Do Americans know that MJ is more popular than the basketball game itself. I'm from india and basketball is non existing here but Everyone remembers MJ as one of the greatest athletes of all time and THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME.
*All-Nba Player.* LBJ"s era ( 2003/2018 ): *East- 58.* *West- 147.* Lebron James feasted in the weak East. Let"s not forget that Joakim Noah was the last first team All-Nba Player ( 2014 ) besides Lebron James before Giannis ( 2019 ).

@@naveenreddyadmala3669 Dude if we assume that Lebron is more athletic, that would make MJ even better than him because MJ has accomplished a lot despite being less athletic.
Jordan may very well be the goat/better player. I am a person who is really neutral on that topic. I would say that just because Jordan’s opponents in the finals won a lot of regular season games doesn’t make them just as competitive as the teams Lebron’s teams lost to. I feel like no team could ever beat the warriors teams with KD on them. Period. They are the goat juggernauts and they are weak for teaming up like that but no team is touching them in any era. So if the bulls would have had a chance to beat them and did, I would feel this way about Jordan, but I know they’d get punished like Everyone else who’d try to take on the 2 best shooters ever and the best 7 footer-ish ever in KD. And yes, he may be 6’11” but he is not 6’9” lol.
And plays in a league where you can’t touch anyone. 65% of MJ’s career was during a time you could body check someone and not even a get a flagrant foul. MJ had every single tool. Jordan has more amazing highlights just during random games no one remembers like 2.3.90 against the Spurs and Robinson.
shit tim donaghy would beg to differ quote “I was in Philadelphia and I am refereeing Sixers-Bulls. They were cracking down on the spin move that they wanted the officials to call traveling. Michael Jordan makes the spin move, I make the call. Phil Jackson comes off the bench and he starts giving me sh*t. I say, 'wait a second, Phil. You know as well as I do that's the spin move they're telling us to call.' And he said, 'while they might want that play called, they certainly don't want it called on him', and he pointed at Jordan who just walked by and stared at me. I got in the locker room, the other referee said, 'they want that call but don't want to on him.”
@@yosnags8447Ummm… I was a teenager in the 90’s and I’m incredibly bored watching basketball now. However, I can say this irrefutable statement: BOTH MJ and LBJ get calls in favour of them. I wouldn’t be harping on that point as I see LBJ get all calls his way. You know he ISN’T getting a normal call his way when he’s screaming at a ref throwing a HUGE princess fit.
Are you kidding? MJ invented the legal travel. and had weak guards facing him in big games - mostly 1v1 with no zone defense. Ex, Danny Ainge, Dan Majerle, Craig Ehlo, Scott skiles, 175lb Kevin Johnson, etc. Dumars was ok, but the size of Steph curry and MJ lost to him lost of the time.
@@grillbuster1519 He had two step travels on breakaway dunks. They get about four steps today. There were lots of good defense guard, but even if you claim they weren’t, at least people played hard defense then and you had to be willing to get physically punished if you want to drive to the hole often.
@Inigo Bantok he was playing passive in 2011 and they were using a zone scheme stoping the drive from lebron with dpoy Tyson Chandler and in 2014 d wade was washed from his former self I would hardly call it a juggernaut he was damn near by himself out there
when it comes to layups LeBron is left hand dominant you dumb ass. literally the best driver in nba history. scouting report on MJ is you don't have anything to fear unless he's getting carried by scotty pippen
From what i googled 1994-95 Chicago Bulls season The Bulls struggled in the first half of the season with a 23-25 record at the All-Star break. Jordan faxed a memo that simply said "I'm back." Then The Bulls won 24 of their final 34 games, and finished the season with a 47-35 record, going 13-4 with Jordan back in the lineup. Note: This was the Jordan has been swing baseball bats for 12+ months, not playing basketball.
I have had the privilege of seeing both players entire careers, Lebron’s to this point, and while I think they both are great... Jordan is literally the best player I’ve ever seen to this day...
This guy retired almost 20 years ago and keep his life private, doesn't engage personally on social media and until now we are still talking about him. Thats Greatness right there. And his shoes sold more than the current players combined.
Bill was MORE private than MJ, and we were still talking about him over 40 years after he retired (he started getting more public around 2000). Chuck Taylor probably had more shoe sales than MJ did - but that's at least a debate.
This is one of the greatest analytic videos ever made on youtube, ESPN or anywhere for that matter. How could anyone argue after watching this!?! Amazing job!!
Easy. From just the highlights in the background, LeBron shoots less than 50% on the highlights. Roughly 30 misses shown. While in the background, Jordan goes 72-for-72. Complete bias video.
I am a die hard Laker fan hands down & Magic Johnson will always be my favorite Laker as well as player, but MJ was the best that I have ever seen to play the game and Kobe was the closest that I have seen to MJ, but the GOAT is certainly Michael Air Jordan, without a doubt ✌🏾

