21:38 So this was something that was missed by everyone, myself included, but the radio host couldn't locate his white van in the parking lot. You can even see the correct van off in the back, and what he did was get into the white van that Michael was already using.
I'm finally caught up and can watch this reaction as soon as it's uploaded. I just have one question. Why does Michaels mask look cool on all the covers and posters, but in the film he looks like one of the three stooges??? Awesome reaction ✌
Yeah, the masks in 4, 5 & 6 (particularly 5 & 6) are pretty bad. So bad that they kinda take me out of the movie sometimes. The mask in Halloween 1, 2, H20, the Rob Zombie remakes & the two new ones are all good to great. I can’t actually remember the mask for Resurrection. My guess is it’s probably not too awful, since I didn’t make a mental note of it.

I like the Producer's cut , it flows and makes more sense.,....this stretch of Halloween films are re-watchable, a bit disappointing at the time but I'm glad they made them.
"Fix the washing machine." When I watched this in theaters, I remember the stepdad pulling the head of his wife out of it, which is why it sounded broke but have never seen that cut ever since, anyone else remember seeing that?
Out of the films so far, I would rank them 1, 2, 4, 6, 5. I might consider ranking the Producer's Cut over Halloween 4, but not the theatrical cut. I hope that you get to my two favorite Halloween sequels (Season of the Witch and H20) next year.
Current ranking from this diehard Halloween fan** (constantly shifting): 1) Halloween H20 2) Halloween 1978 & Halloween 2* 3) Halloween 6 Curse of Michael Myers 4) Halloween 5 Revenge of Michael Myers 5) Halloween 4 Return of Michael Myers 6) Halloween 2018 7) Halloween Resurrection 8) Halloween 3 Season of the Witch 9) Rob Zombies Halloween 10) Halloween Kills 11) Rob Zombies Halloween 2 *Halloween 1978 & Halloween 2 are #2 for me when combined & considered as 1 movie. Separately they would probably fall a little lower on my list. **Halloween is my 3rd favorite franchise of ALL-TIME, behind Star Wars & DC
I love this movie. 6 was perfectly used to give "some" backstory into what drives him to kill. I really liked the modern feel of keeping the series going compared to the remakes. This is also my favorite Michael Myers mask for sure. Paul Rudd plays the perfect Tommy Doyle in my opinion. A little haunted and socially awkward considering the trauma he went through as a child. It's believable to me. Emotional scars and all. My favorite kill of all the Halloween movies is the asshole stepdad getting electrocuted in the basement! My ranking is 1,2,6,4,5. But I could always switch 1 and 2 around considering how the first film was so slow just introducing the style of the story but necessary none the less. Soo many people hate "The Curse" and it's head scratching to me. I think after watching the rest of them next year... You might find yourselves picking the original series over all of the remakes. Only 365 days untill I know if I'm right or wrong. Lol. 😂 Keep up the great work guys!!
@@Slasherhorror1980 That's probably because your not a plot kind of person. I however love a back story. It gives the film context making it that much more fun to follow. I.e. Jason Vhorhese, Freddy Krueger, and Pinhead.
@@Slasherhorror1980 Different people like different things, doesn't make things they dislike "wrong". Michael has had numerous different reasonings anyway and as it happens the TC of H6 doesn't differ from those that he was given in H2.
"Michael must be standing in water. Shouldn't he be being electrocuted too?" In the producer's cut version, the Strode father death was different. Michael charges in, throws him next to the fuse box, then drives a crowbar through him and into the fuse box. Yes, Michael is being electrocuted as well, but he's like, uh, playing through the pain, I guess, while the Strode father dies. But when the movie tested poorly with a bunch of teenagers, Dimension Films (The Weinstein brothers) demanded reshoots with gore (the producer's cut was just bloody. This one is gory) and this death sequence was reshot (the Strode father's head did not explode originally). But they didn't bother to think to show Myers being electrocuted as well in this reshot version. "Who did they impregnate Jamie with"? Again, in the producer's cut, Michael is indeed revealed to be the father of Jamie's baby.
