ahh yes, this makes sense figuring my mustang has to be 19in or bigger for the brakes.
@@Buoyant_Thoughts that's exactly it, less rubber for more money. They're winning big and making people look stupid.
Idk, a nice set of wight halos in the headlights as Daytime Running Lights is a great way to modernize an old truck and make them safer.
RGB halos everywhere, bleck!
Everyone's entitled to there opinion. I think light bars, halos, and retrofit HID's are still bad ass.
Basically everything you just said is exactly the tuner car days before trucks became popular. Lol.
He raps it up pretty slick and the red headed dude was like holy shii bro did you just end the video? Damn that was smooth 😂 man's was caught off guard 😂
Let’s leave over sized stock wheels and squatting in 2019.
I just want to add to your light comments. I'm a Ford technician, and DOT has ruled that even the stock LED lights are too bright. And we are having to go into the computer system and dim the lights down.
So if you want to run with really Brea lights, you are asking for a ticket.
So the squat s absolutely hideous. Also I hope the term “clout” dies.
Stephen Brewer the term clout has been around since the 80s I think it will always be around
I just bought a new F250 in January. Installed rear inner fender liners, floor mats, seat covers, line x premium, window tint & had it ceramic coated. Nothing major, but it adds up. It’s easy to drop a bundle on a pickup. You get into lift kits, tires & rims and there goes $5,000.00 easy.
There are some old trucks (early bronco) where a 1” body lift makes life so much easier in terms of modern transmissions, coyote swap, wiring, plumbing etc. Except for those rare circumstances, I agree body lifts are no good.
My Ram Rebel is currently squatted ... Because it's cold as balls in Canada and my air suspension failed. 😜
Lol well.. At least you have a real reason
The squat is huge here in the Carolinas lol
Jason Morrow lil bro just squated his 2018 denali Duramax. Looks pretty decent in my opinion. It’s not outrageous though.
God its terrible. Saw an extremely squatted yukon denali yesterday, and it was so damn stupid looking. To each their own, but it looks dumb.
The virus is spreading to Virginia 😬
I lowkey like it 😂
Jason Morrow same here in Florida😂
Chrispy841 theres people that always overdue it. A few inches is okay but I’ve seen some that’s just like dude.... you gotta do better.
I got an '06 Sierra crewcab 5.3 with white paint matched everything, black stainless steel grille, 17x9 Ion Alloy 133s, 33x12.50R17 Yokohama M/T's, 3" lift, dual Flo Pro cat back and some Spyder headlights and taillights build in progress 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Squats will never die they’ve been around for as long as I’ve lived
Jesus Smokey you been around for a long time

Yup, about 18-20 years.
Smokey Bear my truck squats when it’s doing truck stuff aka what it was made for
@@yamahaguy1732 it seems you're everywhere lol hello
1984 Chevy C30 lol sup
I’ve returned my 2016 F-250 completely back to stock, except with the rear taillights, roof clearance lights, and blinkers, which are smoked. I have a 3.5 inch lift with 37’s and fox shocks and wonder why I decided to put aftermarket rims, grille, and halos. It looks so good stock.
Can’t wait for the overly wide huge offset tires to go out. I like the small wheel large tire. Bring back the 90’s style aftermarket wheels!
Womp womp
I did a 4x4 beam ranger using a 6 inch coil.. 2 inch spacer under coil.. I dropped the coil bucket 1 inch and put a 3 inch body lift. Making skirts to cover the gap from body lift. And installed 38's..
Anyone who has ever mounted a light bar above the windshield just has bad taste.
Turbo 2 wrong the light bar above the windshield looks good
@@gavintoews2543 Wrong, they look terrible. Curved windshield and a straight bar sticking out 2". Bringing back an old term for this "bunk"
I think it depends on the truck and the placement on a-pillar.
I live in East Tennessee and a lot of people still run light bars on the top of their trucks, not for looks but because when your driving down the road and it’s pouring rain, or very foggy it makes it 10x easier to see. Never cared how it looks because of the purpose it serves.
