What I don't get is why he didn't use the dedicated SNOW MODE? It dampens the throttle for snow and also creates a 50/50 front/rear split when moving from a standstill to 12 mph. It would have helped tremendously, I have the same exact spec'd car but the 2013 G37xS and the SNOW button helps a lot!
Can you guys please include subtitles when Andrej speaks Russian :) It would clear things up for people ;) Thumbs up if you agree :) -btw. great videos!
Moby Dick Who are you to judge? If you need to talk about the problems you are facing in your life I'm here for you. There is no need to share your frustrations in replies to people's comments. This suggestion was not intended for me, it was intended for many others who might have trouble understanding and believe me this does not define anybody an idiot! SMILE it get's better!
I have to agree with Mark Jones. There was little to no real information about the car's AWD systems, and barely any mention of the Buick at all... I love your channel, but this video was - respectfully- a miss.
Why would you not document and provide footage of the descent? It seems like the decent would be equally challenging, and gauge how the various vehicles in this series perform...
5:45 The Infiniti G37 is identical to the Nissan Skyline 370GT just different badging, and somewhat different safety equipment for the two different markets.
Great video, as always, thnx guys. But Roman, please! don't call winter tires "snow tires", since it's not only about the snow, I'm 100% sure you are well aware about..
To actual compare the AWD systems, I think you needed to have the same size wheels and identical tires. This is more of a wheel size \ tire test VS an AWD test. I know you guys aren’t really big time, but maybe next time the Tire Rack can help out so you don’t appear so foolish.
Cool test, but really should do a comparison with some good winter tires to show the difference to be fair don't you think? How well did the car's systems help recover the car on that icy hairpin corner? The short wheel base doesn't help much with the rear end wanting to come around on you much also. You guys have almost as much snow as we do! Let me know when you hit -40...eh? Your Russian copilot is awesome! Best show in a long time for me. Thanks.
Like your videos. Have to disagree on this one. My 2010 G37X with traction control, snow tires, snow mode and ability to put into sport for downshifting is a true sure footed mountain goat. I feel confident at speed, in the corners and through acceleration in conditions that would leave similar vehicles spun out or limping down the shoulder.
Great videos! Now humor me and do one on the 2014 Dodge Charger RT with AWD. I can't find anyone that has done an in depth review on that system yet! Thanks and keep the great videos coming! :)
In general I love your videos but in these two comparisons you actually did mash up the cars more than you talked about the AWD systems. There were practically no details on the type of AWD in either car or how either system distributes power to the wheels. It was an entertaining video but by no means a useful comparison.
They demonstrate very well how dated the controls are in the more expensive car. In the Buick, he just tells you it is -5. In this car, he fiddles around with the controls and after 5 seconds, he says it is 0. For a car that is much cheaper than the Infiniti (that also handles better in the snow - they never said it was "getting dicey" in the Buick yesterday) I think I might get the Buick.
Yes it use the regular attesa which is a traction control with VDC mainly RWD and a single central differential "torque sensing" the power split about slippeage because JDM this car is the Skyline and the EX37 is the skyline Crossover, the GTR uses Attesa-ETS it's different because the GTR transmission is not behind the engine it's in the back of the car and uses electronically controled viscous differentials to assure gradually programmed levels of locking depending on wheel spin and steering angle, vehicle speed, and does even works with the brakes and suspension dampening.
I personally like the Regal's interior more; Infiniti has been using this dash layout for awhile and it just looks plain dated. Contrast that to the Regal which compared to the pre-facelift model is night & day. The Nissan ATTESA system might be a sportier AWD but the Buick uses the Haldex gen.4 unit. On the sportier GS it even has a limited slip diff in the rear axle. Volvo owners would know how good the Haldex unit is in snow traction. Infiniti has always been a letdown for me. The fact they think they can charge Mercedes money for a car nearly 7 years old is kind of ridiculous. The Buick is slightly better, but the Regal is ~$4k overpriced. At ~$36,000 would be a better asking price for a Regal.
I test drove the regal (2013), the interior looked really cheap to me in comparison to the G37 I test drove. One day I'll get myself a g37....one day 💜
While watching this video I was thinking about russian speaking Andre, and your guest Emme Hall. I thought that you could invite Анастасия Трегубова. She is incredibly charming, so her car reviews are incredibly cool - check her videos -> ruclips.net/user/anastasiatrgubovavideos
lol the average scene lasts about 5 seconds, alot were less than or equal to 3 secsonds...its not noticable, but when you pay attention its annoying. lol we have short attention spans
This video wasn't really that great. They didn't talk about the traction between both cars, they didn't drive the regal (at least they didn't show it), and they kept going on and on about things that had nothing to do with performance in the snow.
Who would pay 52 for that we all can name so many cars cheaper and better like the Camaro Zl1 if u pay 10000 more or the cts coupe or the Hyundai Genesis coupe or a truck but not this no not for that much
Braving this extreme weather to bring a review video for us is really appreciated.

I kinda miss the old intro. Been a LONG time since I went back to rewatch an old TFL episode, I’d almost forgotten it!