If the third act of this film doesn't make sense then the reason why is because it was all because of reshoots. The Producer's Cut of the film actually sticks with the cult of Thorn storyline the film started with and is honestly a more coherent film. You guys REALLY need to watch that one to understand what the hell they were trying to do with this story and tie up the loose ends Halloween 5 presented.
Favorite Kill in this version of Halloween 6 was the dad. He deserved it. I agree with your ranking, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 5. I won't rank the others until yall get a chance to view them!
The Producer's Cut delved more into the Curse of Thorn. Jamie survived her initial encounter with Michael before being unceremoniously killed in the hospital while she was in a coma. Right before she is killed there is a dream sequence where it is heavily implied that Michael was made to rape her and is the father of the baby. There's a lot.less violence in the Producer's Cut as well. There's more Loomis. The last act of the film is completely different and the ending is far more Twilight Zone-esque.
After this the curse and cult stuff made things too complicated so they retconned out 4, 5 and 6 and started a new continuity with H20 being set 20 years after the first 2.
“He’s both of our passes was BRILLIANT “ 😂🤦🏾♂️😂😇 you guys have entertained me from the moment I came across the channel…thanks and happy Halloween from Philadelphia 🎃🔪🙋🏾♂️

"Since when does he have a sense of urgency?" Since half the movie was reshot after poor test screenings and a completely different actor was hired to play Michael and the distributors didn't give a shit about continuity in the franchise!
@@markmac2206 Are you kidding??? The movie's a mangled mess! The reshoots are so obvious that it almost hurts to watch the movie! And the editing is just the worst! And the fact that Dimension cut most of Donald's scenes out of the movie cause a bunch of "12 year old boys" found him boring is a disgrace to the man's name!
@@jeffr23817 It wasn't just those dumbass kids. Both the director Joe Chappelle and Harvey Weinstein wanted Pleasence's scenes cut from the film as much as possible. Screw both of those guys.

21:38 So this was something that was missed by everyone, myself included, but the radio host couldn't locate his white van in the parking lot. You can even see the correct van off in the back, and what he did was get into the white van that Michael was already using.
I’ve been watching you guys on here all month and It’s been really entertaining! Love these movie reactions!
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 fair enough. For me H4 through RZ Halloweens are all trash. Not good Halloween films. And yeah Michael looks like shit. It completely takes me out of it. My preferred films 78, 81, season of the Witch, H18, Kills, and Ends ( hopefully)
So the doctor Loomis talks to, is the doctor from Smith's Grove that he talks to in the first movie about driving a car. Dr. Wynn. Don't know if you guys caught that since I didn't hear you mention it so I figured I'd let you know. And yes, Steven the baby, is Michael's child. The Producers Cut pretty much spells it out whereas it's kept kind of vague in the Theatrical. Ranking of these that you've watched...1,2,6,4,5.
You guys have the coolest reaction channel ever and are so much fun to watch!!!!!!
Dr Wynn was in the first Halloween (played by another actor). He was the one that told Loomis that Michael couldn't drive a car. Loomis said someone there gave him lessons. Guess it was Wynn
You're reaction when the guys head exploded was priceless ✅
They wanted Paul Rudd to come back as Tommy in Halloween Kills, but he was busy with Ghostbusters: Afterlife. I think it would’ve been awesome to see him as Tommy again. Anthony Michael Hall did ok but not as good.
I have a feeling that was just an excuse. He probably didn't want to remind anyone that he was in H6 lol.
@@jamesmorrison2055 Paul Rudd is actually proud to be part of the Halloween franchise. He's said as such in various interviews.
@@ConstantineFurman Oh ok. I remember reading somewhere that he wanted to distance himself from that movie when he became more famous. Maybe not.
@@jamesmorrison2055 Yeah, there was a Halloween Anniversary Convention some years back that had as many people from the films as they could get. Paul Rudd wanted to go to it and announced he was going to be a guest... and Marvel wouldn't let him go cause it wasn't Comic-Con.
