Nice. My kid has a smaller tandem axel one. It fit a car. We might take it next time we go. The door has a steel frame with aluminum clad wood inserts.
Nice, yea this door is rectangular steel tubing with 3/4” plywood on top, I am going to add a couple tubes where the tires ride and hopefully that will take care of the flexing.
Nice trailer Jeff! We still go back n forth on TOAD vs enclosed trailer. An air cooled car could make a nice TOAD, but we’re not so sure about modern stuff and all the supplemental braking systems involved. Great video 😎
Yea, we bought our SUV and it definitely cannot be flat towed, so trailer it is. Plus I really need to get the tools out of the bus, I am a bit overweight on the front axle.
Yea, I wanted a 22’ trailer but they just are not as common as the 24’. Should be around 68’, 40’ for bird and 28’ from hitch to the back door of the trailer.
Nice trailer! But they are made sooo cheap, and still pricey. Check all the wire connections now while you are working on it and have the hubs open. After 1 year with mine, never towing in winter, a handfull of the connections failed, both brakes and lights. Poor workmanship and cheap butt connectors, wire thru holes with burrs, etc. Super frustrating when you are ready to go, do your light check/ brake check and something not working. And those things are too low to just crawl under.
Yea I have already found stuff I do not like on the wiring. They used those clip on wire connectors, I do not like them, they usually fail and cut through the wire from vibration. I do see actual grommets in several holes through the steel so I am hopeful they did that at least. I looked at a couple of nicer trailers but just could not stomach the price tag, one was a Featherlite and would have been more than double what I paid for this trailer.
I'm jealous. Just what I will be wanting in a couple of months. Good find!
Thanks Bill! I have been looking for a while now and it’s been hard to find what I wanted, this was pretty close to what I wanted.
Nice buy! Gonna be real nice all fixed up!
Thanks Wes, I am going to be happy when I get my tools set-up in the trailer and get some weight off the front axle of the bus.
What a nice trailer!! Those tires will last so much longer than the cheaper ones. The PO obviously never reset the wheel bearings. Thanks Jeff!
Thanks for watching! Yea, it was loose and you could see the tire had been scrubbing.

That's gonna be a full size rig! 65 foot overall?
