Can't win when your front office getting rid of folks they don't realize are integral
Every front office isn't interested in winning. Look at the Clippers now vs when they had Don Sterling.
They didn't want anything from what's left from michael jordan wizards tenure... Jared was really close to MJ that they would go fishing every week even right now in 2021...
In the 2005 playoffs, it was Jared Jefferies who had a heads up moment where the ball inbounded off of Chris Duhons back and he recovered and ran it all the way down the court for the go ahead dunk. The most unlikely hero of the series.
I totally forgot about Jeffries. Underrated dude
Haywood droppin bombs lol respect sir !
Jared and Larry were two amazing defenders that were very important role players.
Jared Jeffries was phenomenal. I remember him later in his career in Portland he was still great. Leadership, great defensive, high basketball IQ.
Phenomenal? Sarcasm? The guy was a lottery pick and his best years averaged 5.5 pts and a mere 4 rebounds. Ok, i get it he was a defensive player. Great in Portland? Put up 1.5 points
I thought that was Tim hardaway jr. 😂
Larry was a really good player should have been a multiple all-star & Jeffries was very tough remember he was trying to kill Melo in that Knicks/Nuggets fight only to be a goon for Melo when he got to NY
Facts he had Melo back peddling out the building
@@veniljackson47 🤣🤣🤣 CLASSIC
I remember Jared jeffries was looking like a future all star bigman with the wizards
Pretty good glue guy but all star? Uhh no lol
@@cakhi001 he's not just a glue guy every game he's switching his roles like it is nothing one game he'll start as a SG next game he'll be at PF... I would say he's an athletic draymond green. He just lost his 3pt shot when he only played exclusively as a big
Cut the bull. Jefferies couldn't make a layup
@@TheTwinkiefoot haha right? I was trying to be nice about it lol
you are mixing him up with somebody
Jeffries would be a 15+ mil player in today's NBA. Dude competed, never started any problems in the locker room, and knew where to be on the court to contribute.
When he came out of Indiana the league really cheated him.
He would be 20+ now.
@@toddcann2407 one more year in school wouldn't have hurt him.

Where’s the rest of this amazing interview at?

Keep bringing classical Ball to the world! Facts about certain players folk don't mention/remember that they know were decent Hoopers! Love the Show
#BallGame
Jared Jeffries was built like Durant and only wanted to play defense. He was a silky smooth 6’11 forward that could do a little bit of everything.
Jamison looks like Tim Hardaway Jr
Always said larry wasnt a bum like ppl who say "lbj took a team full of bums in 07 to the finals" that team was in no way bums... its just the lbj system killed alot of their game and play style. Larry was avg over 20 in wash, and then like 14 in cleve
At what point did Larry Hughes play like Lou Williams or Jamal Crawford? He was inconsistent and injury prone plus I will take Lebrons 2018 finals roster over the 2007 one.
@Keith Kitchen how was he washed when the year before he came to cleve he avg 22p-6r-4a-3stls with the wizards... the very next yr (his first with cle) he went 15p-4rb-3a-1.5stl... you say he didnt have the legs?? you do realize he was 27 years old his first year in cleveland
@Keith Kitchen very well aware of my cavs history. Been here for over 35yrs 😂 . Point i was making was that ppl say that team was bums. They wasnt bums. The lbj system just kills players. Everybody go out to the 3 and just wait for the ball.. maybe a PnR also is involved. So even if you wasnt a consistent 3pt shooter... you have no choice but to stand at the 3 n wait.. and if larry wasnt exactly a 3 shooter, but a scorer. Who's fault was that? Not larrys fault. We knew what he could do with all those battles we had vs wash. Hes a scorer, not a shooter
Yea with all the narratives its hard to hear the truth and when you say no they weren't bums theirs alot of pushback.
gtfoh bro without bron that team would have been in last place but this whole comment is very cute
Did he say ' you only play one end' ?
Facts tho 😂 Gil played passing lanes never his man. Didn't even try
Gilbert didn’t want to mention Larry, the actual 2 Guard/Right Guard/ Shooting guard🤣🤣
Larry use to get buckets
Well said Haywood
i wanna watch this epi
Time for me to go look up Jeffries
Don’t waste your time.
Larry Hughes was a combination of Tony Allen and Eddie Jones he played good defense but was a streaky shooter.
I remember Carmelo punching Jared Jeffries and then running away😂
It was Mardy Collins that got punched. Jared Jeffries tried to chase him down for that
Guys I’m a lifelong Wizards fan. Trust me we were never a threat to win a chip when Gilbert was our best player. He gave us some exciting moments but Gil wasn’t a good enough defender/play maker, Jaminson wasn’t aggressive enough as a scorer, and Larry Hughes efficiency left a lot to be desired.
Really though
Jared Jefferies was actually good at sum point? Cuz when he got to NY he was ATROCIOUS bruh
💯💯
NAH he really wasnt
Larry Hughes was y’all leader…welp
I agree with all they said, but their only problem was LeBron was in the East!!!
I thought i’d never see the day where Jared Jeffries got mentioned in this type of fashion lol that dude was a burger lol. As a Knick fan I wish the wizards would’ve kept his azz smh
I was just thinking the same thing. He was a fuxking bum
Larry Hughes and Antawn Jamison is all this nigga talk about
