Just came back from Cancun a couple weeks ago, used Nacho tours for airport transport, driver was on time for pickup from and to the airport and payment was easy, would use Nacho again. You were spot on with the food at Majestic Elegance, most of the food was just not good but not bad but the Hibachi grill was excellent, butler service was awesome, will get a swim out room next time. Just got back from Majestic 2 weeks ago and I'm happy to report that you can now make reservations for the Hibachi and French restaurants easily thru your butler.
We went in January. There were 11 of us in our group. We were on the adult side. I 100% agree with everything you said. We stayed a week and I preferred the buffet over all of the restaurants. it was really good!

Do you think it’s a good idea to book that cruise or did Go Majestic offer any similar cruises? Also, did they offer any photographer packages?

Wow!!! I heard Beloved Playa Mujeres is very good! Going to try that next year. The Sun Palace is nice but kind of boring. Haven we have been to before doing videos and liked it but beach isn’t great. We are headed to Breathless in a few weeks
Two questions because this resort won’t answer the phone: 1) Is alcoholic drinks included? Because I’ve only seen wine and non-alcoholic drinks are included. 2) Is the Italian restaurant available to all guests or just their Elegance Club members?
Yes all alcoholic drinks are included! I’m pretty sure the Italian restaurant was open for everyone but since I was a club member everything was included

I think for the price point they do a good job. The dinner restaurants were not good when I was there. But loved the cocktails. So far the best Ive been to is Excellence Playa Mujeres but mugger price point and adults only.
This was a great video! Looking forward to my first Mexican vacation. Is their a downtown area with a bunch of nightlife and restaurants, or is the resort secluded and you need to drive to Cancun for the nightlife?
How exciting. That resort is about 20-30 minutes to downtown nightlife. You could absolutely take transportation there. The resorts try to entertain you on property as much as possible so you don’t feel the need to venture out.

Thanks for watching!! The Moon Palace is really amazing but the beach is terrible. The Barcelo has a ton of things onsite too like a dolphin tank and little playgrounds and their beach was very nice. That one is about 80 minutes from the airport. In Punta Cana the Royalton one that I did a review on I could see being great for those ages if you wanted something smaller!! This one there wasn’t much for kids to do. 😄
Thanks for all the great info! At many high star resorts I have been to, it is not acceptable to tip individuals. Instead, tips are given in an envelope at the end of the stay. What is the tip protocol at this resort?
Thank you so much for this comprehensive review! We are looking for an all inclusive resort for our wedding in December of 2022 and this resort is currently at the top of our list. In your honest opinion, would this be a good place for all of our family and friends? Some people will bring their kids but most of our guests will want an adults only vibe.
I really do because there are things to do for kids too BUT the adult pool is a little small so I don’t know how many people you are having. The Majestic in Punta Cana is good too. I absolutely loved the Barcelo in Riviera Maya and the families can stay at other properties right next door if you want a larger property and a little better food. Check out my review on that one. I’m going back with my kids in January to that property. What a tough decision!!
Majestic Punta Cana or Costa Mujeres? If you are talking Costa Mujeres I like EPM better because it was adults only and the food was better. If you’re talking Punta Cana ahhhh that’s so hard. They are ver similar I thought!!

We saw groups that made their own parties every day in the pool and then at night they had the sports bar with karaoke etc. you can also go downtown one night. But there is not a club onsite at this resort. If you have guests coming with kids it seems like the best of both worlds. The Majestic in Punta Cana also seems like a good wedding destination. Exciting times for you!!!

Hi there! I enjoyed this video and so informative! QQ... how was the water temp of the plunge pool? Looks like you visited in April and we're going there this May 6-11. We got the plunge pool suite as well but not oceanfront like yours. I've read reviews that mentioned the water was cold and some pools were not clean. It looks like the pool has a filter system, so I was surprised by these comments. What was your take on the plunge pool? Thanks!
That's great to hear! We're really excited! Especially late April-early May, I figured that the sun would warm up the plunge pool enough for a dip. The privacy tho.. especially during Orange light.. will be helpful in mitigating Was the plunge pool clean and rooftop area in general? Thx again

There is an extra cost for the Club level! You have to make sure your room is categorized at that level. If your room reserved doesn’t have the word club in it then call them to upgrade. Thanks for watching!!