The cult definitely kept Michael well fed.
I have to wait a whole year to watch them finish this series 😢 my favorite horror franchise
I can’t wait to see the Mrs reaction to my favorite franchise Scream cause the best final girl is the main star won’t say who but fans of the franchise should know they get more badass with each movie
15:12 Michael didn't paint the house, she's noticing that something is missing. THE AXE!!!
Dr. Loomis makes the Thorn trilogy watchable for me. I think this mask in H6 is on the better side on the masks in the movies. Can’t wait for you to get the the modern movies and see the evolution of slashers in the modern age.
Good review!!! You made it to "Halloween 6"!!! Congratulations!!! Just got to get through the next 755 movies in the series what with all the re-imaginings, re-boots, and 2000 more family members to unnecessarily kill off. Cannot wait till next year!!
I love this channel. Its alot of fun watching movies with you guys
How the Hell did your channel not come up on my feeds earlier. Just discovered this yesterday and have been watching the shit out of it. lol I loved it when you asked her thoughts on I believe it was Aliens and she said "Im not a movie critic." Little does she know she is the movie critic we didnt know we needed now. I look forward to going back and watching your reactions. Finished the Alien films now its off to my favorite horror series Halloween. You both and the family have a great Halloween.

@@markmac2206 never was subscribed to this channel until recently. Just never popped up in my recommended channels. On now tho. lol
The Producer's Cut is actually really available on BluRay and streaming. Just... for what it's worth.
The dad seems like he could be Biff Tannen's brother.
No producers cut review? To quote the ending of the film…
“Nooooooooooooo!, noooo nawwwwwww noooooo”
Paul Rudd... Meow!!!!
I like the Producer's cut , it flows and makes more sense.,....this stretch of Halloween films are re-watchable, a bit disappointing at the time but I'm glad they made them.
I'm glad I found you guys. You are the funniest couple doing movie reactions on RUclips. Can't wait for next movie!
Yeah Michael was a hell of an appliance repairman, he had the washing machine running even with the power off 😂
Halloween is the best holiday. I can't understand or trust anyone who doesn't enjoy it.
25:05 He's finally dead... I cried laughing for ten minutes lol
3 guys played Michael in this movie. George P. Wilbur from part 4, A. Michael Lerner and fx guy Brad Hardin.
"Fix the washing machine." When I watched this in theaters, I remember the stepdad pulling the head of his wife out of it, which is why it sounded broke but have never seen that cut ever since, anyone else remember seeing that?
I love the head explosions I would rank 78 1 👍 this one 2. 3 part 2
Out of the films so far, I would rank them 1, 2, 4, 6, 5. I might consider ranking the Producer's Cut over Halloween 4, but not the theatrical cut. I hope that you get to my two favorite Halloween sequels (Season of the Witch and H20) next year.
''how to keep a crying baby from crying'' dip the dummy/pacifier in whiskey like they did in the old days...works a treat ;; )) @MrsMovie
Current ranking from this diehard Halloween fan** (constantly shifting):
1) Halloween H20
2) Halloween 1978 & Halloween 2*
3) Halloween 6 Curse of Michael Myers
4) Halloween 5 Revenge of Michael Myers
5) Halloween 4 Return of Michael Myers
6) Halloween 2018
7) Halloween Resurrection
8) Halloween 3 Season of the Witch
9) Rob Zombies Halloween
10) Halloween Kills
11) Rob Zombies Halloween 2
*Halloween 1978 & Halloween 2 are #2 for me when combined & considered as 1 movie. Separately they would probably fall a little lower on my list.
**Halloween is my 3rd favorite franchise of ALL-TIME, behind Star Wars & DC
Give her a little spin and rinse. Mrs Movies coins a new euphemism for doing the deed. I’m here for it.
Best Michael Myers of them all, brutal asf and gnarly mask to go with it!
