    Did you cut off tail and face and did you cut out the "dead mans fingers" because I didn't see you do it. I was taught to get rid of e 3 items before I did any prepping 👍🏻

      +ninpoukobanashi You are right...most recipes do breaded or dusted in flour. I find them so delicious that the simpler the better.

    Only thing I would add on a soft shell cook is to make sure people know to check for and clean out the lungs if that wasn’t done.

    I tried your recipe. Absolutely delicious! Only regret I had was I either used too much wine (1 cup) or I did not cook the alcohol out enough. Regardless I loved it and your recipe was simply a delight!

      You probably didn't cook it off enough, try again and you will taste the difference. I love soft shell crab ❤😋

    Dude! I was 33 seconds into the video when I had an epiphany, realizing this is an awesome recipe. Oh how I could make variations on this recipe! And "no freaking breading" to wasted flavor and resources on.

      i never understood the breading of soft shells....i love this with a green salad! or even a little couscous to soak up the sauce.....

      I wanted to know if I covered some softshell crabs in OBAY SEASONING
      can I just fry them in the pan with OLIVE OIL. How long do I have to fry them to be fully cooked?

    No lemon in your sauce? Needs more butter too. Very thin. And pepper flakes with your garlic

      ha! i think you are right! More Butter = More Better. and a little heat would be nice! will try that next time. but OMG soft shell crabs around here have gone crazy through the roof in price! 💲💲💲

    I do not like breading or frying so I am using this recipe tomorrow. Thinking about a side of angel hair pasta. Can I increase the amount of wine and butter to have sauce for the paste?

    WOW!! My mouth is watering!! I just ordered soft shell crabs from "The Crab Place" I found on the internet, as supermarkets in my area don't carry them. I have ordered from this company B4, and everything has always been GREAT!!

    These are so expensive now!!! I remember about 10 years ago when these were less than a dollar per crab.

      Z Jones , you can buy them frozen ..find a good fish guy or a good asian store . also buy in season alot cheaper
