Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any help you can offer me
@Cain Rory Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
A colleague showed interest in my mechanical watches, so I lent him a few in different styles so he could see what he preferred over time. He eventually ended up getting one of these, on my recommendation, and he’s absolutely delighted with it.
Jomashop had one of these on sale for $239 after a $20 coupon discount so I just ordered one for my collection of mainly Seiko and Hamilton watches. This is a lot of watch for the price and I think to looks are stunning.
A very nice review of a very nice watch. I love its size, movement, and overall design. For under $500, it's a very good value. What I don't like are the 22 mm lugs and the date window, which I think could be narrower (like half the size), which I think would still make the design look good and make more sense.
Terrific video work! You pushed me over the edge on this one. It's ordered and on the way. The style, size and unique look with the day date arrangement is perfect! Looking forward to seeing it in person and getting lots of wear out of it.
I owned one and can tell you without hesitation it wears much smaller than the pictures and this video makes it out to be. I'm a 6 3/4 wrist and it looked waaaaay too small for my liking. I hope it's different for you but don't be shocked if it's not. I ended up selling it for a loss because I took the tags and plastic off, otherwise, I would have just returned it.
@@timothy9596 should be here in a few weeks so we shall see. I have a feeling that it will be fine as I have a watch with a 36mm case and that's probably as small as I would go. So 38mm should be ok.
@@timothy9596 Well it actually arrives today, earlier than expected and I can confirm that the size is perfect. This is just a terrific watch. I really like it alot.
Sold, man. I’d been searching for something like this that wasn’t a Seiko SNK (great watch but more fit for the field and cannot be dressed up) and I just bought this Tissot based on this review. And more research. Tl:dr Always do your research before buying. That may be more for me than anyone else.
They had a sale at jomashop and I ordered mine yesterday. Mine is the Couturier black face and it has some cool yellow/orange (?) stitching on the strap. Out the door, with a 2 year extended warranty, for $330. I can't wait to see it in person
I have this watch it's great as described. Also, the comments about the 22mm bracelet is accurate. I replaced it. It wears too big and heavy with no taper. Must be one of the best values < $500. I paid $265-Amazon.
What sparked my interest was seeing Jimmy Stewart in a film, I believe was "Rear Window," wearing a Tissot. I liked the fact that it was Swiss made. I own a 1995 Seiko Automatic that runs perfectly with only one watch jeweler visit. However, many Seiko watches are being manufactured in Asia, specifically being assembled with Chinese parts and my experience was not good. The Seiko Grand watches are VERY pricey for me. This just seems to be a good fit for me.
Great review just picked one up. If you condition your leather shoes you can use some on your leather bands too so they don't crease or crack, just a tip. Thanks for the vid
Hi man, great review. Love how you pointed out clear pros and cons. Two questions: where'd you get that new metal strap at the 15:24 mark? I'm looking for that exact same strap style, does it have a name? Thanks!
excellent video and awesome timepiece, you just lured me to get one... now, i just found one with black dial with leather strap and a white dial with steel bracelet, both for a similar price, which one would you choose?
Just ordered mine last night, the t035, I’ve been reading about the leather strap not being comfortable or fitting right, hoping I’ll be able to make due or find a bracelet for cheap. I paid 219 after coupon, it’s amazing how much quality you get for under 250
I have that watch, with the eta 2824-2, and I prefer it to the powermatic 80. It’s just a 28.8 movement limited to 21.6 to extend the power reserve. At 38 hours reserve I’m fine. Got it for 80$ cad at a jewelers who was clearing old inventory.
@@wayneturner1336 why do you prefer the higher beat? Honestly I like the aesthetic look of this newer version better with black day and date wheels under the dial.
@@excelsiortrading8050 I like the smooth movement of the second hand, otherwise it’s like taking a 6 cylinder and pulling out two pistons so you can get a little bit better mileage and sacrifice the smooth ride. It’s just my opinion, I think it’s an interesting idea, it’s just not my thing.
thats a very sexy watch. It looks good, feels good to wear and with the powermatic 80 it has a pretty decent clockwork. Still dont know how it can be so cheap. I imported mine from the US for ~300$ with shipping included. In german shops it costs about 700€
I have one and like it. I have an issue with the band too. In my case it is too small. There is no adjustment other than to add or remove links. To me this is a hassle. I need to get a link and install it or buy another band. The way it is I cannot wear it.
I just broke down and purchased one from jomashop they are having a summer sale and got this on the leather for $318 shipped. So my goal here is I love day/date automatics and I really wanted the best made and durable day/date on the market, I think I'm gonna like this just a bit more than my Hamilton KK. Just because the dial is a bit cleaned up and it's a smidge larger in the looks department and I kinda feel like my khaki King looks just a hint dainty on my average wrist, so I think I'm going to be very pleased at this purchase and if you can grab one for $400 or less I think every watch collector should snap one up..I mean I was sold on watching one on eBay for the last week at like $420 and was waiting for this payday and just for the hell I searched it and seen the jomashop summer sale knocking a hundred more off the price tag and I couldn't hit the buy button fast enough 😂🤣😂
You weren't kidding about that bracelet. It's monstrous on my little over 7 inch wrist. Weird decision by Tissot but not a deal breaker. Easy fix. I got the Couturier in a white dial, btw. Was having the bracelet sized at a jeweler and spent my time staring at a case of Rolexes and Tudors while I waited. When I got the Tissot back I was amazed how better it looked than those timepieces that cost over 6000 dollars! It is an absolute pleasure.
Watching this video b/c the white version of this watch is available on Ashford right now for $249.99, for the next 5 hours (it's Dec 3, 2021 as I write). Price is right, but just trying to figure out whether I can justify yet another watch purchase.
brother, Ashford is reliable, I have seen good watches at good prices but it has always been difficult for me to decide to buy, I can't find much information about the site on the internet and it scares me that they are not original
i like this watch. i may get one to use as a dress / explorer watch since it is 100m. Sometimes i run a 20mm strap on my 22mm watches. Just because 22 is so damn wide. Nobody notices the 2mm gap anyway.
Beautiful watch! I have a question. I bought a Tissot From 2014 with a sapphire crystal. The crystal is so thin, I mean when I tap it with with my finger nail it has a ting sound like a mineral crystal would. Do you find the same with you Tissot?

I think The Tissot and Swiss Watches are more accurate as a whole than the standard Seiko watches, but I am also a big Seiko fan. Especially the Grand Seikos
So you don’t need to wind the watch no? Because of the automatic winding I’m no expert I’m just wondering why you keep repeating that you manually wind. P.S do you think it would look good with a red band like Mr.Wonderful? I’m really thinking about that set up for mine once’s it arrives ♥️
