Thank you for the awesome demo! I received my preordered 7000 yesterday and am both scared and excited to use it. I upgraded from the Pfaff Coverlock 4.0 after only one year, a year of swearing and ranting about the complexity of switching from coverlock to overlock and back! With this new-found confidence I think I'll go make some new shirts for the gym on my new machine! Thank you again!
@@atekandi6715 I found the threading of the Coverlock 4.0 very difficult and time consuming so I just left it in Coverlock mode and used my old Singer 3 thread serger for overlock duties. The air threading system makes the 7000 MUCH more user friendly. It's pricey at $3999 but this machine has already gotten more use than the 4.0!!!
Great video but, there could be some better closeups. Dropping the looper your hand was in the way. I'm excited about this machien but would like to see the stitches and how it sews on different materials not just the sample from the factory
Oh, that's a good debate! We do love the purple on the Pfaff. ;) Both machines will be pretty similar. We carry the Pfaff Admire 7000, and have loved how it runs! The lighting is great, air-threading is a splendid upgrade, and the extension table is so helpful!
Nice demo, I did not see the stitches you serge on the white on white. For a effective demo I suggest different colors. Some of the steps not clear. Besides the scissor placement takes away from the objective of the demo. This needs improvements. The 7000 is a fantastic Serger and it needs to be treated it as such. Thank you.
Hi, not being a jerk, but if you actually use the little thing that looks like a pen cap appendage, you don't have to fuss as much pulling the thread for the piercing needles. You don't have to try and get the loop and pull. Just insert in the loop, and drag it all the way until the tail is through the eye of the needle.
Thank you, just got mine Monday, now I’m ready to sew !
Watching this honestly inspires me to create my own jeans and outerwear.

Cool sewing machine! Thanks.
Thanks so much
I had to watch you again. I enjoy your valuable information. I'm trying to decide between this one and the Juki mo 2000qvp. This helps.

Help me decide between the Pfaff and Viking s600! Which would you choose?

You're saying 'woops' a lot. Baby Lock is far easier and more intuitive and the stitches are far more consistent
