- In this video I hang out with my good friend International Stacker as we attempt to find as many penny smashing machines that we can. International Stacker has been silver stacking for many years and has produced many silver stacking and silver investing videos over the years. We met up and had some fun in this vlog style video putting silver coins into penny smashing machines. I have been smashing silver coins for many years and I have many different designs. So much fun!! I've been collecting smashed pennies since I was a kid, and years ago started doing them also in silver. I also do them with junk silver dimes, (Barber, Mercury, Roose). They are smaller so don't get the full length of the smash, but leave gorgeous designs. You can make out the markings of the coin, obverse/reverse design, dates etc. Sometimes the machines accept them sometimes they don't... I sit there jiggling it until it works!

Question, isn’t silver consumed? If silver is a finite element, and gets consumed, won’t that naturally drive up the value and price of silver over time?
Compare that to gold which never gets consumed?
