Actually the first video on heavenly delusions I've seen on yt. It sums up the strengths and wackyness of the series very well. I did watch the show only once without paying too mich attention so I missed a few things, especially about the connection of both settings. Good work on the video essay, I enjoyed it 😇
Yeah, the scene at the end of the episode with Mimihime dreaming is what clued me into it, if I didn't think about it I probably wouldn't have noticed until the end
I know it’s been a month, but I just found your video! Wanted to let you know, the Ice Spider is one of(or both of) the two girls who were kissing. “We never taught them about love/kissing” and all that. The spider had a bracelet thing that both girls and Juichi (I think that’s his name) all had!
One thing i loved about this series is that every time a question you have is solved or mystery is revealed another 2 or 3 take its place. Really keeps you on your toes and adds so much to the uneasiness and unfamiliarity with the world
@@danyul- I remember reading that was how Tolkien wanted to write his works because he believed if you explain everything it takes the whole fantasy out of it. Season 1 ends without fully wrapping up everything but yet it developed such a dynamic and bleak landscape that I'm really looking forward to a season 2
Heavenly Delusion was such a fabulous anime. I wish it was talked about more! This story is twisting and changing, but what thing which stays the same is the duo dynamic of there trust in each other in there chaotic world.
I couldn't get into this show, never been a fan of the Phycological genre of anime after watching higurashi no naku koro ni (which is quite gory) and re:zero... yeah I'll stick to less depression endusing shows.

It never clicked with me that Usami and Hoshio where Shiro and Mimihime. This just makes episode 8 even more devastating

Yeah, always good to have something to keep interest up until the very end

Definitely deserves more love
The spider/freezing one is one of the two girls who were kissing in the first? episode, that's the pair that got with 11.
very nice review, loved this show, big fan of the manga too, hopefully more people pick both up!!
Appreciated!
Heavenly Delusion was a weird ass craze-fest, but it was so good
crazy and good indeed
