As a teen in the 80s, watching the original music video for this song was my first experience of Pink Floyd. Nice to see you feel it too.

Great song and band. Great reaction. Every song at the pulse concert is top notch, pick any.

After Roger Waters, (co-founder of Pink Floyd in 1964), quit the band in 1985, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Rick Wright, continued on as Pink Floyd until Wrights death from cancer in 2008. This Pulse Concert was the last leg of PF's "The Division Bell" World Tour in 1994.
So, there's only three actual members of Pink Floyd onstage here, the other musicians and singers you see here are PF's touring band att. You can tell which three are Pink Floyd, they're the 3 old guys,... in their 50s" here in 94!
"The Division Bell" Tour was from March to October, they performed something like 112 shows in 65 cities in 17 countries, (close, but just estimates).

Love your voice, and your music. I was hoping you,d do some more pink Floyd. You can,t go wrong with anything from the pulse concert. I saw them in Philly. Best concert ever
You have a deep rabbit hole to explore i,m looking forward to your reactions. Try " Poles apart" you won,t be disappointed. Love ya!

Gary Wallis is the percussionist, a brilliant player, and it was good that the members of PF chose good players and let them shine; no egos. One of my favorite Gary Wallis performances is really an introductory bit from The Delicate Sound of Thunder concert, "Yet Another Movie"; check it out!
P.S. If that is your music/vocal on the outro, I really liked it!

Both Nick Mason (drums) and David Gilmour (Vocals, guitar) were earning their pilot's license. (learning to fly). The radio chatter you hear at the 3:00 is actual radio communication between air traffic control and Nick Mason.

That’s such a cool story! PF was always brilliant at injecting interesting live sounds into their music, and making it musical 🔥

Song about Dave and drummer Nick mason learning to fly. The part you couldn't understand was Nick talking to the tower for instruction. This concert was 14 days in a row sold out their last. Dave had 2 solo tours after this . 'Live at Gdansk' and "Live at Pompeii " the only person to play there twice since 79 AD a Must " in any tongue" ******* last time "comfortably numb" with last count over 195 million views. Dave's tour do not have the huge light product although Mark Brinkman did Dave's shows.

Fun fact....first time I saw them I was tripping. Everything was progressing quite nicely until a summer storm came through. During the effect of the plane crashing behind the band I made a mental note. No acid at the next Floyd show.😂😂

There is an hour long live studio performance from 1970 from KQED in San Francisco. The video/film quality is not perfect like this, but the sound kicks ass. There are a couple songs on this performance you've heard on Pompeii, but there's more you haven't, and you'd love it. There's lots of live Floyd for you to view, and I, for one, look forward to watching with you.

Nick Mason is a very experiment pilot. The radio voice in the music was record in a Nick mason real flight.

Great reaction! I've listened to this band for 50 years and still do routinely, always will. I saw David in Chicago on his Rattle That Lock tour - wonderful concert, one of the best I've seen. I hope he tours again, but the clock is ticking, I'm doubtful he'll do another big tour, maybe a small one. At least, I wish he'd release another album!

Hello Lijie 😊 I hope as you read this you are doing well and in good health and spirits.
I enjoyed your reactions to this legendary band, and I enjoy all your covers of different songs as well as your original music. You are amazing and have so much talent.
If I may, I would recommend a listen to David Gilmours first two albums titled “David Gilmour and About Face.” I think you would definitely enjoy it.
All my best wishes to you.

I first saw em here in Tampa in 73 at 13. No adult supervision. Saw em 3 times after in Atlanta. We use to "camp out" for tickets like people do now for an iPhone. One of the best things about a Floyd concert was people mostly stayed in their seats during a song with a dumbfounded look on their faces and lost their minds between. Was always tripping balls so there's that. I remember during the Animals show walking down to the stage during a song. No one stopped me. We were probably row 15 but there was nothing stopping anyone from jumping up there, that I remember , ya just didn't do it. Turned around and walked back to my seat unmolested. I've seen most of the greats. Zeppelin was my first show that same year, saw ZZ TOP and Deep Purple, among others , that year. Floyd is just different. Nothing like em.
