While the yacht probably isn't furnished with Ikea items, it does give off a Scandinavian vibe. I wouldn't be surprised if the owner has some Scandinavian roots.
@@aexetan2769 I was thinking just the same. For me as a dane, the oak floors, the bright colors, the handmade Hans Wegner wishbone chairs around the dining table, and other scandinavian furnitures makes the interior of this yacht feel very homey ( and not very boatlike ) to me.
The owner might be the CEO of Ikea!

A minimalist masterpiece. This is my style. I know not for everyone, but it is beautiful to me. No distractions, clean lines. Perfect.
I am not a minimalist so it seemed a bit lacking for "my" taste. I kept envisioning a person that owns a hardwood floor company that saved every scrap from every job, bought a hull and was in the midst of a 15 year project to fit it out himself.
A relief and a treat for the minimalists I'm sure. I was really hoping for a mirror wave in one of those really long shots. 😂 Great job as usual Nick!
yeah, it was bothering me that it didn't seem like they could find a piece of flooring longer than 4 feet. It might be OCD, but I couldn't stop seeing it.
I agree. So many ends in the flooring especially in the main saloon. I like well executed functional minimalism but those ends hurt my eye.
You have to admire a guy who wants his yacht to be exactly what he wants, and doesn't care what it does to the resale value. I join the commenters who don't care for the style, but kudos to the owner for not only having "eff you" money, but spending it in an "eff you" way.
Personally I like all the oak floors and built ins. Same thing with the bathrooms and that white marble, sort of a timeless look. All you really need to do is paint(or maybe texture wallpaper) the interior walls a more cream color, new soft furniture with some personality, rugs with some color, hang some cool art pieces with color throughout the boat, wouldn't be that hard to redecorate, no major construction, boat wouldn't be out of commission forever either.
Which is fine until you want to sell. Much smaller catchment.
By far one of the best interiors I've seen in a long, long time! So smooth, so comfortable, so relaxing. Absolutely perfect! And a great tour as always. Thanks Nick!

Nick said it several times that this is the way this particular owner wanted it... If you buy it, you clearly can set it up the way you like it.
I find it to be very clean and crisp with minimal maintenance.

I really like the inside. Most super yachts are dawned out in expensive furnishings that cost a few million. But his is back to basics and it comes over so well. It looks more homely and inviting. You don't have that fear of breaking something that you could never afford to pay for. Thank you so much Nick for taking us on a tour of her

I love this interior. Maybe because I'm Swedish.. It looks calm, and comforting.
By far one of the best. Loved the design without the fuss, extravagance and unnecessary bling of some of the others. Wonderful.
Such a BEAUTIFUL and well thought-of vessel. We have seen so many with your eyes, Nick, but this one surpasses all. I am sure that I have not seen anything like this one. Some boats have smart design elements and decent spaces for the guest areas but forget about the crew that lives for weeks on the vessel, but not this one. From the Scandinavian minimalist design, the serenity of the guest cabins and internal spaces, the smart use of the outdoor spaces for boosting guests' experience, the galley space, the crew/engineering areas and space, the equipment... all of these scream out a well thought design. THANK YOU for this priviledge and kudos to the desingers/builders for such a jewel!!!

Very clean lines. Amazing amount of room. No unnecessary "frou-frou", but still looks comfortable. Everything gets stowed away, and you don't know it's there until you need it. Not everyone needs granite and marble. This would be a yacht for me.

I really like the minimalist look, it suits me. It all looks very accessible and practical allowing for full enjoyment. I like the boats where the crew cabins are of guest quality, really speaks highly of the owner, but this one goes above and beyond with private showers and general area. 👍 Great tour as always, really enjoying this channel!

Long time lurker, first time I’m compelled to comment. FINALLY an interior I like. Modern and uncluttered, so it unclutters the mind. What should draw the attention is the beautiful environments this yacht will be in anyway.

I love the wood everywhere. The boat is a blank canvas and once you’ve put your artwork up then it’s yours to enjoy.
I’ve always liked, but could never afford, Danish/Swedish furniture (I don’t mean IKEA), with its minimalist sensibilities, stylish, functional, clutter free. My first impression of this yacht was that it looks like a high-end apartment or boutique hotel with funky porthole windows. Just when you think these boats are all about showing off your wealth, we get an example showing restraint. Thanks Nick for keeping us guessing what you’ll bring us next.

