@@kelovthvamsi yes! It’s working amazing I don’t know about others but haven’t even experienced the heat issue as well maybe it’s because of the cold weather or just in general, either was it’s working perfectly.
What is your storage of your MacBook Air M2 ?
Does it get a lot of fingerprints? Can you see it on the starlight color?
@@casvanarkel the starlight color doesn’t really attract finger prints that’s more the midnight color. But i do like the midnight color

I’ve watched videos on base model M2 Air and it’s actually slower than M1 in some cases. Anyways, it’s still a great laptop, so congratulations!
it's true that in some cases I have heard people say it's slow however I don't much on it other then school work and some editing and I don't have any problems with it being slow
@@springinmayy plus you have the entire upgraded design which in my opinion makes it better than the m1 air. anyways m2 14 pro ex m2 air user here, you'll love it
Its faster in computational power but the only thing that is slow is its ssd because its unified unlike the base m1 but the difference in read and write speeds is inconceivable anyway so u should be good@@springinmayy

I did not install genshin directly on my mac I play through a software called GeForce Now it's an iCloud-based gaming software
@@springinmayy Oh yeah I know. As soon as I saw this video i did the same thing but it was a tad bit too laggy for me :(. I guess my connection isnt good enough for it.

Hi, thank you for this very satisfying unboxing and set up. What do you think of the M2 after using it for a few days ? I’m currently hesitating between the m1 and the m2 :(
I honestly love it! I was also hesitant this is my first ever MacBook so everything was very satisfying to me and it’s super fast although it does get a little heated during some video editing and uploading but nothing too bad. I can’t compare it to the M1 because I’ve never used it but the M2 is supposed to have a better performance. If your looking to save money then I suggest looking into the M1 or if money is not a problem and your look for a slightly better MacBook then the M2 should be a good option too. It’s all gonna depend on what your gonna use it for. But I would recommend the M2 air it’s really pretty and I haven’t found one problem with it so far. I hope this was helpful!!

I can feel you 🥲. I just ordered a m2 air 16 gb a week back. I was hesitant at first but I decided that all the little upgrades like brightness , design, magsafe, the chip itself is worth the extra.
If you don't mind spending a little more , get the m2
If you are on tight budget get the m1.
@@jaspereon9020 thank you for the feedback. I heard there was a problem with the M2 tho I can't really explain it as it's too complicated for me ? Also for the budget issue, I'll just buy it in the US and have it sent to me as the prices have a 200€ gap
Hello, you should surely go for the m2 version as the M2 is up to 25% faster and efficient than M1 and the read speeds on their drives is significantly faster with more display area and slimmer bezels and a nice camera but if you are in a budget below $800 then you can get the m1 that’s still a nice laptop for normal work and it can also handle 4K edits and pro stuff pretty well, you can find an m1 for cheap on Apple and even cheaper on bestbuy or Walmart.
I’m a student and I need something this year and I was looking at laptops and I think I’ll get the M1 MacBook Air and the only reason that I’m getting that 1 is Bcz it’s on sale for 950€

is it difficult to play genshin on mac? do you keyboard while playing or just use the trackpad only?
no, it's not difficult but I do use a mouse or keyboard sometimes if I'm playing on my desk otherwise I just use the macs keyboard and trackpad.

What do you Think of the MBA after two months, I really want to get it but my budget will only allow me to get the base model and I heard they were problems with the 8/256gb speed and heating.
Hello sorry about the late response but it's been working wonderfully for me the last 3 months I really love it It's my first MB so I can't really compare it to the other models.
There is some heating when uploading videos from the editing software to the drive but other then that there is no issue
I have heard many great things about the base model and that it isn't that different from the M2.

Hi!! sorry about the late response. I can't really say if genshin runs well on the m2 or m1 MacBooks because I play it on cloud-based gaming software. I have the 8-Core CPU, 8-Core GPU, and 8GB Unified Memory, with the 256GB SSD Storage on my MacBook air and it's been very good at running video editing, and heavy uploads. I don't use monitors but I'm planning on buying one soon and I think I might be buying the HP - 21.5" IPS LED Full HD FreeSync Monitor. I have seen a lot of people use that type of monitor with their macs so I'm supposing that it's good. I can't really recommend you anything I'm by no being an expert, this is just my review of things that I have tried. @@Slayer2ez It really depends on what you’re going to use it for, if you only want to play Genshin Impact with 4K video editing and normal work then 8gb and 256gb will be enough for you but if you are planning on to play some more games for example windows based games or using parallels or anything with 3D design then you should at least get 16gb with 512ssd along with the 10 core gpu version, other than that for basic gaming and everything this is a pretty amazing laptop and you can’t take the advantage of 120hz as it doesn’t have a 120 display but it will give you 120hz on your monitor.

