The 1313-4401 is a CURTIS OEM level (for vehicle manufacturers or repairers) handset, having full access to CURTIS programmable controllers. For different CURTIS programmable controllers, the connection of programmer will be different. For a 1268 controller, you need to connect the J1-1, J1-2 and J1-4 terminals to B+ of power source of 16V DC or higher (not higher than the controller nominal voltage). The B- busbar of controller should also be connected. Then plug-in the 4-Pin Molex connector of programmer. With this handset, you may easily view and modify the controller parameters. There are different access level for 1313 programmers. For USER level programmer, some parameters will not be accessible.

It is recommended that you check the error history of your controller. By identifying the last error of controller, you may possibly find the reason of controller fault.

We were told that 16.8V DC source can power on a CURTIS controller. But in practice, the lowest voltage that we've tried is 19.6V, on a CURTIS 1204M controller. For most occasions, we use 24V DC source. It is also recommended that you use a 24V DC source.

    Does the 1313 also work on a 1264-5403 ??

According to the user manual, the programmer 1313-4401 works with all CURTIS programmable controllers. But we have not a controller 1264-5403. So we don't have the experience of connecting the programmer to a controller 1264-5403.
