Great sports boat for just having fun on a day trip! But unsuitable for me. For me, a walkaroud design is important and sliding port and starboard doors for easy mooring. A good place to stay overnight below deck is also important to me
Imwould ,ove to have that as a tender on Flexplorer or a Lynx toy carrier in addition to my Bering 125. On,y question though John is will you be on the main yacht or the toy carrier? I guess it depends on where your family would want to stay...oh and me winning the lotto when it's above a couple hundred million or a billion again.
The 500R delivers 50 more horsepower and 10% higher torque than the 450R model.
At 40 knots, roughly 500 km range. ( total gas 885 liters and 20% reserve).
My bad, 500 : 2 ( engines) = 250 km range
Great looking boat, would love to own one. Sleek aluminum boat, more luxury or fancy race car vs SUV type boats from Wooldridge, Duckwork, Kingfisher, Allied...etc. Where is the kitchenette and enclosed head/shower - that looks like I could do my business over the side
Way overpriced for what you get and all that shinny aluminum in the sun, and the head is a joke!

Is the price tag for twin 500s? If it is for twin 300s then a Nimbus C11 might be more attractive.

Twin 300’s is a cheaper boat, more fuel efficient but will still do 50 knots. Can’t compare these to mass production boats anyway as theyre so bespoke and are entirely handmade. The Viggo boats really are excellent sea boats and beautifully made. Great review !
io want this one. i was very impressed by the viggo c8 aswell as the anytec 868, cab or not. this is a whole other level.

My overall evaluation of boats/yachts are 1. What is it designed to do? 2. Does it do that? 3. What else can it do? and 4. What does it do to differentiate from it competitors and how much $?

My boss, who's from Goteborg, has a suped-up Viggo - it must be the C8 because its a bit smaller than this - and it goes like stink! At the same time, it's a great day boat for 4 friends, just hold on tight if you're in the rear seats and you're going for it.

You don't want those. Still lots of teething troubles. Put two Mercury V10 400's on this boat if you want it to be more economical.
Half a mil and no toilet or sleeping berth or fishing equipment or anything I might want. Not my cup of tea..
there's a toilet option. enough storage for fishing equipment
also a bed can be arranged with all the folding tabs and seats

lol, i almost died when they showed the option for the Head. Can you imagine spending that much money on a boat then having to squat on that on a choppy day? no thanks!

This boat is primarily for commuting from home to work or home to vacation home in archipelago around Baltic sea in any weather and as quick as possible and usually your trip will be max 1 hour so the use case does not really need a toilet.
And to summarise: this is just a car replacement for Nordic people. How often do you have a toilet in your car?

Depends how wide the chair is…can it fit through the door? Once inside I’m sure slats could infil the floor voids. A davit could lift the chair on/off the boat possibly.

Interesting boat, for a speed merchant or law enforcement off shore boat. But she seems comfortable but safe despite the way she cut through the sea and dealt with the wind due to her trim tab system. Nice boat does what it says on the tin.
