i agree with the more sidewall. you have option to get a 24x14 wheels and get 40x15 tires and be able to show them off and still be able to off road more. so it’s not considered a PAVEMENT PRINCESS
I never really follow trends, I just do what I like and works for me, but I agree with most of it. The sidewalls, I went from 26s w/ 37s to 24s w/ 38s I like a little more sidewall. (Plus a slightly better ride and less chance of wheel damage) More and more people I know w/ 8 & 10 inch lift are going lower now. The Kelderman 5-6 lift has always been enough for me. I never really liked those multi-color rock lights I've always stuck w/ bright white. I don't delete any of my trucks, just a dpf back exhaust. Now I do get an compound turbo kit larger injectors and a tune. Electric truck not, diesel only I don't even think they're even close to making any electric truck capable if towing my 33k lb 60ft boat and trailer. As for the Carolina squat, no comment. 😫
y'all missed a big one. the "bubba" truck trend is getting big down south with the squat ban. the dudes will un squat their trucks just enough to comply with the new law and ditch the huge wheels then put massive mud tires on their stock wheels. they can actually off-road too and it looks pretty good.
Around where I live, a lot more classic trucks from 90s or earlier are popping up. I think the pre emission stuff is popular. Also just the old school body styles. I’m building a 1st gen and it’s hard to find stuff, it’s very expensive and everyone wants it
Its what I did but with 12 wides. Did a 2.5” level on my Ram but 20x12 with 33” tires. Not super wide, but the proportions are just right and I love the look
I want more sidewall. Fuck its so annoying to see trucks that get stuck in grass 😭 I want rock lights. But my Excursion is so thick I wanna know where the ditch is.
I think the biggest new truck trend is the increasing popularity of mid-sized trucks. Literally all of them look sick. GM has the upper hand with the available duramax option in the colorado/canyon, they just need to update the body style. The new frontiers look great, tacomas are always dope, rangers are back plus the maverick. Rumor has it dodge is bringing back the dakota. I love the capability of my full size truck, but a midsize would be more practical for daily driving to work and such. I know we don't buy trucks for the gas mileage but let's be real, 99% of us are only towing a few times a year.
I’m going from a 6 inch rough county to 9 in the front 8 in the rear by add a leaf and cutting and moving the coil buckets oh and can’t forget the color matched straight axles
I’ve never ran stretched tires on my truck. A bigger sidewall is what’s going to save the rims when you drive up a curb. Come on now nobody wants scratched rims do they??? Keep the videos coming.
As of right now the squat isn’t banned in South Carolina just north but they are trying to pass a bill to ban it. Listen I’m 30 I do dig the squat on some trucks the suvs not a big fan of but everyone has their opinion love them or hate them. I mean these kids could be doing way worse with their money now then squatting a truck. I personally hope they don’t ban it but the extreme 12 inch in the front nothing in the back is a little too much. There are more things in this world to worry about them a 18 19 year old kid driving a squatted truck. Love the channel guys.
Electric vehicles is a way to limit your freedom and keep you confined to a 200 mile radius, its all part of the future control grid that they want to implement. It has nothing to do with saving the environment in fact they are worse for the environment.
Ok ok hear me out. In eastern NC, where leaned out trucks are the biggest, anywhere rural, which is basically everywhere, does not give a crap about squat on a truck regardless of the law. Also, there’s so many ways around the law cause they didn’t realize they left loopholes in it.
ngl I wish companies didnt focus all on electric so quickly, some companies are no longer making combustion. Ima miss the supercharged v8 of the ford lightning
Agree with dustin on the squat. Bags are gonna pick up in the truck scene to keep the squat just like the old heads did with lowriders. This squat shit aint gon die out #LaidBack
That’s funny the trends are what I’m already doing. I have a 15 platty with 24x12 on 33x13.5 and a 4” lift. Looks beastly. Not exactly Bull dog looking but just looks tough and mean
Thank god for the Pacific Northwest. Already ahead, and have always been ahead of the goofy curve we just watched. Somewhere in that comment is an old school Tupac n Biggie battle.
There's nothing wrong with a pavement princess. Not all of us want to spend 10s of thousands of dollars on tires, wheels, lifts and anything else just to go get it all muddy. I hate having a dirty truck especially after buying an 80k truck with probably 20k in parts. I want it to stay clean as long as possible. I'm not afraid to admit that my truck is a pavement princess but it looks good it can still tow. I use my other truck for hunting and in winter. Why destroy a truck that I built the way I want just so people don't call it a pavement princess. They didn't have to pay for it.
I’m from the south, we have been truckin with lifted rigs since the early 70’s .. this is just pure trendy and a fad for most of these pavement princesses. Our daily trucks are on 44’s and 9” minimum and we don’t wash our trucks!

my man you don’t have a 50 foot boat or a “compound turbo truck that’s not deleted”

Interesting we gotta take a look!