Dude, I could've written this post. I have been a Magic fan since his MSU days, and a Laker fan since Kareem got there. But just like every other person who saw him play, I have never seen anything like Jordan. I died a little when Bulls got the Lakers back when. And here's the thing... Lebron is a Laker, and I'm a Laker, so I'm no hater. Actually have enjoyed and admired his game since the beginning. But Jordan? If you want the biggest, strongest guy who lasted the longest? Lebron. You want to win ? We know who tgat is.
Michael most underrated accomplishment was how he is the main reason why so many All-Time greats don’t have rings. Ex: Patrick, Barkely, Reggie, Malone
MJ for 3 reasons 1. Killer instinct and highly competitive 2. Tough and unshakeable 3. Small feet for quickness at 6'6 and hands of a 7'8 center. Jordan could do things with those big hands players of a similar size like Kobe and LBJ could never do. MJ was a once in a 100 year athlete just like Wilt was for his position.
That isn't a thing. A high ratio of fast-twitch muscle, good limb ratios and lower body strength gave Jordan a quick first step... and quick everything else. @@elisampley7598
@@bowenhammack6155 lmao look at his career average stats. Dwayne Wade was a far better player, hell even Bosh was and I don't see the HEAT with LBJ getting a 3 peat
Nick McMurray if you’ve looked into anything about Wilt’s time you would know it was obvious that Russell was a better player. Coaches, analyst, and other players from that time say the same thing. Wilt isn’t even top 5
Lightnin I don’t really think it’s that obvious or simple. Russell was an incredible player and you could argue he was the most unselfish, most team oriented player of all time. And also the greatest rebounder and defender of all time. But Wilt just dominated too much for me not to consider him better. The fact is Russell played with better teammates and Wilt still took the Celtics to elimination games on multiple occasions. Wilt was a far better scorer, lead the league in rebounds more, played almost as good of defense, and even lead the league in assists one season, something no Center had ever done. And I believe that season the Sixers won 68 games, so it’s not like he was just doing it to stat pad, it actually lead to a really good winning record. Wilt holds more statistical records than anyone in history, while being a 2 time champion, a 4 time MVP, a Finals MVP, a 7 time scoring champion, ASG MVP, and won one of his MVPs as a rookie. Don’t mistake me for disrespecting Russell because I’m not. He’s the GOAT defender and was the most unselfish player in history. But Wilt was just different

