I love they drew the sign like it's a missile radar on a submarine. Gun fact about snap dragons. If you gently squeeze the sides of a snap dragons flower you can make it move it's "mouth" and "talk'.
Don't let Jun being so psyched and proud about the almonds pairing well with the strawberries go unnoticed, that was such a cute and relatable moment (i like cooking for my loved ones as well)
What a beautiful and relaxing video of such an amazing place. The architecture that they make to look ancient adds to the wonderful vibe this flower park gives off. It even has animals there! It seems like this is the kind of place where you can make several visits because there is so much to see. The rumba lawn mower for a fun little find! LOL. You chose perfect music for this environment :)
The key to healthy roses is calcium. Roses are actually carnivorous plants. Those twisted thorny vines are meant to ensnare animals that come to eat their flowers and rose hips. The more the animals thrash, the more entangled they become. They die in that place and their bones feed the roses.
This should have been a Valentine’s Day video! The pretty flowers, the calm music and the romantic food/boxu scene. It literally looked like the most romantic first date ever!
Langue de chat is french it literally means Cat's tongue. It's funny because "donner sa langue au chat" which means "giving your tongue to the cat" is an expression you use when someone ask you to guess something but you don't know the answer so you say "je donne ma langue au chat". Don't know why it's the name of a snack thought. Also this video was really nice, I'm studying for an important test and this was so relaxing !
We also have a similar expression in spanish, we say "¿Te comió la lengua el gato?" which means "Did the cat eat you tongue?". It so cool how many things we share.
I wonder why there are so many idioms and phrases in relation to cats and tongues lol. But it's really cool how languages across the globe are so different but at the same time so similar to each other.
I was just thinking about how much I missed your adventures out into the Japanese countryside… Then I open RUclips and see this video! Thank you so much!!
This video makes me realize how much warmer Fukuoka's climate is than that of the Netherlands. You have rose gardens in full bloom while the trees are only starting to leaf out here.
Aww, thanks for taking us along with you guys, it was as relaxing to watch. May I request that next year - a long way away from lockdown life - you will take us along with yous, to watch the sakura season? (hanami?). Appreciated. We only go to see a wooden cat today! Sounds like you guys are favouring a traditional cottage garden for your new home, and/or a walled garden with an arch covered in climbing roses
Fluffy green bush is papyrus. Also great during hot climates as they turn golden brown (they're not dead). Haku and Nagi might blend into it though. They do grow pretty long if not maintained. You can also make paper with them.
@@gracehaven5459 Oh I know. I'm from the Great Lakes so I defintly know that this is nearly every Midwestern reaction. "OMG it's green not mud or snow." I just think it's funny how most of the comments find this behavior "unusual". .
I love climbing roses! My abuela had a rusty gross chainlink fence and I planted climbing roses next to it, maybe 10 feet apart each. Every time I visited her I took any branches that were growing away from the fence and carefully wove them into the fence a little. She passed away in 2014, and her house was sold, and I haven't been back over there, but if the people who bought the house didn't like roses, they would have needed to rip out the whole fence because the roses were there 9 years and well fertilized and they were very much part of the fence. There are a couple of styles of roses you can buy: climbing, bush, and carpet (plus "tree" roses which are just long stems with roses on top, but those are grafted). The nice thing about getting a variety is that you have roses down low, in the middle, and up high. Some of the climbing ones have a really strong fragrance too!
Pure hapiness to have another episode of Rachel and Jun's Adventures today! I love the fact that they love flowers and respect so much animals and nature. I am currently also looking to plant my garden and I found something really cute on Amazon, called bee mixture. It has the most beautiful mixture of flowers and it helps the bees with polarization. Kisses from Luxembourg 🇱🇺😘💖
Fun fact! The fake ruins found in a lot of gardens are called follies! They can be anything from gazebos to ruins to hidden patios, there are a lot of awesome and beautiful ideas and they're great for all sizes of garden, you've just got to know where to put them! Also the roses that grow sort of along the walls are trained climbing roses (I believe, I'm not 100% sure) which is done by sort of holding the young branches against the wall with thin wires. I'm sure that's not the only method, but it's the one I've seen! Good luck with your garden to whomever may read this :D
Between the music, the beautiful flowers, the mountains, and the lovely looking picnic lunch, I’m getting such strong Studio Ghibli vibes. It makes my heart sing 🌸
Thank you so much, Rachel and Jun, for taking us with you on this trip. I absolutely and genuinely enjoyed every bit of this. I will definitely go there someday.