Bud Light, Bald Eagles, LS Swaps, Dale Earnhardt i hope your talking about off road use. Really hope your not of the people blinding drivers on the highway for your own convenience!
Stacking kits..I did a 2007 tundra..using fox OEM coilovers to get 3 inch lift.. I added a unibal upper arm for no bind..I installed a 3 inch fabricated lift spindle. Also added a 3 inch crossmember lower arm drop...
Im still getting that light bar lol
I’m happy running my simple stock 79’ F-150 and I get more attention then any lifted, lighted, painted truck. The idea to spend $80,000 on a new truck,,,,,,insane. But hey I did install a new seat cushion.
agreed im a Chevrolet guy but damn them 79 Fords are pretty mint
Luke mint and I only paid $2700 bucks!!! Money well spent if you ask me.
Fuller should’ve left that middle school haircut In 2019
my mouth waters watching these videos lol while i rock my F-150 stock everything. 😂😂
I feel I'm the only one who actually wants to buy rockstar wheels for my dually one day when I can afford it 😂
Got a lift on mine, 6 inch, 20's on 35's, with fender flares, it's not a pavement princess, I take to the trails often and it's always dirty, I like to off road and the lift has saved me a couple times where I'd bellied out in muddy hard to get to destinations, sometimes trails over grown and trees laying on the trail you can not see, 3
Lights in the wheel wells or under the body makes me laugh every time I see them. Reminds me of Fast in the Furious. Those should have stayed in the 90s lmao
body lifts serve purposes, I'm running a 3 inch body lift cause I plan on doing a 4bt swap this winter and it makes the swap a hell of a lot easier
😂
(Raises band in shame ) I have a light bar on my semi truck roof mounted at that. 😂 . Been there since 2013 One 36 inch light bar.
Comes in handy when I’m at customers locations in bfe late at night or when I used to go to work in the oil fields.
It’s pitch black out there and people walking around the frack site all the time. So I need to see every one and everything. It’s a matter of safety. Let’s not even talk about going to northern Canada at night. It’s pitch black out there.
I can see a good 200 yards in front with the light bar cause it so high on my truck roof.
Ill tell you what, I can’t even count how many wild horses, deer, elk and even people on bikes that I have avoided with out problems cause of my light bar.
But in the city? You don’t need a light bar.
George George And that’s when your lightbar becomes function not just for looks and I like that because I like my truck to be function it looks but more function
I have a 52” curve with colorshift halo mounted behind my drop visor on my W900. I put it on amber when driving as my cab markers. It’s tucked where you can’t see it unless you’re really looking. When I park I flip the color to match the 24 rock lights I have up under the truck. The light bar comes in handy out on these leases when I light it up
I’m watching this in April 😂 and squaring is one of the biggest things rn 😂
Exactly especially here in NC its not going away anytime soon 😂
#1 don’t for 2020... don’t lift your truck and put low pro wheels with massive offsets.... sincerity Gen1 raptor owner....
I would like to add two things to that list.
1. Tires that stick out the side of the truck 10-12 inches.
2. Having side mirrors that stick out 10-12 inches. (You aren’t towing anything, bro)
What do you think??
top left wheels on the wall are gorgeous
What is the top most left wheel
farjad noor vision rocker, i think
Look here!! bit.ly/38eWhXt
Had a light bar on for about 2 months. It whistled over 30 mph, and you could hear it inside with ac on and the radio at a comfortable talking level. I was happy to remove it.
West Monroe, Louisiana needs these tips along with 10 stereotypes 😂
Correct me if I’m wrong but the only way you gain body/suspension clearance is from putting bigger tires on your vehicle not installing a 2000 dollar lift kit if you put 35s on a 3in body lift and 35s on a 3in suspension lift kit you would have the exact same body/suspension clearance
Looking for air bags..hint...hint.(do an air bag video) for squat
A clean light bar in the bumper of a 4th gen dodge is probably one of the sickest mods tho not gonna lie
I'll stick to the way my Expedition looks. Big tires, 16 inch rims a lift and brush guard. It's simple and clean
K
I have a 20 inch light bar on my Ram bumper. I use it every night coming home from work. It's all backroads with lots of deer and the extra light makes it much easier to see their movement and slow down in time.