@@lukelucky1311 this is false. LeBron used dirty disrespectful tactics to bait Draymond into getting suspended for game 6 and whined about it post game. Cavs deserve respect though for winning game 7 in the final few scoreless minutes.
Hahaha I remember a player saying that this is how he approached playing against MJ. You just kill him with kindness and you don't give him any reason to take sh*t personal 😂
It's hard for the younger people to grasp Michael Jordan's greatness. Jordan was Jordan ALL THE TIME. You can't possibly realize that without having witnessed it at the time. Also, people always show the same highligts of him but he was relentless. Always a joy to watch. Always on top of his game. If it wasn't for those last two years in Washington nearing 40 we would never have seen him decline.
We witnessed Lebron pretty much give up in an NBA Finals. For that and that alone, I cannot put Lebron at the top. Your analysis only cements that with a ton of other supporting data.
I mean it’s easy to be the best when you have the best team around you and it’s easy to say he gave up when he’s playing one of the best teams in history😂😴
NHDolphinsFan go back to your dolphins man cave. MJ played the best Celtic’s team in the history of that franchise (how many rings?), and averaged over 35 PPG.
Kenma Tong you automatically get excluded from the conversation when you say how many rings😂 that is the most garbage argument ever. Plus no teams were made to beat MJ like they were against LeBron plus the NBA was easier back then everyone wants to say it wasn’t but it was considering the fact that a teams average points per game has gone down by almost 10 ppg is saying something. Plus the playbook was made for Jordan so he could take on these Plummer’s 1 on 1 cause of illegal defense so everyone would either have to commit to the double team on Jordan or hope the man on him can stay in front of him. The league was so easy back then and every one tries to say this league is a cupcake league but look at Jordan against the bad boy Pistons he got soooo many questionable fouls that went his way but the league was sooo aggressive back then please. Then when people say LeBron would be nobody in that league are flat out wrong if anything he’d be better cause he could just iso the entire time like Jordan did. Jordan was a great scorer but that’s all I give him. He was a great defensive player against a weak league of SG’s. Notice how when Kobe and AI came in they made him look like a fool yeah I get he’s old but LeBron is old too and had to carry a sorry Cavs team for years. Old heads can’t move on and the NBA gives everyone else the MVP to save Jordan’s legacy the NBA is sorry for that.

I saw Jordan play twice. Once as a 40 year old. During the game MJ held the ball in front of him with his arm outstretched inches from his defender. Jumaine Jones could not take the ball from him. JJ would lunge to grab it and MJ would move it a foot in one direction or another. This went on for around 20 seconds. Then Jordan and scored while the Cleveland arena booed its own player and cheered on Michael Jordan for embarrassing him. I don't think I'll ever see anything like this in professional sports again. Remember when J. R. Blew the chance to win the game vs. Golden state? You can read Lebron's mind going "There is my scape goat, now we can lose and nobody can blame me". He quit right there, series over. That's to quote that kid that turned around and called the "game over" moment,
Jordan without the Bulls would not be so successful, since the Chicago squad was much above average for the time ... First to start with the bank, where Kukok in 1996 won the sixth league man award, Lebron never had one privilege on your team. Another positive aspect was that Horace Grant was an excellent bouncer, soon afterwards Roodman, simply one of the greatest bouncers in history, again Lebron never had such a privilege on his team. Finally, Jordan had one of the greatest technicians in history (Phil Jackson), and once again, Lebron never had the privilege of acting alongside a technician of this size. In short, Lebron James is the best player in NBA history, precisely because he managed to win the league with a coach called Tyroon Lue and players like Mozgov, Dellavedova, Shumpert and Mo Williams, then I ask you !!!! There is but won because the other side the team was weak !!! And the answer is no !!!! @fredericchen8132 Jordan was insulted with the popularity LeBron was getting since before LeBron debuted in the NBA. Jordan takes jabs at LeBron on a regular basis. Jordan's insecure. Watch Jordan come out with another documentary.
Here’s the thing, Jordan, after winning three titles with the Bulls, took a two-year break, then came back to a completely new weak Bulls team with only Scottie Pippen as a veteran from the old days. In the matter of a single season he turned that group of strangers into a championship team. Three years running. Let me know who else in basketball history did something like that through force of will alone.
@@vickramsingh5814 Steve Kerr was just a journey man backup PG before the Bulls, and Rodman was nearly out of the league before the Bulls because of his antics with the Spurs. He turned that team into a championship team in less than a full season. He came out of retirement and rejoined the Bulls after they already had played 50+ games.. Amazingly, he dragged that .500 Bulls team to the playoffs but they ended up losing to the Magic i think. Its completely understandable if you take into consideration that Jordan was not in basketball shape as he had been playing baseball for the previous year and a half.
Oh yes, the amazing Steve Kerr...who had a career average of 6 points a game. Rodman was a great pick up, but was also seen as a huge risk. Because at that time Rodman was damn near impossible to coach and was a major distraction. Rodman was almost out of the league because no one wanted to deal with his nonsense anymore. Not to mention he wasn't exactly in his prime when he joined Chicago either.