Also i meant mac pro version use 120 hz maybe it worth to get coz of that but i do not do 3 d editing and not sure about future i just editing my videos from games and real life, it capturing on logitech webcam

@@Slayer2ez Yw, Yes upgrading to 512 won’t give you a major boost in games but it’s comes handy when you do edits or use editing apps , as the 256 have 40% slower read and write speeds, Macs are not intended for gaming but if your budget allows you then you can go for pro they are always the best deals and they can run games on pretty good settings when played at 1080p , giving you on average 50-60 FPS for base models , you will need to run most of the games using parallels as only few are available natively on macs including Shadow of tomb raider and RE 8 but still if you don’t plan to do heavy editing or 3D work then buy the 8+216 and get a value console like Xbox series s it will be still cheaper than the whole mac setup and u can easily play games at 4K. And Sony Vegas isn’t yet compatible with macs and it doesn’t work even with parallels, Adobe costs some money, you can try luma fusion for basic edits or Final Cut Pro for professional edits. Final Cut Pro is by far the best editing app yet. So it depends on your needs , Final Cut Pro is not really cheap so always look for alternatives. Hi, does it overeat a lot when doing basic tasks. RUclips, streaming movies and (if you're a student too) doing homework? I know it doesn't have a fan so I'm sure it can have a tendency to get warm.
Hello, I'm using MBA M2 16gb/256gb mainly using for Java software development and I can assure you it will run just fine it's amazing device and you won't find any problem when doing some basic tasks!!

for basic tasks definitely no, but when you play games or push it more it starts to get a little warm, but definitely not too noticeable. It rarely gets to a point where you can actually feel how hot it is on your lap and need to take it off.
Girl, is that really starlight? I also got mine in starlight and it looks plain like silver.
Ikkk it's so hard to tell because in some lighting it looks sliver, but it's not. I personally like the color

Hey! Was wondering like in Windows they have Microsoft office for presentations and word documents... What alternatives does Mac have? I have always had Windows and was deciding to have a Macbook.
Microsoft office is also available on macs and works better on macs then on windows.

yeah, what they said! int he store where i bought my macbook air m2, they asked if i want to get my own microsoft acc, and i figured i didnt have one of my own yet so i purchased an account from them, it costed more money but it was a lifetime subscription so its worth it! My tip when mking an acc is to just lie about your age and make it above 18 (if ur a minor) so that you wont encounter problems like that annoying captcha 'prove you are not a robot' tests.

Hii, I've just gotten the MacBook 13 M2 . Even though I do not play genshin, I wanted to download roblox but at the store they told me strictly not to download any games, since it's only supposed to be used for office purposes. Are you experiencing any issues while gaming? And if so, what kind of issues do you encounter?

Dumbest thing I have heard. It is not strictly for office purposes. It’s a computer and you use it for what you want. Probably by now you have already figured it out though

Yes, the computer has a good processor, but since the computer does not have a fan / air outlet to cool itself, the computer may get hot and the heating of the computer will deteriorate the game quality, the game may lag after a while
is playing genshin on the macbook safe?
I'm not sure if downloading genshin on mac is safe or not. I have genshin on 'Geforce Now' it's a cloud base gaming service and you get 1 hour of free gaming every time you play or you could pay and have longer gaming sessions. It's pretty safe and I recommend it.
Yes it’s safe because It’s the same game that you find in your mobile phone as the m2 chipset is a ARM based chip so that means it’s just a really big and powerful version of your phones chip, it’s more efficient than the desktop based chips and you can easily run some beefy applications on it.

it's really simple just download Geforce off their website and login it and genshin should pop up with a bunch of other games if not just look it up and it should show up
I’m planning to go in college for the year 2023-2024 , and I want a MacBook bc I will focus my studies on data. I would like to know if the Mb air m2 is enough or I have to take a different model ?
I'm also going to college for the year 2023, but so far this Mac air has been great for all kinda of school work. If you could maybe try waiting until apple releases a new MacBook for 2023 and see if it's better compare to the 2022 models. Or you could just buy the 2022 models after they release the 2023 bc they might be a little cheaper.
