Oh people, we bought a Jayco Pinicle in 2019 and it has been so incredible! We had a leak and it was a pinhole at the roof which I siliconed and it stopped and a leak in the pipes to our washer which we don’t have and we repaired that. Out side that not a single incident! We love our home. Quite often people ask us would we do anything different. Not a thing! We love it. Our trim and cabinets are so beautiful, so much better than rigs that cost $300,000 or more! And I did finish work on homes and cabinets for 45 years. We love our rig and recommend it to anyone!!

Tony and Jennifer at Alliance have been amazing! I have a customer with a brand new 310rl and for the past year, Alliance called me, Myself and the owner have replaced slide bars on the dining room slide, bulb and wiper seals. the under belly as the dealer had cut it open AND the bed room slide mechanism as it was binding. Everything Fedex
to us. Lately the bedroom slide FEll out! Alliance covered the cost of the replacement slide room and shipped it complete. Installing it is this weekends project. Very easy people to deal with. I wish moree RV manufactures were like this. Grand Design and DRV are pretty good as well. Lux is in a place all by themselves!

I've been doing a fair amount of research on the Alliance line. Leaning towards a Valor 37V13. Your review is one of the most reasonable that I have yet seen. But one thing is for sure.. I hope that the Owners of Alliance are paying attention to the feedback from it's customers, otherwise, they become a member of the Whatever Club. Having to wait for an Alliance Customer Rally and especially being limited to two issues... I find that unacceptable and they should be working on a solution. They have a rare opportunity to become a Leader, no, not just a Leader.. but the Leader in the Industry if they act accordingly!

You're very lucky. I have spent hundreds of hours fixing all the factory screwups. The license plate bracket and license plate fell off on the very first trip which was only 30 miles from home to a state park. The screws holding the license plate bracket were stripped out from the factory. The second week the 50amp plug where you connect your power cord to the side of the RV fell out because the factory stripped out the screws holding it. The taillights fell out. Again the screws holding it were stripped out. Not mention all the pinched and bad wires I've had to repair. I haven't had any AC electrical power in the kitchen slide for a long time. More pinched wires in the under belly I'm sure. I've already had it off several times for wiring repairs. Lost all AC electrical power in the bedroom night stands because they pinched the wiring to it when they put in the wet bay. It would be a very long list if I listed everything that has went wrong. I would have traded it off long ago but I spent most of my retirement money on it so now my only choice is to keep fixing it. Just hoping the all wiring problems don't burn it down.

I do know our model has the best of both lines, the 37 mbr was a prototype model when we pulled the trigger >< Customer service has been a godsend and that's what sold us on the unit too. Wife and I recently went to look at a Avenue 32RLS and a Paradigm 295MK. To preface, I'm a very technical person and very anal when it comes to things being "engineered" properly. And some may not like my opinion, but I think the Alliance products quality is only skin deep. They look beautiful with a very modern design and layout. While my wife was oogling over that aspect I started to really look at it from a technical aspect. For one, behind that access panel in the pass through storage....I can only describe what I saw as a web of cabling everywhere. If something needed to be serviced beyond that web there is literally no way to get to it without cutting cables. A little more thought and engineering could have gone in to that "mess" to put cable hangs and run the cables in an orderly fashion. Second, the shower in the 32RLS. The floor was like a trampoline. Zero support under it, especially around the drain. I'm only 175 lbs and the floor was moving a good inch or more in some spots. That's a recipe for a broken shower and/or drain plumbing. I did not see a way to access that area from underneath either, so it would most likely need to have the shower removed to address that. Third, and this is being nit picky, but a lot of the trim inside, like the baton's and crown molding, are fake wood with like a wall paper print on them. And in a lot of spots that wall paper print was coming off or shrinking. Fourth, as noted in this video, the slam latches were not properly installed. On the 295MK the driver side storage door wouldn't even close on one side. On the 32RLS the entry door wouldn't close without pushing it from the bottom. Fifth, in the 32RLS the bedroom ducted A/C on full blast barely had any airflow coming out of the vents. I closed off the dumps and it was barely blowing any air. This only had 4 vents, 3 in the bedroom, 1 in the bathroom. You could barely feel any air coming out of any of them. Something was definitely up with that. Sixth, in their "customer driven features" on their website they tout Lionshead tires. Neither of these 2022 rigs had Lionshead tires. They were some off-brand china bombs.
My final point of contention comes from speaking to an Alliance rep that was there. I specifically asked about the frame. They use a Lippert Benchmark frame. I then asked about installing a Reese Goosebox since that's what I prefer to run. He said they do not recommend the Reese Goosebox, but instead suggested the Gen Y hitch. Which I find odd since only the Reese Goosebox is OE approved by Lippert with their frames. If you sustain frame damage with the Gen Y you are pretty much on your own for the repairs. This all didn't make sense to me why they would recommend a product that their frame manufacturer has no association with.

