I didn’t start doing shows till 2 or 3 years later . I was a member of the house of Adonis and then I became the mother of the house .

Anytime black people do something and it’s not purely on the subject and merit of their “blackness” it does not make it unconventional. This is a conversation where all black people involved convinced you they are human….that’s called normal. That’s conventional. This is a very conventional, buzz feed coded, plain English, boring conversation, held by 3 people who happen to be black.
This interview shows such a wonderful side of being an ally. Amber has roots in the community and STILL learned a ton through the conversation; being receptive to learning is important and I love how willing she was to ask questions. Love this.
