It is not in tremendous condition at all. The engineering spaces were a mess, and the woodwork had many nicks and scratches. It was in average condition and need of an interior refit. Given the condition of the engine room and technical areas, I would take a very close look at maintenance records.
But Nick, as always, did a great tour.

Wow!! I'm amazed at the presence this vessel exudes and the quality materials of choice and the elegance and luxurious arrangement of spaces in it.
Even the crew quarters scream luxury!
Most impressive is that it is already a 15 years old ship, yet it looks pretty much sparkling new.
Although some of that can be chalked down to above-standard maintenance, you need to have fine materials and finishes for starters in order to keep them looking this good.
BENETTI doesn't disappoints, I've learned: with this yacht builder you will get your money's worth in the performance package, in unusually luxurious appointments and finishes, or in attention gathering designs and/or amenities, and sometimes a combination of all the above.
That's, IMHO, is the name of the game in the yacht industry: get the customer's perception that he/she is getting back his/her investment value.
Many other builders should look at a page or two from BENETTI's book.
Thank you so much for covering this remarkable, truly beautiful yacht in your unique style, and kudos to its current broker for its generosity in allowing this to happen.

So here , 7 crew , Capt = Engineer + chef , just 4 to keep a lot of folks sorted . Do not really see decent laundry areas , unless some are stored for use . and the kitchen while nice , is a bit small for all the guests and crew !

Lovely yacht. But I don't think I'd want my captain mixing with the crew like that. I'd want him to have accommodation more in keeping with his status on the vessel. Thanks for showing us round...
At first glance it looks very top heavy. Where is its centre of gravity at? And the very top deck has so much kit on it making it even higher plus a jacuzzi. No doubt it is a stunning boat with a fab interior but that is no good if it topples over.
It does look pretty blocky. Would be interesting to see the side-on design drawing.

I disagree. I think the stairs leading below in the middle of the floor plan is a tremendous and awkward waste of space. Also, I think the furniture in the salon is incredibly tacky. I love everything else.

I don’t share everyone’s admiration. An old-fashioned yacht with a typical 2000s heavy interior. The abundance of "mahogany" and red velvet made my eyes dazzle. The yacht is suitable for an owner 50+. I must admit that the condition of the teak deck is satisfactory and better than that of yachts previously presented on the channel of these years. Although for this price, it's probably a good deal.
Pure class. Right down to the Woodford Reserve bourbon. Wish I had €7.5 Million...and another €7.5 Million to live on her for 20 years.
Any minute now Sophie Loren will guide out for a glass of 🥂 champagne.
I find the wood abit dark but the cream carpets and ceilings lift it. But in 2009 that was the style. But having said that the woodwork is amazing beautiful carved. Like the wine cellar in the guest bedroom communal hall 😊.
She a lovely Lady of the Sea classy but comfortable. Great tour Nick.
Really showing her age. She reminds me of a Broward, but then again, all of them were kind of copying each other. Hargrave was copying Broward,(who was owned by the Denison family. The owner of Denison Yachting, Bob Denison is the grandson of Frank Denison who owned Broward Yachts) Broward invented the country kitchen concept that was used on Broward and Hargrave yachts. Denison was copying Benetti in the layout of cabins and making yachts around 100 to 120'. That was the sweet spot for selling yachts since owmers in the 90's were wanting bigger yachts than the normal 85 to 90' that was the standard Med and Bahamas cruiser.
The first yacht I 3ver worked on and crossed the Atlantic on, was a Benetti 120. We had some rough areas and she handled it well. The owmer had wanted to come and we provisioned for him amd the family. That was 2 adult,children with their girlfriends amd then a younger child with a nanny. She was treated as family,and ate with them. We could😂let the foodmgo,to,waste so we ate very well that trip. Filet Mignon, caviar, lobster, king crab legs. There were some stuff I didn't eat, but the stuff we had was amazing. I had a meat lolipop formthe first time ever. I crave them to this day. And the smell of wood, leather, whiskey and cuban cigars. That defined that boat.
@ 7:00 for being such a grand very beautiful VIP state room people love Netflix they love to watch TV but I noticed that the TV is so small but then I thought about how the screen is on this pocket camera dji osmo pocket 3 the screen swivels so when you’re not watching TV the screen is vertical but then when you’re watching it you just flip it around like on this pocket camera and you got a third more viewing screen for the same amount of footprint that your TV is mounted to so you don’t have to worry aboutanything you just lift the TV when you wanna see it.
Hi Nick merry Christmas to you love the boat but for me i think the dark wood and marble is better suited to classic sailing boats but that’s just me, it’s like I’ve said a beautiful wonderful boat but needs a little upgrade

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful, i love almost everything about this yacht except one point, why in the owners cabin is the bed facing inboard and not the fabulous windows ?
The unique selling point of this is that the engineering room had a computer running Windows XP, I loved that operating system. Merry Christmas to you and yours Nick. Looking forward to the Christmas playlist I saw earlier. 🎉👍

On the sundeck, I would install a hardtop and on top of that hardtop I would have solar panels so that you don’t have to run the generators at night when you’re sleeping so you’re gonna have a silent night and of course you would have to install battery packs all that you really wonder if it’s worth the money but the concept is in newer boats.. Yachts, I should say
Almost perfect, but why in the owners cabin is the bed not facing the windows, that would niggle me a little, could learn to live with it though.
That's a huge yacht, beautiful and obviously very loved by her owners and crew. The only issue I have with her, and this...I think...is pretty standard for a boat of her size, it's her top end speed. I would want a boat that could do 30+ knots if needed to out run a storm to a safe harbor. Big ocean waves have taken down large naval vessels and scare the heck out me.
what's the whiskey brand at the bar? I know i've seen it before but its driving me crazy...

A great yacht from Benetti, nice layout and loads of space. I personally love the dark wood on yachts and this looks great, nice condition to say it is 14 years old. Great tour Nick thank you for this one and all the videos this year. Looking forward to the delights you will bring us next year. I had a bird with sticky draws years ago.
Ok. A week or two ago a subscriber commented that the ship you had just done a video on was not enough boat for the 22 million or some large number, you commented on his thread asking if he was a super yacht broker and I commented that A...it was a brand new yacht with no depreciation and B...that if you were to buy a boat, even a newly renovated from the bilges up, you could get a larger and nicely kitted out ship for less than half the cost.
I came to that conclusion because I am an Aquaholic-aholic who actually listens to you when you record your videos. You are the one who said it was possible to get more boat for less if you are willing to buy a used boat that is 10 years or more old.
This boat is a great example of a boat with comparable amenities and roughly the same size for less than half the price. To me, that would mean the 22 or 17 or whatever millions dollars it was for the boat in question is too much. Because IF I had 22 million pounds to spend on a ship I would the biggest one that money would allow.
So, if I ever come into that kinda cash I'll be in touch with you and pay for your assistance in finding myself the best bang for the buck.
And one more thing...

Thats an awful lot of boat for €7.5m. Nice layout, although I think its a shame the owners bed faces into the boat and not forward so you coud sit up in bed and look out across the bow. Layout is great and that Skylounge looked very appealing. Going to be a hard job picking favourites this year - you've got to tour some great boats in 2023.