I love H6 and agree that it’s definitely well above the films after it (although I feel RZH2 is solid if quite niche).
I never needed to know why Myers killed.
Shouldn't he be being electrocuted too?"
In the producer's cut version, the Strode father death was different.
The douchebag dad who got his head exploded is still my favourite kill in any franchise because of how hated he his I approve👍
I love the Producers cut. I wasnt a big fan of the editing and blue color hue in the original cut and release of the film.
Reac to "Halloween H20" "Halloween Resurrection" "Halloween: The Beginning" "Halloween H2" "Halloween 2018" And "Halloween Kills"
"Did she just leave that baby in a toilet or something?"😂 I would've loved for the movie to cut back to the baby splashing around in the toilet!😆
After this the curse and cult stuff made things too complicated so they retconned out 4, 5 and 6 and started a new continuity with H20 being set 20 years after the first 2.
The power was off in the Strode house, Michael's power of Thorn made the washing machine run lol
Dr Security? That's a weird name...I died! Hilarious
My ranking for these is
4, 6, 1, 2, 5
You two are great 🤗
THE BEST!
Thank you so much!! You all are the best for hanging out and watching!
He’s both of our free passes 😂😂😂
“He’s both of our passes was BRILLIANT “ 😂🤦🏾♂️😂😇 you guys have entertained me from the moment I came across the channel…thanks and happy Halloween from Philadelphia 🎃🔪🙋🏾♂️
Thanks Ryan! Happy Halloween to you too!!
I had no idea who Paul Rudd was until my fiancée told me about him when we were watching this together as I already watched it but she didn't yes you're right this was Donald Pleasence's last film as it says at the end in memory of Donald Pleasence I won't go into details but when you do watch the producers cut version of this film you'll find out what really happened to Dr Loomis and Jamie at the end of the film when you hear him scream oh and I like your Dr Loomis T shirt
Love the vids keep them coming
First time watching one of the best Halloween movies! I haven’t started watching yet but I hope u guys enjoyed this one. It’s excellent. And thank god u guys did the theatrical. Great choice
you should !!! they are amazing
Favorite kill? Probably the mom by the clothesline, even though I liked her- that splash of red against the white sheet was cool. Favorite supporting character? Even though lots of people hate her- Tina. And this one ranks fourth to last in the Halloween series for me, right above Season of the Witch and both Rob Zombie films.
Hey Mr and Mrs movies , great show as always. My favorite kill definitely the Dad's head exploding, i think my favorite part of the movie is Paul Rudd i loved him in this.
Fun fact he actually regrets doing this movie he talks about it in interviews, the movie itself is a guilty pleasure but Paul Rudd steals the whole show.
Great show guys.👍❤️
May Donald Pleasence Rest In Peace
She just washed those sheets Lol
"Since when does he have a sense of urgency?" Since half the movie was reshot after poor test screenings and a completely different actor was hired to play Michael and the distributors didn't give a shit about continuity in the franchise!
kept changing the script during filming...turned out damn good considering everything.
Thank you. God I hate the theatrical cut of this movie. It's such a mess.
@@jeffr23817 It wasn't just those dumbass kids. Both the director Joe Chappelle and Harvey Weinstein wanted Pleasence's scenes cut from the film as much as possible. Screw both of those guys.
@@alucard624 I heard Chappelle was on the Loomis bandwagon, it was mostly the Weinsteins who were against him. And knowing what we know now about those douchebags, they probably threatened the careers of the actors if they didn't blame the mess solely on the director.
"uncle love". lolol. Great reaction to a cluster of a sequel!
Maybe next year she'll watch the Rob Zombie remakes. It's great seeing others enjoy the franchise
I assume this is the theatrical cut versus the producers cut. I actually like this installment either way. Definitely a return to a more scary/spookier vibe compared to 4&5.
It's the theatrical cut. It has all the bizarre quick cuts, extra gore, and completely redone ending which jettisoned the whole cult of Thorn for some DNA science thing which didn't make sense either.