I love when you share videos like this because it reminds me that even with all the crazy stuff going on in our world, there's still so much good ❤ it soothes my soul 💕
I've been looking at houses in Sweden, and every listing (before winter) I would see the roomba's for grass in EVERY listing, it kept blowing my mind! Most of them built teeny tiny little awnings or shelters for them too lol so cute
So... just in case you weren't aware, the garden shown at 16:20 (where you said that was how you wanted your garden to look), is what's typically called "french cottage garden" style. There's also "english cottage garden" which is very similar, but typically sliiiiightly more formal. I really think that cottage gardens with hints of japanese style could look INCREDIBLE and I really hope you show us how you both design and lay out your garden step by step :) Pinterest can be an amazing resource for gardening too, just in case you're not using it for that, yet.
The flowers at 16:39 are lupins! I remember when I lived on the west coast of Canada, they were seen almost like weeds, a wildflower that spread easily. They'd grow along the side of the highways-- pretty, but generally not valued. Then on the west coast of Canada, you can buy seeds for them and plant them to enjoy as a flower, and it was such a weird difference! Amazing to see a whole vast garden of them!
I found myself starting to say "it's almost like an anime" when they were in the field of blue flowers, and I stopped myself because that's a dumb thing to say. This park probably inspired some beautiful floral scenes I've seen and that's why my brain went there. Also, Australia (from my understanding) only has one flamingo in the whole country who's really old and lives in the Adelaide Zoo. Once he dies that will be it because Australia's import laws forbid more being imported. I've visited Chile, he's a lovely old man. The crazy thing is, according to the fossil record Australia had something like 6 species of flamingos up until a million years ago when the climate changed and drought became more common. They're still listed as an Australian bird in some books because a flamingo turned up on one of the offshore islands and just hung out for a few months. Maybe they'll be back one day.

Japan seems like such a beautiful place. The park gives me serenity and I'm only watching a video. I can't imagine the peace I'd feel in person.
The fountain's just shy.
Fountain: okay, no one's here *is functioning*
Also Fountain: OH NO There's people! *shuts off*
I love how wholesome this video is, just two people reminding us to stop and smell the roses 🥰
I love they drew the sign like it's a missile radar on a submarine.
Gun fact about snap dragons. If you gently squeeze the sides of a snap dragons flower you can make it move it's "mouth" and "talk'.
I LOVE making snapdragons go "RAWR!" :D
Don't let Jun being so psyched and proud about the almonds pairing well with the strawberries go unnoticed, that was such a cute and relatable moment (i like cooking for my loved ones as well)
Rachel's outfit 🔥🔥
Your pfp 😭😭😭🤚

"THERES BEEN A MURDER....... of CROWS!"
10 out of 10 good pun
What a beautiful and relaxing video of such an amazing place. The architecture that they make to look ancient adds to the wonderful vibe this flower park gives off. It even has animals there! It seems like this is the kind of place where you can make several visits because there is so much to see. The rumba lawn mower for a fun little find! LOL. You chose perfect music for this environment :)
From 16:30 mark I found very therapeutic with the lovely music 💕
14:12 the way expressed how intrigued he was at that moment was very softly spoken.
y'all just took us on your lil date and we love it
I love it when Rachel makes Jun smile so big 🥰
The key to healthy roses is calcium. Roses are actually carnivorous plants. Those twisted thorny vines are meant to ensnare animals that come to eat their flowers and rose hips. The more the animals thrash, the more entangled they become. They die in that place and their bones feed the roses.
This should have been a Valentine’s Day video! The pretty flowers, the calm music and the romantic food/boxu scene. It literally looked like the most romantic first date ever!
I feel so at peace anytime you two post anything. This felt like a cinematic experience, I just love your channel so much.
I was watching the cat cage video again and then I got the notification and was like 👁👄👁
GOOD NEWS, we're trying to build something for our cats again next video, so you'll have something new to watch soon, haha
@@RachelandJunAdventures IS IT A CATIO?😱😍
I was watching Juns curry video🤣🤣 thats so cool
We don't have a house yet to add a catio onto, hahah
@@RachelandJunAdventures whatever it is it will be amazing!
ummmm, why is no one talking about Rachel LOOKING SO GOOD IN THAT JACKET GURL YEEESSS, the HAIR, the LOOKS!!!
In English, there is the saying, "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?"
We also have a similar expression in spanish, we say "¿Te comió la lengua el gato?" which means "Did the cat eat you tongue?". It so cool how many things we share.
The original shape of a Langue de Chat is supposed to resemble a cat's tongue.
There's an Arabic expression هل أكلت القطة لسانك؟ " did the cat eat your tongue "when you ask someone to confess something and they refuse to answer.
