I'm actually a Brown Switch user, Outemu brown to be exact, and lemme tell y'all something... Build quality plays a way, WAY bigger role than people give it credit for, a full metal keyboard frame or any frame made of quality materials is gonna do WONDERS to the feels of your switches, mine is fully made out of metal and browns sounds and feels so good.

Everyone seems to complain about browns tactile weakness while completely ignoring the fact that some of us like them because the tactile event, actuation and release are all in the same (or very close) location. If you actually want super browns try a Durock medium tactile.
The glorious pandas are in way a little closer to the originals than anything else out there. The top and bottom housings as well as the contact leaves were made with the same tooling Invyr used to make the original panda switches. You drop a legit halo stem on there and they're some mold wear apart from being original holy pandas.
Alright well now it's time to mix a blue berry stem with a "panda" housing to get rid of the dam scratchy cream housing.

"holy" indicates the use of a halo stem, which isnt the case with these switches. however, they DO use a panda housing, meaning its a combination of brown and panda.
Holy Browns would be brown stems in a halo housing. These are poopy pandas.

What if you put a heavier spring? Would that (in theory) make it more tactile? Or am I wrong, please educate me
Actually the opposite. Lighter springs tend to make it more "tactile" in a sense. This explanation was taken from a keyboard post relating to the topic on the internet:
Heavier springs will not make them more tactile. It will make them less. The resistance of a switch is caused by 2 factors. The spring, and the interaction between the stem and the leaf contacts. The spring is linear always. The force between the stem and contacts changes over the lengths of the press due the shape of the stem and is what causes the tactile feeling. Using a heavier spring won't change the shape of the stem. It will add additional force to the whole of the switch meaning stem/contact force is proportionally smaller. In short the force of a stronger spring drowns out the tactile feed back force.
This description, in my opinion, seems true as I've tried heavier springs on the same switch. I think a good sweet spot for most tactiles is 62 - 67 grams