The minimalist style and relaxing ambiance of the boat was reflected in your commentary performance, did notice your pace change between inside and out.

Great layout, I have often wondered why more designers don't set up the lower decks like this so that the crew are not hauling laundry et al up and down the stairs, and with the minimalist style, you could turn this almost blank canvas into what you want. A real modern super yacht, very nicely shown to us, thanks Aquaholic, as always.

I would be very surprised if the owner wasn't Scandinavian in some way - as someone from Denmark this feels very much like home. The chairs, the floors, the door handles, faucets. Very nice
As much as I can appreciate the "theme" you mention, it feels like they haven't finished decorating. Relaxing, "zen" etc., doesn't need to be empty and plain. This is definitely not my style.

A minimalist 115 coastal cruiser is such a juxtaposition philosophers should write about it, or make a tik-tok dance I don't know. A wonderful review as per. That is the nicest bow arrangement I have ever seen.
Obviously this design is wonderful to some and hateful to others. I love it.
Another great tour Nick, i presume the boss of IKEA owns it.
As others have said, everything loos very corporate, with the main saloon area being very 'waiting-room'-esque... The rest looks a cross between an office suite and a semi-furnished show-house. It's so minimalist, it's hard to imagine more conventional decor. Pretty well set up in terms of layout, though and the crew space looks quite sensible.
I did like the cunning segue into the Mirror Wave, and I'm delighted at how consistent this essential feature has been, lately!

The minimalist look works well from the perspective of offering a blank canvas for a review and imagining personalisation. A little bit of colour would go a long way for me.

Style is very subjective of course; and often I feel boats' interiors are too embellished with glitz, but this one is so minimalist as to luck unfinished, unused and quite unwelcoming. A little Italian style mixed with a little Kelly Hoppen would suit me very well.

I was sold on this yacht from the moment you walked into the salon, dining area was great, the master cabin and ensuite great, lower deck superb, Pullman's in the single bunk cabins, were all very nice. Then you went up the steps to the pilot house and I realized it was just a bi-deck. And my heart sank. If this had been a tri-deck I'd be contacting Horizon for an appointment. Great video as always Nick, thank you.
Yes the styling is not robust but see it as relaxing, and as for the helm position I love it. The helm should have that separate space if the boat size & design allows, if someone does not the layout or styling then just say not to my liking, however a lovely boat. This man puts in a lot of effort to produce these videos. A little respect goes a long way. Keep up the top work shippers.

Congrats to the guy for not caring what others think. All that matters is what you like. With this interior, it seems it wouldn't take long or cost much to re-do the interior. For me, I'd do a classic look with woods and keep it simple, too. No fancy artwork,no big wine storage, runners if needed, no carpet, Nice interior but no keeping up with the Jones crap.

The owner wanted nothing fancy, clutter free. He's paying the bills so what he want he gets, even if the viewers of Nicks video dont like it. Its a not for me but the quality of the boat, decor and style is high spec.

There seems to be a lack of imagination even the new ones are just interior design variations .
In general im not sure if its the yacht designers or owners with the lack of imagination . .

I recently commented that yachts with impressive external sound systems might be a nuisance in port, but Nick reassured me that most owners of luxury yachts are well-behaved. Then we have this boat with an external cinema! I would imagine that anyone moored nearby would be affected by the large screen erected in the bow, even if earbuds were used for sound. If they used the usual surround sound system, it must be quite something. Nordic Noir, anyone?

Wonderful tour Nick, thank you. The interior leaves much to be desired though I did like the color of the wood. Should one like minimalist/Zen/Ikea style, this yacht is right up their ally.
Always good to do your thing with your boat. But the First thing I tought when the door opens that it was a lobby from a hotel. Not my thing, but on the other hand I can only dream having a boat. 😊

You’re right, this does look like my doctor’s office, nice but very utilitarian…..it’s not the yacht but the décor and furniture. Nice view as usual Nick…..lol ….couldn’t live in a doctors office though 😊