I heard Grand Velas is good but I think they have seaweed problems too. Hard Rock in hotel zone might be good too. I personally am not a Hard Rock when I’m in the Caribbean fan but they cater to teens well

Thanks for watching! It was April 2021. The hotel zone usually has beautiful blue water! During the summer they can get the seaweed sometimes too. We stayed at the Sun Palace last July and it had seaweed. But the water was still very blue

how was the privacy in the roof top plunge pool level of your room? It looks as though the walls on the sides are not very tall. was it a pain to not have a bathroom up on that top level of your room? thanks!
It was private but you did have rooms right next to you. Like people could hear you probably lol. It wasn’t a big deal that the bathroom wasn’t there. I loved it!!
I recommend booking beforehand if you are booking through the resort because the prices are the same and the excursions book up. We were just in Mexico at another resort last week and lost our chance to get on a tour because we were too late booking it.
Majestic Costa Mujeres?? If that’s the one you are talking about then I would say if you truly want an Adults only All inclusive experience then Sun Palace. I liked the rooms better at Majestic though
I enjoyed your video. I have a couple questions...when were you there? Did the plunge pool get sun the whole time or did the build eventually block the pool? I am torn between getting a jacuzzi or the plunge pool room.
Thank you so much! I was there in April 2021. It depends where your room is! It was definitely cold bc when we went it wasn’t super hot and they had rain. I liked it better bc you didn’t have to fill up the pool each time like you do the jet spa. That’s also an advantage maybe because you have fresh water each time. But if you like warm water go with the jet spa!!!

So if you like warm relaxing water then go jacuzzi. If you want refreshing cool water go pool. Also think about you have to fill the jacuzzi every time you want to use it. Hope that helps!!
Hi! So we we booked an ocean view but called and requested oceanfront. I think they are hard to come by. I think bc they knew we were filming they gave us a good room. Call ahead of time and tell them it’s a very special occasion etc
It means you are club level which will put you in the adults only section, give you access to club lounges and high end liquor. You don’t have to book the club level when booking. You can upgrade when you get there but you won’t have the option for oceanfront rooms I don’t think

Massages at resorts are always over priced like $150-$200 but it’s about what you want to experience on vacation! They were doing them down in the cenote part which seemed neat.
I haven’t been to this one yet but heard it’s good. Food isn’t as good as Palace resorts - Fiesta America. Also Hotel Xcaret although pricey and then Majestic Elegance which we did a video on and could be a little boring
So what do u recommend for families. I have 2 boys, 9 and 12 and I’m having a really hard time finding some place nice and I just love this place so I was ready to book but u made a good point about not being a family resort so do u have a video where u recommend families and that is very very similar to this one. We absolutely want a swim out and we trust Mexico more in terms of service and food.
Hi! So check out my other videos. If you don’t care about the beach thank The Grand at Moon Palace was great. I loved the adults only so much at the Barcelo that I already booked a trip in January for a family vacation and they have swim outs at the Barcelo Caribe. I think they would get bored at the Majestic. I also heard Xcaret is awesome and lots to do.
@donnagingrichjones I know! I think resorts got away with them bc drunk people and hot tubs don’t mix well. We just got back from Atelier and they had one
They do have several pool bars located around. Check out the video around 10 minutes in. You can see the pool bar at the family pool then the adult only pool bars are kind of hidden away

It’s not a dumb question at all! The basic level will still give you all inclusive drinks and food but the club level gives you the premium liquor and concierge. Go for club!!!!

The call center can either connect you or give you the number. It’s an international call so if you’re not in Mexico you will need a calling card

Thank you so much for this comprehensive review! We are looking for an all inclusive resort for our wedding in December of 2022 and this resort is currently at the top of our list. In your honest opinion, would this be a good place for all of our family and friends? Some people will bring their kids but most of our guests will want an adults only vibe.
I really do because there are things to do for kids too BUT the adult pool is a little small so I don’t know how many people you are having. The Majestic in Punta Cana is good too. I absolutely loved the Barcelo in Riviera Maya and the families can stay at other properties right next door if you want a larger property and a little better food. Check out my review on that one. I’m going back with my kids in January to that property. What a tough decision!!

Majestic Punta Cana or Costa Mujeres? If you are talking Costa Mujeres I like EPM better because it was adults only and the food was better. If you’re talking Punta Cana ahhhh that’s so hard. They are ver similar I thought!!

Thanks for watching!! It depends on the level of partying that you want! We saw groups that made their own parties every day in the pool and then at night they had the sports bar with karaoke etc. you can also go downtown one night. But there is not a club onsite at this resort. If you have guests coming with kids it seems like the best of both worlds. The Majestic in Punta Cana also seems like a good wedding destination. Exciting times for you!!!

Hi there! I enjoyed this video and so informative! QQ... how was the water temp of the plunge pool? Looks like you visited in April and we're going there this May 6-11. We got the plunge pool suite as well but not oceanfront like yours. I've read reviews that mentioned the water was cold and some pools were not clean. It looks like the pool has a filter system, so I was surprised by these comments. What was your take on the plunge pool?

