You are truly a jack of all trades Jeff! I am almost done replacing the front hub seals, airbags, and brake air feed lines on our Bird. Your videos helped guide me through that:)
Thanks, yea well some folks do not know that working on these RVs is actually just a side gig for me, I work full time for an industrial electrical contractor and have been an electrician for over 20 years now. So this makes these electrical projects a little easier for me to do with my background.
I have been on the Bird project every day for the last two months trying to make a launch deadline. My wife is doing a lot of the interior work. She calls it Bluebird Boot camp! I'm more mechanical and paint, good at 12 bolt, 120 not so much:)
So many questions! Does the new inverter replace the transfer switch? What are all those relays and circuits you reinstalled for? What do they do? I’m looking at the victron quattro and wondering how its install compares to yours.
So all the relays you see on top are factory in the original system. I did not change any of those, other than how they are controlled. The relays act as a sort of transfer switch system and a inverter transfer switch all in one. The inverter was also built into this system, so all I really did was replace the inverter/charger that was inside with a new inverter/charger. I posted more about this on the IRV2 American Coach forum: www.irv2.com/forums/f107/heart-source-manager-20-replacement-470989-8.html#post6559045
Very nice job Jeff!! Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Another video coming with as Paul Harvey would say “The Rest Of The Story”!

Awesome install and mod!
Thanks, it was a good job. Unfortunately it had to be done twice but it happens!