Lebron went to the finals 9 times and won 3 so he lost 6 times. Lebron is the #1 player in the NBA today, but he is not better than Jordan. Jordan was 6 for 6 and he didnt have to convince other superstars to play on his team to help him Win like Lebron did for his 3 rings. As Lebron gets older the GOAT argument will fade. Lebron ran the 40 in 4.6 secs, Jordan ran the 40 in 4.38 secs. Result= Jordan is faster! Lebron has a vertical leap of 40", Jordan has a vertical leap of 48". Result= Jordan can jump much higher! Fun Factor: The most amazing dunks were from Jordan, not Lebron. Jordan backed the talk by competing in the dunk contest and winning! Lebron was afraid to enter yet he released teaser videos showing he was a great dunker but he was afraid to compete in the dunk contest b/c if he lost it would be another check off the list showing Lebron was not as good as mike. Jordan is a better free throw shooter at .835%, Lebron is .735%. Jordan is better at stealing the ball than Lebron. Jordan has a career 3.1 steals per game, Lebron has 2.2 steals per game so Jordan steals the ball almost .3 times more per game! Lebron turns the ball over more than Jordan. Jordan had a career turnover of 9.3%, Lebron had 13.1%. Jordan scores more points per game then Lebron with a career avg of 30.1 its per game, Lebron has 25.7 per game. There are many career stats that ppl prematurely compare such as career shooting %, career assists, player efficiency, and all other "career" statistics, but those stats can't be compared yet b/c Lebron is still playing. His career stats will drop as he gets older and he becomes less productive. Jordans stats include his later years so wait for Lebrons stats to include his later years as well. Career points Lebron has a slightly higher accuracy of .504% compared to Jordans .497%, but remember Lebrons career % will drop as he gets older, and if you want to accurately calculate how good of a shooter Lebron is you have to remember more than ⅓ of Lebrons 2 point scores (.360) are from 3' away or closer indicated his shooting skills are padded with lay ups so his career accuracy does not demonstrate he is a superior shooter. If you compare stats based solely on shots from outside the paint at 10'-16' out Jordan has a %.446 and Lebron has .386%. From 16' out or more Jordan has .453% and Lebron is .386 so career % Jordan is a better shooter when you break down the numbers and remove the layups and put backs. Also those stats don't show the same difficulty Jordan faced since hand checking was allowed on perimeter shooters which now just gives Lebron 2 easy free throws. Jordan was usually double or triple covered b/c he didnt have other superstars on his team like D Wade, Chris Bosch, Ray Allen, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, or Anthony Davis. Don't even try to say Scottie Pippen was a superstar, he was a good player who played better b/c he had more opportunities since opposing defenses were focused on Jordan. If Pippen wasnt on the same team as Jordan no one would remember him today. Lebron will reach some higher numbers than Jordan, but not b/c he is better, but b/c he played more years. Jordan played 14 full seasons while Lebron has already played 17 and is still going. Lebron got 3 more years when he skipped college and 5 more years bc he didnt retire and return 2x during his prime. Jordan wasn't thinking about Lebrons stats, but Lebron's goal was to beat Jordans stats from his 1st day in the NBA when he wore Jordans #23. Imagine if things were reversed and Jordan played AFTER Lebron retired. Imagine Jordan wearing Lebrons number, skipping college and going straight to the NBA. We all know Jordans numbers would be even bigger if he was trying to beat Lebrons records. There is no doubt if Jordan came after Lebron, played more years in the NBA, and was focused on beating Lebrons stats he would, but Jordan got where he is by being the best, not by focusing just on stats.
Lori Schreiber Dont forget the fact that Jordan did more in less time than LeBron did over a span of a LONNNG career. Took LeBron over a decade to receive half the amount of success Jordan did. Also Jordan has more championships with less points scored. Jordan also has a close number of career points scored to LeBron in a much shorter crunch of time which makes him even more impressive. I’d like to see someone compare LeBrons total points vs Jordan when LeBron was at the same amount of time played when Jordan retired.
Lori Schreiber I just calculated it. It’s 31,038 to MJ’s 32,292. Less points, with less to show for, with less awards, with less fg%, less efficiency, less defensive stats, younger than MJ, softer league, despite being physically bigger, whoever created the LeBron GOAT argument is part of a cult it’s not even CLOSE Jordan belongs in his own category
Lori Schreiber let’s not also forget the fact that if Jordan and LeBron actually competed on an NBA level he would probably make LeBron cry no exaggeration. LeBron couldn’t even handle the rough fouls of the 80s / early 90s he would’ve folded and his team would have faded away into the darkness. Who does LeBron get to trash talk in this era pip squeak steph curry?😂😂give me a break Jordan would have mentally dismantled LeBron and make him question his own existence, prove it, then demolish him leaving nothing left but Jordan’s dominance over him. That’s how he destroyed his opponents. Informed them that they were inferior, then destroyed them while they were under mental distress over the fact that Jordan had the mental edge over them.