@12:30 (If you turn on the subtitles) "I'm also knew more garbadge to know my best igloo bitchin"
Did you guys use the snow mode on the Q60?
he was like "washing fluid is frozen, we should put vodka" andrey was like "i rather put vodka in me than a car" lol
It would be great if you could include subtitles when andrej speaks please , love the show keep up the good work thanks in advance
I have to agree with Mark Jones. There was little to no real information about the car's AWD systems, and barely any mention of the Buick at all... I love your channel, but this video was - respectfully- a miss.
The suspense on those hills!
What do you mean the Q60 does not sound raspy or loud!!! It really sounded like it to me.
love that guy! keep him in all other videos! (im learning a new language)
I don't know Russian but I understood everything Andre said.
Why would you not document and provide footage of the descent? It seems like the decent would be equally challenging, and gauge how the various vehicles in this series perform...
If you're doing a VS between 2 awd cars in snowy conditions, make sure you use the same exact tires and the same wheel size.
Very good review. Don't change the format, regardless of some of the comments below - it is different, interesting and unique!
Haha andre needs subtitles!!!!
I thought g37 was 370z. Q looks like a g37 now, nice
I love your videos but Andre speaking in Russian aggravates me :/
It sounds like the GT-R without the V6TT but isn't it a skyline in Japan? (I know it wouldn't be a skyline GT-R)
5:45 The Infiniti G37 is identical to the Nissan Skyline 370GT just different badging, and somewhat different safety equipment for the two different markets.
its cool that Andre is 180cm tall and Russian , as all three aspects (name, height, origin) apply to me too.
wasn't this the first car you guys reviewed way back when you started to review cars?
A Bucik Regal Turbo?
Poor old André I guess he will get the balme for this spello?
Great video, as always, thnx guys. But Roman, please! don't call winter tires "snow tires", since it's not only about the snow, I'm 100% sure you are well aware about..

If you had your choice of cars and tires for that area what would they be?
Subaru outback with bridestone blizzaks

the person behind you at 12:33 did not seem happy
Wow 52K for that. That's insane ..
That russian guy made this fun to watch. And why is this a Q60 and not a g37x I didn't notice any differences from watching this
Maybe make a similar video with Leaf and electric Focus, or with Prius.
Great videos! Now humor me and do one on the 2014 Dodge Charger RT with AWD. I can't find anyone that has done an in depth review on that system yet! Thanks and keep the great videos coming! :)

That's hilarious. The buick is not even comparable to the infiniti.
Random Russian dude? Sure...why not...
машина отличная ,местность красивая
SUBARU BRZ!!!!
I don't see the point in doing a test without winter tires on.
Is it attessa awd from the gtr and fx?
Many nissans use different versions of it. The GTR does use it but it's not the same.
HE speaks English fine but chooses not to just for the movies.
Thumbs Up for even attempting this foolish test.
Youguys wrote Bucik in the into rather than Buick 😂
"having said that"... :D
Get snow tires. Got it.
I like the Infiniti but I would go with a SUV for more room or even Volvo or Audi
Subaru BRZ would be fun to watch!
But it's rear wheel drive.
y2kbug77 That's why I said it would be fun.
Roman, get a pair of gloves, as for Andre the Russian thrives in cold weather, he msut have been born in Siberia.
Really? The Q60 doesn't have a heated steering wheel? '04 Nissan Maxima has a heated steering wheel. That's weird.

Celina Gallegos
I'd pocket my money and save up for a few more paychecks for an IS350. But everyone's taste is different.
Trades46 I haven't test driven the IS350, but I'll add that to my list.
Can you just call it Loveland Pass?
booooring

lol check out captions @ 10:16
You spelt buick wrong on the intro
lol the average scene lasts about 5 seconds, alot were less than or equal to 3 secsonds...its not noticable, but when you pay attention its annoying. lol we have short attention spans
cool
was tyhis like a cars and coffee review?? I felt like this video had no direction. wheres the punchline???
Was this even an X model? I didn’t an X on the back, only an S. And why turn off the Traction Control? Makes no sense.
Q60 gets the awd badge instead of X
This video wasn't really that great. They didn't talk about the traction between both cars, they didn't drive the regal (at least they didn't show it), and they kept going on and on about things that had nothing to do with performance in the snow.
I know it's funny to have Andre speak Russian, but it gets old - English please! otherwise great video!
I speak russian and that andrey dude is not funny at all
Stop with the danger music
you closed a frameless window by the window? Shame, I say... Oh... and you're only allowed to say "having said that" 1 time in a review
ruski boy lol vodka
This video was pointless. Nothing was proved or tested. Commentary from the Russian was funny lol
Lol BUCIK REGAL
Who would pay 52 for that we all can name so many cars cheaper and better like the Camaro Zl1 if u pay 10000 more or the cts coupe or the Hyundai Genesis coupe or a truck but not this no not for that much
A lot of people do since they sell like crazy.
Dheyaa100 reliability, not an american crap
regal turbo..not GS
