Hey brother, any idea if this bracelet fits the Orient Kanno?

I just bought one of those from Ali...I've been looking at the Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical for a while but cant justify the price tag (650 euro for the 38mm,750 for the 41mm). For a wind only movement in such a simple watch is too much, plus i havent heard good things about it, i've encounter folks that had them fail and service was expensive. I much prefer abusing a 55 euro watch that looks the same than a finicky expensive one.Maybe i buy a Hamilton in the end or maybe i like this cheap one so much and call it a day. At present I would recommend this inexpensive Chinese watch over the Hamilton. I owned two Hamilton Khaki watches. The one that was quartz had a sapphire crystal that broke on its own (believe or not). The one with the Swiss ETA mechanical movement stopped working after two years of gentle wear. The bezel has a wire in it. You can pop it off and adjust the tension in wire. That will keep it from being loose.

Nice, but personally, I would rather buy this particular military design from a brand that actually has a history of issuing this watch to soldiers, I.e. Bulova, Benrus, Hamilton, or Timex. And if I am pressed for cash, then I’m going with the Bulova or Timex.

I discovered that Marc from Long Island Watch offered this bracelet for only $59, so I bought it (and the same for an Orient Kamasu). Very nice combo, and very informative video about my choice. VH31 is a great movement, happy to see more watches using it, but I wish, wish _wish_ it had a date function. IMO, no watch should be without a date function. If this is supposed to be some everyday, muh rugged, tOoL wAtCh, a constant companion, then it really needs to have a date. It's a fundamental function right up there with being a time telling tool watch.

The a168 was first released in 1995 but it's the same design as the 80's Casio watches

My only criticism is the logo. It looks a little frilly for a field watch to me. I wish they offered a sterile version like Tandorio does.

Been my GADA watch for over a year, all I bring when I leave the country for a few months, and what I wear the majority of the time I got both Marks bracelets, tons of Barton elite straps, leather straps, it does great on everything. Also super accurate, got 10 ish watches, mostly mechanical, but none can beat this guy for me. I adore it ☺️

If it’s a watch on a bracelet, you’d need to put a partition of sorts between the caseback and bracelet. Otherwise, the inside of your bracelet and the backside of the caseback will suffer many new scratches.