Yep, it sure is. Most of these debates out on youtube are so biased but there's not a single biased opinion in this video and there's barely any opinions cause everything's backed up by stats.
It feels like LeBron has been playing to be the greatest of all time while Jordan played to win if that makes sense. LeBron wants to win because it helps his case for greatness. While it felt like Jordan wanted to win just because he wanted to win. Two totally different mindsets and it shows like LeBron bouncing to different teams to raise his chances while Jordan retired early because he won 3 in a row and lost the motivation. Jordan wasn't chasing Kareem, magic or Russel he was just chasing himself
Finally someone with a logic and a brain. This is the most accurate way to distinguish both. In his early career and reaching his first Conference finals, all Jordan wanted was to be up there with the best of his time like Larry and Magic. I would always argue that his desire to win is unparalleled. To retire in your prime and almost reach MLB for about 18 months just shows his mentality. What I like the most is MJ stayed loyal and he was pivotal in building a dynasty. He started with a bottom feeder team and because of him, they build this legacy.

Criteria 6: Sportsmanship. If a player ever intentionally fakes an injury, foul or play in order to elicit a bad call by a ref, then he is disqualified from any consideration for greatest of anything. Sportsmanship is required of all sportsmen.
Just watched this again. My man, you need to make more content. This video needs to be seen by as many people as possible. This is hands down the best NBA GOAT breakdown in the history of RUclips.
I saw a rare interview of MJ recently that was done in the 90s. To my surprise the reporter asked him why he didn't take more three spoint shots and MJ's response was that he didn't prioritize getting better at it cause he believes it takes away from his game which is to drive or pull up J within the perimeter. In other words he was hinting that staying at the 3 point line waiting for the ball is lazy basketball and wouldn't make it challenging for him.
Jordan was legit so good that he could afford to play with his food like that. Just about every player in today's game would prefer to take threes over how he played. Is that a bad thing? I personally think it's less fun to watch, but it makes sense from a technical perspective: three is more than two, and it's pretty easy for NBA players to make that shot. Kinda crazy that Jordan didn't even want to excel at it because of how much he loved a good challenge.
The man called himself a causal. But this video makes that hard to believe. Has some flaws, as taking a look at five categories limits the scope a bit, but still better than ESPN meat riding LeBron or Skip Bayless hating on LeBron

Lebron👑🦁
Let's also consider that Jordan was allowed 2 steps after picking up his dribble, and Lebron gets 4...

