Absolutely love mine. 62k miles and a daily driver. Super reliable and more power than ill ever need. Its the perfect car for me. Standard maintenance has been a little pricey but nothing shocking, and yea i gotta plan around my premium fuel bills but its very manageable. Other than that its been love at first sight.
In the S model there are 2 extra driver seat adjusters, they control the tightness of the thigh and body bolsters. I'm bigger (wider) than you, and have lived with this car for over 10 years by setting them at their widest...
I have a 2014 Q60S with a six speed manual and there is absolutely no lag when you hit the gas. Mine is a two wheel drive Q60S. Not sure how an AWD with an auto would be. As for the seats, they are perfect, like the ones in my 2004 350Z. In fact, that is one of the reasons why I have both a 2004 350Z and now a 2014 Q60S. If that is an "S" variant, the seats have 12 way adjustment. Even the bolsters are adjustable. I will say that I am 5'8 at 155 lbs and very athletic, so I am probably not as 'wide' as most Americans in the butt. All I know is that the seats in my Q60S and my 350Z fit me perfectly and do not feel at all tight. I looked at Audi, BMW and the Genesis and to be frank, I would take this or a 370Z over any of those. Plus Nissan / Infiniti cars are far more reliable in my experience. I will tell you that the 370Z is a LOT quicker. This Infiniti is pretty much the same in acceleration as my older 2004 350Z. Of course, it is something like 500 lbs heavier then the 370Z. For me, this car just plain does it all. But it is not for everyone. If you are big, this may not be a good choice. A friend I have at the gym is 6'4" at 220 lbs and he can't fit well in this car or my Z.
You hit the nail right on the head nissan/ infiniti are very reliable that's all I've owned since high school from the 2004 G35 coupe to the 2013 G37s coupe to the 2016 370z touring sport Tech to now 2018 Q50 Red Sport 400
@@andre26261095 You have had some nice cars. I'd love a new Q60 Redsport coupe. I read that they were talking of offering a manual in that car. Automatics are better for 0-60, but I have found that I can go a lot faster on the twisty turn stuff with a manual. In fact, all my cars, the 1990 5.0L Mustang sedan, the 2004 Nissan 350Z and the 2014 Infiniti Q60S are all manual shift. Part has to do with the incredibly bad luck I have had with automatic transmissions in both personal and a lot of company vehicles. Another thing I know about the Nissan V6 in the Z or the Infiniti is that you will not keep that engine performing like new unless you change the oil at 3K miles with something like Mobil 1. I have seen several engines apart and although they run with 5 - 7K oil changes, they develop this brown varnish on stuff and it plugs those passages for the valve system causing the variable valve timing to not work properly. Long oil change intervals can also cause sludge to build up in the engines which is one of the reasons for oil consumption in the Z and the Infiniti. It plugs oil return holes and allows the PCV system to suck up oil. My 04 Z has never used oil nor has my 2014 Q60S but I have never left the oil in for more then 3K miles. It is cheaper and easier to replace the oil a little more often then to have to tear down an engine. Oh, get a metal engine shield with an oil drain door. Makes oil changes a LOT easier then having to remove that original plastic engine shield. They make them for the G35, 350Z, G37 370Z and Q60. I got one for both my 350Z and Q60S.
Just got a g37 6mt. Did It right this time. My g35 auto is a nice car but ill be selling it like its yesterdays thing. However I think eventually auto/manual cars will become so good that people wont mind switching over to them. Its just that currently you have to buy a really expensive car to get an auto/manual that has nice fast crisp shifts. I'll probably switch back to an automatic when I'm in my 50s and just wanna cruise but right now im in my early 30s and I've never been more excited about driving. Not to mention my g37 is lowered on bc coil overs with an exhaust. All I need now are some more air mods and aftermarket sway bars and it will be quite the little canyon machine. My g35 was stock and these cars handle really good stock in my opinion. Lowered on decent quality coil overs its crazy how much they grip. My G37 has 177 k miles . newish clutch.. the only issue is a possible 5th gear light grind unless I shift slowly into 5th. Syncros probably? Yes I realize it could be my teqnique but that's the only gear im regularly grinding. Oh well I love this car so fucking much ill just get a new transmission dropped in it if I need to.
My 2014 does not lag at all. But it depends on which of the three drive modes you use. In normal mode, it is a little more relaxed. But in sport mode, using the paddle shifters and manually shifting it, the thing is very positive. Only thing is that I don't think all of these Q60's have that feature. Mine is a Q60S without AWD. I'm told regular Q60's don't have paddle shifters.

love that engine sound
Bmw= money pit, audi had many issues with the carbon build up within the price range of a q60 so you better of with infiniti
i would love to know why your opinions should count.....it’s not every day that beaver cleaver reviews automobiles....
Trunk hight truly sucks. I can’t get my small 🔊 box with only one little 10” speaker in it
Wow, they still lag? my 2008 g37 lags bad.

I have a 2008 G37S 5A and I added Injen short-ram intakes. reduced the lag, AND they sound great, too!
Elon musk
seems to cramp like a mustang.
not the spaciest car that's for sure
It is classy, though. I still get compliments on my 2008.
