Jumanji, a game for the whole family. All you need is food, water, a shelter, a gun...or two, tons of ammo, and really...really strong nerves. For risks and side effects, read the game instructions and ask your local zoo or expedition leader.

21:54 Well actually, Michelle, you're quite right. Both the hunter and Alan's dad are played by the same actor, for a purpose: When he was a kid, Alan was scared of his father for so long and he felt that he was mistreating him and that he never loved or cared about him. But when he gets sucked into the game and trapped for 26 years, Alan begins to regret what he said to his father and running away from him and wants another chance at apologizing to his father and repairing their relationship. The hunter looks like his father because he is supposed to resemble his father, because it will give Alan this big chance of redemption and standing up to his fears. But instead, Alan just runs away when the hunter shoots at him. In the end, when Alan realizes how his father's, Carl's, the factory's, and the town's downfalls were all caused by Alan's irresponsibility and cowardice, he gets confronted at gunpoint by the hunter when he's about to finish the game. But instead of running away, Alan finally has enough courage and remorse to stand up to his fears, go back in time, fix the past, and hope for the best between him and his father.

The film was a box office success, making $260 million dollars against a $75 million dollar budget, but recieved mixed reviews by Critics, with Roger Ebert called it "One of the worst kids movies ever made, and said that "the PG rating was a joke and the film is so dark and scary, it should have gotten a PG 13 rating."

While Robin Williams is *amazing* in this movie, Bonnie Hunt is incredible too. Her reaction when they set the game down in front of her really sells the traumatic memory she's been suppressing for the past 26 years. I *adore* this movie. I saw it in theaters twice when it came out (first with my dad, then I dragged my mom to it), I got it for Christmas when it came out on video and proceeded to watch it repeatedly, and I always had to show it to any of my friends that hadn't seen it. Even if the cg is super dated, the story and performances from the cast more than make up for it. I even bought the board game when it came out. Used to play it with my dad and my sister all the time.

They don't have "Easter Eggs" (i.e. special sections at the very end of the movie) or bloopers for older movies, except for Jackie Chan movies. For other movies, they didn't want people to know about the goofs, misspoken lines, etc. so we normally wouldn't be allowed to see them. However, they MIGHT distributed separately any bloopers they had, but it would usually some out years later, and usually were on a separate medium (i.e. film, disc, etc.) They started creeping in once a few got out and they realized that people loved them.

Its always crazy hearing a foreigner speak my language, and I feel like English is pretty widespread, but even still, Its heartwarming knowing people learn other languages to communicate better with different cultures, I took 4 years of Spanish in HS and I feel like it wasn't as helpful as actually trying to learn a language, I kinda just took it because a foreign language was required. I wish I could tell my younger self to take it more seriously, Im decent in Spanish but not as much as I should be, I didn't take the class as seriously as I wish I could have. That being said 10 years later an I am studying Japanese, Mandarin and refining my Spanish. French is another language I want to learn the basics of after I get a little more comfortable at speaking and hearing other languages first, But I FUCKING love how language learning can dissolve barriers, Xioama is a perfect example, also Laoshu (rip). Its basically because of them that sparked my want to learn and to integrate myself into other cultures, Speaking someone's language goes straight to the heart. Loved this video, subscribed!