The best video on MJ v Bron I've seen. Truly comprehensive and a mic drop moment.
Their brain hasn't developed enough to see it....
Kenma Tong he played that Celtics team and still lost after putting up 60, I agree mj is the Goat but the Goat has a great team otherwise he wouldn’t be 6-0

He's the goat.
That type of stuff happens all the time in Warriors games.

Here’s the thing, Jordan, after winning three titles with the Bulls, took a two-year break, then came back to a completely new weak Bulls team with only Scottie Pippen as a veteran from the old days. In the matter of a single season he turned that group of strangers into a championship team. Three years running. Let me know who else in basketball history did something like that through force of will alone.
they picked up rodman and steve kerr in those last 3 years
@@vickramsingh5814 And both of them had problems in their career at the time
@@vickramsingh5814 Steve Kerr was just a journey man backup PG before the Bulls, and Rodman was nearly out of the league before the Bulls because of his antics with the Spurs. Rodman brought rebounding and defense, Steve brought shooting. They were not as impactful without a superstar like MJ leading them.

Dayum, you've convinced me to come around on this. I always thought Lebron was better but I can't stand by that knowing all this.
Glad you see the reality now.
Result= Jordan is faster!
This has got to be one of the best analysis I have ever seen.

This is the most convincing GOAT analysis on RUclips on who is the greatest NBA player ever, period!
Yep, it sure is.
Most of these debates out on youtube are so biased but there's not a single biased opinion in this video and there's barely any opinions cause everything's backed up by stats.
@@abelthegoat2471 exactly, you can't argue against such evidence.
I agree straight up..
ITS OVER, ITS OVER!!
Bruhhhh MJ had a better team around him

He needs to do more
One of the greatest basketball videos I have ever seen...PERIOD. Production quality is better than most TV shows.
I don't know if I believe it's his first video.
It’s his only video
@@beepboop4833 do more than what? a thirty minute video?
To even have this discussion or debate is silly. Btw, excellent, well-made video.
@@rinickulousgaming8599 exactly and people who say rings don't matter are just clowns. If rings didn't matter, then LeBron would never make "The Decision", LeBron wouldn't have said after 2020 WCF "Job's not done", MJ even said he couldn't be in the same breath or class as Larry Bird and Magic Johnson until he won that title in 1991
Makes complete sense. Jordan has said that if he wanted Kareems scoring title he would have chased it until he got it

Wtf lebron is in his 17th season hes old now this isn't his prime hes going to be the first person to have 40k points and mh played 1000 more minutes than lebron

