@@Aquarirus it's sad seeing his videos now, I remember when he was honest, now he looks like any clickbaity RUclipsr apart from his Among Us video, which is sad because I loved him as a child
Right @ 3:00 into it where you have the SP-upper half and the gba matching the cuts and whatnot, it gave me an idea that I've never seen anywhere in the Nintendo handheld modding community ever that I can recall. It would be super awesome (admittedly surely not easy though!) to attach the casing like you're doing here for the upper screen, but instead of filling in the original gba screen, leave it open for 2 screens, and try to see if you can shove a ds lite in that form factor, i would definitely love to see that come to life!
He definitely needs a bit of practise with it judging by some of his dremel work but you can already see how it's enabled him to accomplish more in projects like this.
4:45 Mark Rober? Is that you? Lol The RUclips royalty-free music cracks me up. Depending on who uses, which ones they use and when they use it becomes almost like a content creator's auditory fingerprint Awesome build by the way!!
6:28 - If you hadn't pointed the mark out, I wouldn't have noticed it. You did a fantastic job with it and it was incredible to see this Dream Game Boy Advance in action. A bright screen with comfortable shoulder buttons; truly the best of both worlds!
When your working with Bondo don't be afraid to start sanding a little bit sooner than you think you should. The material will be hard enough to not lose form but soft enough to knock down easily. The other thing I would suggest in the future, pun intended, is to use some sort of block when you sand. It will provide a solid flat surface that yields excellent uniform results across a flat surface like the top of the bottom shelf. Otherwise this is a quirky little unique build and it looks good.
You’ve really reignited my passion for retro gaming. It’s been a passive concept in the back of my head for a while but watching more and more of these videos makes me realize what I’m missing out on. Thanks for al your hard work!