Stop following trends build your truck the way you want to . Get rid of social media and enjoy life .
I’ve started to see people get leveling kits and 14 wides with some stretched 420s or proxes. More low and wide street trucks I predict
Its what I did but with 12 wides. Did a 2.5” level on my Ram but 20x12 with 33” tires. Not super wide, but the proportions are just right and I love the look
Speaking from a guy who lives in Clemson South Carolina , they still squated it just be like How tint is illegal it’s all depends on who the cop is
I went more sidewall on our larger vehicles. The cars have thinner sidewalls. Performance is always the first. Great video!
Appreciate you guys taking time out of your night to make this video you guys are so cool I give this video a 10 out of 10
I love my 18 burban with a 4inch lift and 33s(wish i was able to do 35s but gotta love dumb chevy with their square wheel well 😞)
The hell is up with all those squatted trucks with their tailgates half open
I grew up in Wisconsin and I always love going past rhinelander and seeing the hodag
Going this year?! Might see ya! -Fuller
In Australia hardly anybody uses rock lights. You might see them on a Jeep here and there but not many
I want more sidewall. Fuck its so annoying to see trucks that get stuck in grass 😭 I want rock lights. But my Excursion is so thick I wanna know where the ditch is.

It’s all about lifted Suburban’s and Tahoe’s now.
The background in this video was amazing!

what u gonna do when u get a ford lightning or whatever and the lithium mines go dry???

I saw a rivian on the road in Trenton FL 2 weeks ago. Didn't know what it was till I saw this.
Day 68 of asking custom offsets for a company dually truck build
A few weeks ago I saw a semi truck loaded with rivians
These guys need a tv show like diesel brothers or Texas metal, I think it would be a hit
I see the air squat much like airing out your dumped xyz at the show
Looking fwd to the under vehicle lights going the way of Spinners.
Those will come back, promise ya. Hahaha
I hate the look of lifted ifs. Straight axel is so much better. Do a 1st gen 4Runner video? It’s been over a year of asking,

the hodag reference spooked me because i forgot y’all were in wisconsin 😂 my uncle lives in rhinelander and i go there all the time

I honestly agree
Exactly
Being the owner of a 19+ GM truck with factory LED’s their good but I’m just waiting for companies to make better headlights
Wow calling out your boy Glen. Wild!

Bubba trucks are going to be big in 2022
love the hodag country🤘
My marine corps recruiter is from Rhinelander I saw the dragon thing😂
I live in north carolina and I don't see as many squatted trucks but there are still a good many
I saw a Rivian in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania so they're definitely out there
I got a question when the Chevy truck you showed doing a burnout why did it look like only one tire was moving
Because only one tire was spinning. It was doing exactly what it looked like it was doing. It’s the result of a worn-out posi.
I saw the hummer ev few days ago at walmart
I love knowing all the Wisconsin references
I know what a Hodag is! I’ve been to Rhinelander numerous times!
i agree everyone is gonna do what you guys just said, well at least some people 😅
I'm already ahead of y'all, I went from 22x12 to 17x8.5
Omar still has the cocain train😂 he been having 210 Auto Haus do some work on it
Yup. I drive by 210 Auto Haus weekly and at first thought it was just a replica then realized it was actually that exact truck! Lol!
ngl I wish companies didnt focus all on electric so quickly, some companies are no longer making combustion. Ima miss the supercharged v8 of the ford lightning

Put tractor tyres on those massive wheels
the squat ban isnt that big of a deal just cant be more than 4 inches really and depends on the law if he even waste his time to pull you

I wanna see more of that 8.1 cause I have one and you never see them
Yeah I think more people are buying higher trim levels because if your gonna spend 60k on a base line you mine aswell spend 25k more on a premium
@@ChrisPBacone I didn’t get shit my truck is 75 f250 highboy that iam building and paid 1800 bucks for bro iam 17 I can’t afford that stuff
rgb has been out since like 2018 lmao, Ive only had white since 2018
Maybe North Carolina but South Carolina squat is gettin worst by the week.
Does anyone else like small rims and big tires I think it looks dope not really liking those rubber bands
Thank god for the Pacific Northwest. Already ahead, and have always been ahead of the goofy curve we just watched. Somewhere in that comment is an old school Tupac n Biggie battle.

FEPA.
No don't do more sidewall. I enjoy seeing trucks get stuck in a sand lot
i saw that you tried to twist open the can
👍👍
“Custom offsets tv on the RUclips”

The real question is does anybody actually want an electric truck
Bruh what about “bubba trucks”

JR is definitely different not to big on his options
If you have astigmatism then why don't you wear glasses?
Glasses don't always correct for astigmatism.
Maybe he's wearing scleral lenses for correction?
I do, and I have severe astigmatism - a life changer.
I tried sorry

Squating a truck is the dumbest thing and looks stupid

Electric junk
None of these can even be used as trucks. Can't tow, can't go off road, can't do anything. It is like mumble rap...useless.