This is by far the best detailed analysis of the Lebron vs Jordan debate. Can’t believe this was ur first RUclips video.
...did he compare the other 4 players on the floor with MJ...and the other 4 players for Lebrone...false dichotomy...false equivalence....put Lebron with the 4 that MJ player with...and they would be beating GS ...EVERY YEAR...for the title....
@@johncollins6755 MJ still the goat.. Lebron has a solid argument for 2nd though
@@johncollins6755 the other 4 players mj had that was good was pippen and Rodman for the 2nd 3 peat, Rodman wasn’t even put into the all star game playing with the bulls and Scottie wasn’t an all star in 1998 and 1991 and mj still won in insane fashion, in 98 Scottie was in and out suffering from and injury throughout the playoffs and logged in 8 ppg on 11 min per game, mj was insane dropping 40+ points 3 times in thag series with 45 of the 87 points in game 6 with the game winning steal and shot, in 91 pippen wasn’t an all star as I said and was a bench player avg 8 ppg. Mj avg 40+ that finals🤯 and won fmvp, lebron on the other hand has never won a finals without 2 other all stars except for 2020 but not having a 3rd all star with him this year,Anthony Davis was still a top 5 player in the league and was in debate for the fmvp. Mj has never went to a game 7 in the finals, lebron got swept twice in the finals, lost in 5 twice and shot under 40% fg 2 times and under 30% from the 3😖🤕. Lebron on the cavs had arguably the easiest path to the finals except for 2016 with the antlanta hawks, pacers and pistons. In 2018 lebron the easiest path to the finals and it was pretty equivalent to 2017 and 2015 with his 2 other all stars with him those years in kyrie Irving and Kevin love. Mj had to go through the toughest conference of his era with the 5 hof team in the Celtics, pistons,mj tomboy hawks, shaq and penny magic, heat with Tim hardaway and Alonzo mourning, pacers, hornets. He is better individually- offensively and defensively eithh jj more athleticism on his side and leader ship snd insane work ethic and killer mentality. As you can see mj is the goat 🐐
@@freddyarkalji4208 ...you put Lebron...on the team with the same 4...and you will see...Tell me this though...why in college, while MJ was good...did he not dominate? That was because in the college "rules"...there are violations called..."traveling...carry...steps...walking...double dribble...". Those do not exist in the NBA.....the NBA did not have great fan support, in the 50's and 60"s...it bordered on "Big Time Wrestling"....The NBA had to do something to make their product far more appealing....Do you not recall the two-hand "set-shot"...as that was a major "offensive play", or are you too young to know of this time period?
You need to watch what the game has "evolved to".....it barely mirrors either H.S. or College basketball...
BTW...don't call either Pippen, Harper, Kukoc or Rodman second tier players.....
@@johncollins6755 Michael Jordan did dominate in college Bron fanboy. He played 3 years.

>He won rookie of the year in his first year. And he won every single college player of the year award possible in his last 2 years.
Jordan is the GOAT. He even push his teammates so hard to make his team the best team (most of the stars in Bulls after they join Bulls and winning with Bulls). Being Jordan's teammates wasn't easy, he want you to be better and train so hard everyday. I am not saying Jordan was the only one who make Bulls success, but he was one of them.
This is the BEST youtube video I have ever seen!!! I dont know how someone could give it a thumbs down PURE HATE!!! Haha have to agree! Just did a full video on this, the size is a bit important for each position.
Criteria 6: Sportsmanship. If a player ever intentionally fakes an injury, foul or play in order to elicit a bad call by a ref, then he is disqualified from any consideration for greatest of anything. Sportsmanship is required of all sportsmen.

11.16.23. Was anyone else led here from the Spaceforce Ingersol Lockwood site?
yes , Q
I saw a rare interview of MJ recently that was done in the 90s. To my surprise the reporter asked him why he didn't take more three spoint shots and MJ's response was that he didn't prioritize getting better at it cause he believes it takes away from his game which is to drive or pull up J within the perimeter. In other words he was hinting that staying at the 3 point line waiting for the ball is lazy basketball and wouldn't make it challenging for him.
i seen that video to he didn’t wanna base his game off a three or something along those lines lol
@@donsantos1885 He didn't want to become a one trick pony... ala Steph Curry.
@@greezythumb ik this sounds obvious but a 3 point shot would have made him better because a 3 is more valuable then a 2
Jordan was legit so good that he could afford to play with his food like that.
Don’t forget the fact Michael Jordan hit six 3 pointers in the first half of the nba finals before.
This is the GOAT analysis, well done my man. Regardless of everyone’s opinion, you did a great job of explaining each category with objectivity. 👏🏽👍🏽
True I agree, just did full video on this also!
The man called himself a causal. But this video makes that hard to believe. Has some flaws, as taking a look at five categories limits the scope a bit, but still better than ESPN meat riding LeBron or Skip Bayless hating on LeBron
An in-depth, precise, and thought provoking analysis. This video deserves an award!