I wonder why there are so many idioms and phrases in relation to cats and tongues lol. But it's really cool how languages across the globe are so different but at the same time so similar to each other.
I don't know after how long are we seeing Rachel and Jun go on a date, kinda makes my life complete again. Love you guys❤️
you know what’s more beautiful than those pretty flowers? rachel and jun’s love for each other 🥺
It feels like you’ve entered a new phase and it feels like you’re both more comfortable. And I’m here for it!
I was just thinking about how much I missed your adventures out into the Japanese countryside… Then I open RUclips and see this video! Thank you so much!!
Yes. Me too. I watch their old videos from two days ago and think, "Miss them"
Those roombas for grass are called robomowers. really handy once you set it up the first time. set and forget.
Sadly no 1 reason of death on hedgehogs in my country. They don't know it's dangerous and get ran over and shredded to pieces. I do not recommend.
@@hanneler3716 oh my god that is horrible! Thank you for saying this. I'll never buy one now, unless they make it safe for hedgehogs.
@@hanneler3716 oh my god that’s so cruel! Poor things they can’t even understand what kills them.
I noticed that the camera quality looked absolutely beautiful!
Fluffy green bush is papyrus. Also great during hot climates as they turn golden brown (they're not dead). Haku and Nagi might blend into it though. They do grow pretty long if not maintained. You can also make paper with them.
Rachel's Midwest is showing. I feel like allot of Midwesterner's act like this in the springtime when flowers finally get growing in the parks🌸🏵🌼
We can't help it we like flowers!! It's because the weather is usually horrible in the Midwest! 😂🌷🌼🥀🌻🌹
@@gracehaven5459 Oh I know. I'm from the Great Lakes so I defintly know that this is nearly every Midwestern reaction. "OMG it's green not mud or snow."
I just think it's funny how most of the comments find this behavior "unusual".
.
@@ladywoodelf weather is weird in the midwest. Snowed here last week now it's really hot and humid
Isn't Rachel from Texas?
Rachel and Jun reviewing snacks and pointing at cute plants :') this is comfort content
i’ve had the most awful day today but i guess the gods gave me one good thing in the form of a new r&j video!
God bless you. Hang on, friend. Everything changes. 🙏🏼
i hope your next day is better!
That's life
I love climbing roses!
Yes they do have "Roomba's" for grass. Automated lawn mowers are awesome
Watching Rachel and Jun marvel at nature and scenery makes me appreciate everything I'm seeing a lot more!
Rachel being excited about a normal lawn mower is so funny and adorable.
I love that the little robot grass lawnmower had a little wooden house to go to sleep in and charge! So cute
Every time you upload, it's just another fun and wholesome adventure (or not adventure)! Either way, it's just so freaking wholesome!
Rachel looks like a disney character… she’s so beautiful i love her
I love when you share videos like this because it reminds me that even with all the crazy stuff going on in our world, there's still so much good ❤ it soothes my soul 💕
Rachel is so pretty! Her hair goes beautifully with the green and the flowers!
I've been looking at houses in Sweden, and every listing (before winter) I would see the roomba's for grass in EVERY listing, it kept blowing my mind! Most of them built teeny tiny little awnings or shelters for them too lol so cute
The grass grows like crazy during summer due to the amount of sunlight. The grass roombas look cutest when protected by little red houses
So... just in case you weren't aware, the garden shown at 16:20 (where you said that was how you wanted your garden to look), is what's typically called "french cottage garden" style. There's also "english cottage garden" which is very similar, but typically sliiiiightly more formal. I really think that cottage gardens with hints of japanese style could look INCREDIBLE and I really hope you show us how you both design and lay out your garden step by step :)
Pinterest can be an amazing resource for gardening too, just in case you're not using it for that, yet.
This is one of the most beautiful videos on the entire internet
Man does Rachel look beautiful in this video. The lighting under those trees while you guys were eating almost made her look like a fairy or an angel
This garden looks like a whole ghibli film 😍
The flowers at 16:39 are lupins! I remember when I lived on the west coast of Canada, they were seen almost like weeds, a wildflower that spread easily. They'd grow along the side of the highways-- pretty, but generally not valued. Then on the west coast of Canada, you can buy seeds for them and plant them to enjoy as a flower, and it was such a weird difference! Amazing to see a whole vast garden of them!
It's beautiful..ty Rachel and Jun for sharing this place with us.
I was having a bad day until i took a break and watched this... your videos bring me so much joy and comfort ! Thank you
I'm so in love with the music choice and all these lovely flowers. This is so beautiful. UGH I cannot wait to experience this.
I swear everything in Japan is just so beautiful.
“Happy birthday! I love you.”
Omg. You two are precious. 🥺
