Is there an NFHS Umpire Classroom for Softball?

Sadly no. But there is a softball Rules By Topic which I highly recommend.

I had a coach take his starting pitcher out, then put him on first for an inning, then out him back on the mound. Is this allowed? Can a starting pitcher take the mound for a second time? If so what are the NFHS RULES as they apply to starting pitchers being subbed back into the game.

This is legal for any pticher as long as they faced the first batter of the inning, or the batter at bat when they entered. However, if they were taken out before this, or if they were injured, or their replacment took more than 8 warm up throws, they can only return as one of the other positions.

@@craigdupree1687 the replacement threw the full 8 pitches to warm up

@@VTCOINJEWELRY That's fine, as long as he doesn't take more. This is the sub rule 3.1.2, which you can google on line.

    Can a pitcher wear sunglasses?

Yes, so long as they aren't deemed distracting by the plate umpire.
Generally, if they aren't black and non-reflective, I'd say no.
