- 255/40/17 Falken RT660 on 17x9 (mid 2022 date codes...)
- Ohlins DFV Road & Track coilovers with off-the-shelf 8k/5k springs and valving
- OEM airbox (no more noise maker intake!)
- FAL420 cooling fans (OEMs were dying)
- EBC yellowstuff brake pads

- Foot cam is a $45 cheapie Akaso EK7000 mounted with a clamp on bottom of steering column

The car control is insane 😳 You didn't leave anything out there, amazing drive. Wish the WRX could handle rotation as gracefully.

The RX-8 feels like cheating! long wheel base, central mass makes it easy to slide as you point out.

it came together nicely. as always, still some time left on the table. but i'll take it.

Thinking off blending e85 and using af ratios from torque app to get leaner from 11:1 full throttle, Stock tune. What do you think?

i had good results with Versatuner to lead out the factory high RPM richness. The OEM tune is pretty lean from say 3,000-5,000 rpms, then it gets progressively richer. I've heard rx8s getting good result with E85 and tunes, but i think it might make the car more difficult to start when it's cold outside.