I like a truck lifted about 4 inches on wheels and tires that dont make rubber bands and tires that are about as big as you can fit but no offset unless it's a tiny tiny bit. One lightbar maybe and if you want add a turbo and tune her but all this extra crap like super exspencive wheels and halos or anything of the sort maybe I don't know a bumper that costs 3 grand? I just wouldn't do it. I can agree alot of it looks sweet and for alot of people it's something they enjoy but I'm going to use my truck not make it so pretty I whipe my chrome wheels down every night...
Dont think light bars should go away I personally think we should start running curved bars on ur roof and use the straight bar for bumpers and beds
I’m keeping my light bar 😂
Love my 2016 grey sr5 tundra 3.5 lift..20inch rims and 34inch nittro ridge grapples
Squatting needs to go, on god
Some food for thought I personally would like to add (some of which will not be wildly popular ).
#1) People REALLY need to learn when they should or shouldn't be used. To be extremely blunt, if you feel a need to use them when there is other traffic present, you shouldn't be driving after dark! Running ANY auxiliary lighting ( including factory " fog " lights ) just makes things more dangerous for others around you.
#2) Vehicles with squat should NEVER be driven at night. All your going to be doing is blinding other motorists ( especially semi trucks ). I personally am not a fan of leveling kits on trucks that will pull trailers at night for the very same reason.
I know my thoughts among many will not be real popular. We all need to share the road with other motorists in a way that is safe and responsible. If we don't, it wont be long and lift's and additional lighting will be outlawed, and nobody want's that. I hope everyone takes these comments and actually gives them some thought.
the whole skating on 30's on the 15'' circus suspension look has to die!
Sorry but I still love the look of halo lights in headlights
Trucks today are comparable to dudes with shaved legs, painted nails, and a ton of make-up.
Although I tend to go lighter on the makeup, especially during the day.
Well said!
@@Bushguyrocks u killed this
You mean.. make up?
@@vegasxventures, no. I actually meant "makeup". But shit happens.
Bro. I’m from Cali. I have the Cali squat. 2 inch max. Why? Desert runs. Leave the front end light, keep rears on the ground. There is a purpose better handling.
Johnie huie with the damn gmc he’s selling for 26 k with 330k miles
Hunter Carrigan i saw that 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Seen that but I personally think the truck looks alright but not worth 26K
Garrett Alward it looks great but it’s 330k miles with a salvage title
Hunter Carrigan exactly but then again I have a Chevy with close to 500,000 that I’d drive anywhere
Does not have a salvage title FYI
I agree that these were out in 2019. But Mullets were out in the ‘80’s and you’re still rocking one.
Depends entirely where you live Bc these trends are still going where I live😂
i think all my mexicans can agree the biggest trend of 2020 is dropping a chevy silverado/ram 1500 classic (mexicans or takuaches still mexicans doe)
Headlight revolution is a great headlight channel
When someone says ‘I did it to make people mad’ when that thing that they did costs a bunch of money... yikes. I hate this phrase, but “you played yourself” REALLY applies here.
I’m gonna get bags for my truck so I can squat it sometimes!
You guys should do one of things that where popular in like 2010 and are still popular today
Welp I don’t fall into any of those categories 🤙🏻💯
Having the light bar so close to the front of the top allows hood glare. You should set the bar like 10 inches back.
The squat still hasn’t died I wish it would.
I understand the lightbar for trucks that never go offroad but what about us that offroad regularly. I got 4 pods in my bumper for low ground (has 4 seperate mounts built in), 2 rectangle pods on my hood to angle out to light up the sides of trails and soon to be a bar on my bumper in the built in mount for center point while trailing
Who disliked and why and do you think fuller should shave his eyebrows
I’d say the only reason to do a body lift is to clear say a bigger trans or engine
I'll be putting a body lift in my 06 wrangler to be able to lift up the transmission pan for more clearance. But only need an inch.
90% disagree but your build is yours and mine is mine right
My dad had this 1971 Ford F-250 sport custom. He had that neat looking spare wheel in the front and I think that would be a cool trend.
