Nice one David unfortunately a lot of people don't see what we see and don't want to believe that a managed habitat for any kind of game is better for all wildlife its all here because of what is managed.

I'm a city boy but i love the country way and i spend as much time as i can doing the things i love. No anti is going to change my mind whatsoever. My shooting is my passion and i always look forward to the weekend when i can escape from the work and just enjoy what we have.

All involved in moorland management do a wonderful job to protect and enhance this landscape at considerable expense and as a retired land agent, I particularly hope that the threats to good management practice do not gain any further traction.

Moor management, bird rearing , keepers and underkeepers, plus a whole other bunch of hidden expenses in these times is a costly old game. For a well earned profit to be made this kind of shooting aint going to be cheap. After all its a buisness , If you can afford it, do it if you cant , you cant, same as anything else in life. Every bloke on that more has no doubt EARNED his right to be there. And thats the way it should be.

Loved the way you picked all the long birds David , all killed stone dead ,proves the nay sayers wrong again . I consistently see many many more birds pricked on average height birds 20 /35yrd by your barely competent average shots .