That's great to hear! We're really excited! Especially late April-early May, I figured that the sun would warm up the plunge pool enough for a dip. The privacy tho.. especially during Orange light.. will be helpful in mitigating

Yes! Ours was spotless. The housekeeping goes up there. I was always wondering how they keep the pool so clean etc lol.

This is very informative! You mentioned Club level is when you travel with all adults. Is there an extra cost for the club level? How can I make sure I'm club level with access to the butler and room service?
There is an extra cost for the Club level! You have to make sure your room is categorized at that level. If your room reserved doesn’t have the word club in it then call them to upgrade. Thanks for watching!!

I heard Grand Velas is good but I think they have seaweed problems too. Hard Rock in hotel zone might be good too. I personally am not a Hard Rock when I’m in the Caribbean fan but they cater to teens well

looking at this resort also, watched your video on majestic mirage punta cana, we stayed there earlier this month and loved it. What resort did you like better and why? Stayed at Grand Oasis Palm Cancun in 2014 and liked MM PC much better

Thanks for watching! It was April 2021. The hotel zone usually has beautiful blue water! During the summer they can get the seaweed sometimes too. We stayed at the Sun Palace last July and it had seaweed. But the water was still very blue

Exellent hotel, do they make any deposit with your credit card? And you don't even know if they also do the time share Program?
All resorts take a deposit with your credit card. The amount varies. Usually around $400. I don’t think they have a time share.
Which time of the year did you go that it was so windy? Or is it windy in that part of Cancun all year?
how was the privacy in the roof top plunge pool level of your room? It looks as though the walls on the sides are not very tall. was it a pain to not have a bathroom up on that top level of your room? thanks!
It was private but you did have rooms right next to you. Like people could hear you probably lol. It wasn’t a big deal that the bathroom wasn’t there. I loved it!!
Do you recommend to book excursions beforehand or are there better discounts and pricing onsite and should wait to book then?
I recommend booking beforehand if you are booking through the resort because the prices are the same and the excursions book up. We were just in Mexico at another resort last week and lost our chance to get on a tour because we were too late booking it.

As long as you are adults they will let you use the adult areas. At least when I was there they did!

Majestic Costa Mujeres?? If that’s the one you are talking about then I would say if you truly want an Adults only All inclusive experience then Sun Palace. I liked the rooms better at Majestic though

I enjoyed your video. I have a couple questions...when were you there? Did the plunge pool get sun the whole time or did the build eventually block the pool? I am torn between getting a jacuzzi or the plunge pool room.
Thank you so much! I was there in April 2021. It depends where your room is! It was definitely cold bc when we went it wasn’t super hot and they had rain. I liked it better bc you didn’t have to fill up the pool each time like you do the jet spa. That’s also an advantage maybe because you have fresh water each time. But if you like warm water go with the jet spa!!!

We just booked this resort for our 20th anniversary in October. What is the mask requirements? Im sure it might change in a few months.

So if you like warm relaxing water then go jacuzzi. If you want refreshing cool water go pool. Also think about you have to fill the jacuzzi every time you want to use it. Hope that helps!!

Hi! So we we booked an ocean view but called and requested oceanfront. I think they are hard to come by. I think bc they knew we were filming they gave us a good room. Call ahead of time and tell them it’s a very special occasion etc

It means you are club level which will put you in the adults only section, give you access to club lounges and high end liquor. You don’t have to book the club level when booking. You can upgrade when you get there but you won’t have the option for oceanfront rooms I don’t think

They gave me a Bridal sheet that was for bridal parties. But I’ll send it to you if you if you want. My email is blancheandcompany@gmail.com. Massages at resorts are always over priced like $150-$200 but it’s about what you want to experience on vacation! They were doing them down in the cenote part which seemed neat.
Could you recommend a few similar resorts for family with 2 teenagers?
I haven’t been to this one yet but heard it’s good. Food isn’t as good as Palace resorts - Fiesta America. Also Hotel Xcaret although pricey and then Majestic Elegance which we did a video on and could be a little boring
So what do u recommend for families. I have 2 boys, 9 and 12 and I’m having a really hard time finding some place nice and I just love this place so I was ready to book but u made a good point about not being a family resort so do u have a video where u recommend families and that is very very similar to this one.
We absolutely want a swim out and we trust Mexico more in terms of service and food.
Hi! So check out my other videos. If you don’t care about the beach thank The Grand at Moon Palace was great. I loved the adults only so much at the Barcelo that I already booked a trip in January for a family vacation and they have swim outs at the Barcelo Caribe. I think they would get bored at the Majestic. I also heard Xcaret is awesome and lots to do.

It’s not a dumb question at all! The basic level will still give you all inclusive drinks and food but the club level gives you the premium liquor and concierge. Go for club!!!!
