In my opinion, those black denim jeans paired with a brown leather jacket looks pretty good. I also like black leather with light wash denim. When I was younger I saw that a lot. In the winter we used to wear our light wash denim jackets over our black leather jackets. I also had a black leather blazer that I paired with jeans and either cowboy boots or black harness boots. Think the character of Joey in the first few episodes of Friends.
I've got a Ralph Lauren Goat Suede in Camel 2 roll 3 button blazer and I absolutely love it. Very smart casual, warm but not too warm. Excellent quality.
One’s wardrobe ‘can be a reflection of who you are. A wardrobe is almost always a disguise of who you think you are. I’ve seen so many guys dress the way they want to be on the outside. But on the inside. They’re very different. Which is why I live by the words ‘the man makes the clothes’. And not the other way around. I dress in jeans and a t-shirt pretty much 24/7 when out and about. I am currently in the middle of a large’ish business deal. And I show up in jeans, t shirt and flip flops. Why? Because I have in the past with great success. And because the ones I am dealing with know who I am and won’t what I appear to be on the outside. Be the man that makes the clothes. And not the other way around. The ‘fake it till you make it’ days are gone.
Next weekend im going yo buy my first leather jacket, a black one, to use with the birthday gift my girlfriend gave me, a Tom Ford Ombré Leather. Love your content! Gretings from Uruguay!
myself i prefer nicely faded blue jeans to a light shade of blue, in 100% Cotton with very minor distress if any at all. And these are very difficult to find these days.
@Fouad.Chaouki Yeah, right.. 😆 He could also say that jeans are outdated too because they are 150 years old 😀 Perfecto style leather jacket are immortal for example 😀 Thanks to Marlon Brando in the "Wild One" movie from 1953, not the Ramones in the 1970s. This jacket was once forbidden for sale because of this movie in many regions in England and USA, it was a symbol of rebellious youth 😎😀
What if you're getting away from jeans? I find them to be too thick and hot in warm weather. What other pants would you suggest to go with either a cafe racer jacket or a bomber jacket? I've been wearing a lot of cargo pants lately. I'm 66 and need to carry reading glasses along with keys, phone and wallet. I don't want a man purse.
I've seen men wearing jeans, cargo pants, chinos, carpenter pants, and I can't think of any more. Point is, you can wear more than jeans and pull it off.
the only jeans I find to hot are those made out of material other than 100% Cotton. So many jeans today are spandex and or polyester blends. I don't know what I would do without my vintage 100% cotton jeans.
This guy isn’t aware of Hedi Slimane 😅 my leather is Saint Laurent runway biker that was “menswear” but was so tiny it even fits me almost like a cropped jacket 😮🤣
in my opinion the condition of the jacket matters, when you wear brand new leather jacket pair it with older denim to soften the overall look, and if you have crisp new denim jeans pair it with old or at least broken in leather jacket, brand new leather jacket + brand new jeans scream midlife crisis. I think outside of boots, double monkstraps works with leather jacket especially jacket with buckle either as belt, cuff strap, or side adjusters
The sheering jacket on heavy guys feels like an odd choice. As a heavy guy I'm not sure how it would fit, feels like extra bulk. I'm short to add to it.
