Thank you SO MUCH for posting these videos, I am so glad I found them today!! I am, (as of 9/8) 18 days post-implant surgery and still have a lot of swelling and discomfort and struggling with seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Your videos are helping me see that progress WILL happen. Your smile is beautiful, and, now, mine is, too!! :)
One more thing, I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry about your son & his struggles. I guess what they say what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger! You're a great person, & it sounds like you & your hubby are great parents, so I have no doubt that he will prosper in any endeavor.

I'm getting dr Golpa up & lower (plus 27 extractions) on may 21st! I'm TERRIFIED! Only 48 and worried about appearance, too! But, as I said above, I personally see a HUGE improvement in your lower chin/protrusion area----it looks fantastic & youthful now! Great luck to you!

Wow! I think your lower profile has gotten TREMENDOUSLY better! You look better with these than you did with your perm dentures & that lower "old lady thing" you referred to week one seems 100000000% better! You look GREAT!
Im really happy for you. Its just that here I am 5 yrs later in pain every day with no one to help me due to my poverty status. I am at the point where just getting these teeth cut out of my mouth so I wont be in pain and have constant abcesses would make me so happy. Even if I had to go toothless. I can honestly say this has ruined my life. I have followed you for years and again I am very happy for you/ congratulations on the implants

I love your videos, I too am young going thru this process (24) I just received my implants a month ago, I got 6 on the uppers and 6 on the lowers.Right now I have to wear a normal denture on top until my implants heal (the bone wasnt that strong and i had to get bone grafts) but my lowers are hooked up to the implants (amazing!!) Thanks for sharing your journey, it has truly helped me thru mine

Great you are getting implant supported dentures. You will love the fact that it will be palateless. I, myself have a single implant to replace #24,25.

Typically you get temporary bridges up front and then after the implants have completely integrated with the bone, you get a new bridge. Sort of like getting temporary dentures and then going back for permanent dentures. Whether they cost more depends on where you go for them.
Your implants look great! I am going to your dentist in Jacksonville next week for my surgery. I went last Fri. for the consul, xrays etc. I hope my dentures look as good as your did! I will eventually get implants on the bottom in the future. You look great Kristi!
Hi, I’ve seen lot of your vids but 1st time commenting. OMGGG I’m so glad u mentioned about the saliva. Had my surgery 9 days ago. Swelling is almost gone but OMG the slobbering. Thank God I work from home bcuz I live with a towel next to me. I soak a whole towel in a day n I came from natural teeth to implants. I was beginning to worry about that. And like u mentioned each day is better than the prior.

I agree, you look fabulous Kristi! I really think as time has gone by, that they look better. I just mean better as in you look less stressed & you even said yourself that you feel great. It's like when a woman is pregnant, they have a glow, well you have a "glow" : ) . I know that you now have new bridges in, so I can't wait to see your next vid. As I said, I'm playing catch up w/ you & your website. It's a bit harder to understand since I don't have implants, but I still love to watch.
I am really sorry, I know what you are going through. Do you have state assistance? Have you been to your local health department? Call 2-1-1 and see if they could give you some recommendations. They can usually at least point you in the right direction. I feel for you, I really do. I've been there:-(

That's Dartanian. He's the laziest cat on earth.....except in this video. I promise this is the first time i've seen him this frisky haha. He was frolicking around outside today, as well. He must have his eyes on a new lady or something:-)

I had mine done 9 days ago and am still uncomfortable...I can't wait until the day it doesn't feel like I have something foreign in my mouth and I feel natural...I myself have had no saliva issues...
how many teeth with all on 4 do you get for the top and bottom? is it 12 or 14? I have 28 teeth all together because I had wisdom teeth removed. if you have 12 on the top and 12 on the bottom can people see that if you open your mouth wide?

I am in week three and I still have pain...I had full implants upper and lower the same day. Did you have pain and discomfort too?
Is your case all on 4? Its odd they asked you not to bite on the back teeth, that will increase stress on front teeth.
What did you eat when they did this did it suck did you loose weight did you get any good drugs
Is it normal to need new bridges? do you have to pay extra for it? if so, how much does that cost?
So do you have the all on 4 system or dentures supported over implants? There is a HUGE price difference in mexico for both of these services. I am getting total extractions and immediate dentures placed in a month and a half. I have my first video posted on my youtube channel now if you would like to take a look.

What can you eat for the first few weeks after having the implants?
Brian Hamilton you probably want to avoid really tough or crunchy foods in the very beginning. Other than that, you can pretty much eat anything. I had steak the next day, though it was tender.