    • @WaywardWaggs
      @WaywardWaggs  2 года назад +1

We have not had any issues since this video and Alliance customer service has always taken care of us when fixing issues so we will stick with Alliance. We hope you can find a brand that suits your taste.

Hello all, I have a Alliance 310RL which I purchased in February. I have listed a majority of things that I have happened with mine. These don’t include 13 items that were discovered on inspection day that they (dealership) had to resolve. I am not here to bash Alliance, but sharing my experience. I have not been 100 percent satisfied with Alliance nor the dealership I purchased it from. They are supposed to fix all of the remaining items next week. I am hoping this will be the last time it has to go into the shop. I am not a newbie to RV’s. I have had 2 Grand Designs (my favorites), Keystone Carbon, an older Thor product and now the Alliance. I do expect little things, but not everything we experienced. Please see a list below.
Fresh water tank leaking from the valve - I had to fix myself
Black out shades - The shades would not stay down - I had to remove them and make adjustments on 3 different ones.
Leaking hydraulic on the right rear - still leaking. All of them are also making a creaking sound.
The reservoir was overfilled for the hydraulic fluid and leaked all over the front compartment. I had to remove about 1 quart of fluid to prevent further leaking.
Sewer valves are leaking so when I take off the cap, I have black sewage leaking all over. I am not talking about a little residual, I am talking about 4-6 cups worth of liquid. I had to purchase a secondary valve to prevent this from happening until it goes in for service.
The shower shelf was only screwed in with one screw and had silicone everywhere trying to hold it in place. I had to remove it and fill it with silicone to prevent further damage to the shower.
Waterspout on the passenger side will not connect to the hose.
The underbelly had gaps which could allow rodents inside.
The main door literally separated from the hinge.
This doesn’t count all of the other little things that I had to fix as well.
Interesting on the floor, I will have to check to see if I have that little block as well. Both of my slides leave marks every time as well.
Thanks for reading and hopefully this will help others.

Looked at 10 different Paradigms last week. I don't know if they were covid builds or what but every single one of them had spackle covering staple holes in the ceiling, the walls, tares in the floor also smudged with caulk or spackle trying to hide it. Never seen anything that bad before and that came from Alliance not the dealers responsiblity. Every other rv we looked at like GD and even FR were superior in comparison. Flawless fit and finish etc. Sorry Alliance but once I seen that coming from the factory it's hard to unsee. Probably going with GD now.

We have seen stuff posted on the forums similar to that and it's so weird to see because ours was so opposite. I even thought to my self no way our rig came from the same place that rig came from. We love ours and I'm so happy we went with Alliance but I totally can see why someone wouldn't after seeing those types of rigs. It's sad.

Thanks for the link to that tool. Great find
We found the same thing, we really like the alliance but when we actually found one the deal apologized to us as we walked to it say it just came in and had not been cleaned up. What we found was not minor cleaning, island light fixture fallen and laying on the island. Kitchen drawers with no runners they just fell out in my hand. Just about all the cabinet doors needed to be adjusted, the TV was not installed level. We gave them a second chance at a different dealer and found a lot of poor quality in that one as well. Our friends who had were also looking at the same floor plan found similar issues so we both ended up buying a Montana.
We figured they had some issues during the covid thing and hopefully are back on track with there QA
Glad y’all have had good luck with your rig. I believe if you have a positive attitude about things and realize things break, come loose etc life is so much more fun. Most problems in RVs are minor it is all in how you deal with them.
Thanks again for another great video

Our tub leaked so we caulked a few years ago and that part you told of on your toilet is what happened with water coming into the bathroom. So glad you caught it before you had a leak like ours. Definitely get the latch and shade fixed. Sounds like the shower track was put in 180° out. There are supposed to be little open slats for the water in the track to drain into the shower. If the track was put in wrong it would drain on to the floor.

Inadequate tank support is something I’ve seen for many years across brands, and Alliance claims their theirs are intended to be strong enough to be used.

That all is crazy. It's always something. Tiny but annoying. When you check your RV before leaving it's so easy to miss the (normal) items. I'm so glad it didn't damage your floors. Did you have screens? Did you take them out? My biggest issue with ours is that about 50% of them just don't fit. So if you open the window bugs can come in. No help from Riverstone. It does bother me that there are so many items you had. I know it's made by humans but I think they all rush when putting it together. Some end of ok and others have little problems. Length laws for RVs are very sketchy at best ask any officer and they don't know or can't find any specific laws A couple states yes but we don't go there. Thanks for you reply
