I think a see mahogany at minute 00:33. That would mean it's not a 1976 but early 1975 at the latest. In 1975 the Les Paul changed to a three-piece maple neck.

New album has drop C hahah and a few songs where they drop the low E string to A.
But I get what he means. It is nice to see them experiment a bit with tunings.
