I know this is an old video but I've watched so many while unable to sleep. I'm making a consultation this week - I'm a nervous wreck but I know dentures will change my life. How terrible was all of your extractions before they gave you the dentures? I expect pain but I'm terrified. Finding you and your channel has helped me more than I can explain. So thank you!
Thank you so much for that video! I was struggling to find things that I might need to make my start into dentures a bit easier. I ordered some benzodent and it has saved my life lol. My sore spot feels so much better and i bit the bullet and had a soft reline. feels loads better. And I'm only 27 too so i don't really know anyone else personally that has dentures

I was wondering if I could email you a pic of my current, I had immediates put in right after extractions and they have always been crooked. I wanted to know if you could see it. And also, the dentist did a good job putting in the immediates but never mentioned anything about permanent. What should I do? Im switching dentists this week! Thanks a lot!
LOL....omg doesn't scrubbing bubbles smell awesome?!?! I'm a pine sol girl though (total addict lol) so that, of course, was the first thing that popped in my head haha.

Actually they aren't top of the line. Probably the best my dentist had to offer but mine pale in comparison to some of the dentures I've seen out there LOL! The palate is also smooth and no, I can't pass floss between the teeth. This set cost me $2200.

On a scale of 1 to 5, my dentures are a 3 in quality. They are the best I could afford. The only thing I don't like is the smoothless on the roof of the upper denture and the lack of fine detail on the teeth themselves. They are still beautiful when compared to my natural teeth. I know you have top-of-the-line dentures so yours probably have details on the roof of your upper denture. Do they feel more like you natural roof of your mouth? Can you pass dental floss between your teeth?
All I do is brush and clean my dentures with sunlight dish soap then rinse well. Then place into a bath over night in water with a little mouth wash with anti bacterial which most have anyway, this saves money so you don't have to buy special cleaners
when you got your dentures how long did it take u to get use too them .. i'm getting mine nov first and i had my try in yesterday they looked good but just so differant from a partial on top.
LOL! NO! No Pine Sol! I was saying *don't* clean them with Pine Sol haha. When I soak them I soak them in the 3 minute solution..... it's supposed to work in 3 minutes to kill bacteria but I treat it as a regular denture cleanser. As far as scrubbing them with soap, I use either dish detergent or hand soap...nothing with harsh chemicals.....like Pine Sol:-) When I clean them with soap, i'm simply scrubbing them and immediately rinsing. So soak 5-6 hours, then scrub them clean to remove residue.
i finally 6 days ago now got my bottoms pulled and now have my bottom temps and i about 4 weeks now have the top perms. aweek and i can barely wear the bottoms, my gums still hurt very much! i think im healing slower than i did the tops, i thought you had 2 you tube ch, but i cant find it? oh and congrats on baby # 4?
i have had my new dentures now for like a week and a half, i went with out my teeth for nearly a year due to an unqualified oral surgeon who screwed up on pulling more than 30 of my teeth that i didn't think needed to be pulled to begin with, but that is a whole other story. so i never was put into temp. dentures as to having subsequent surgeries done on my mouth. like i said now a year later i now have my dentures and the top ones fit, but when my dentist tried to put the bottoms in, they were too small and didn't go on, so he took his tool and ground the heck out of them for what seemed like forever, and then put them in my mouth and they were so slushy i just couldn't believe it. i said "well now they are way too big" and he said well that is what this stuff is for, and he squeezed a crap ton of fixedent in the lowers and said there you go. they are very pretty, i can now talk and drink water.....but not eat AT ALL WITH THEM i see him again next Friday any suggestions???? mind you i am on disability and am at the mercy of the state and have to see this dentist no other options
I go to Mexico, I have a wonderful dentist there, he is my hero! AND it is a fraction of the price, I will never allow an American dentist to put his or her hands in my mouth EVER again, because of just this,, I had my whole mouth fixed 9 years ago here in the states, and within 2 months started to spit out all of my work that I paid so much money for It broke my heart, because that smile I waited for all of my life,, the one that took months and all of my money ( even though I had dental insurance) was just gone in the matter of two years just GONE,,, Now, I have the most perfect smile in the world,, Go to Mexico,, Los Algodones, Get in touch with Simply Dental, Tell Jasmine Joan sent you. You will be so glad you did.
I have to go to the dentist on the 17 of December and have 12 teeth out and 10 fillings. No one has told me if im getting teeth to leave with or if im going to have to walk arownd with no teeth because some of them are the front ones and im really scared. Can you please message me
Hey girl have you had your baby yet is that you havent put a new post? If you had your baby congrats to you and your family.. You have helped me alot with process and im like you im not going to let my husband see me without my teeth im 26 y/o and gonna wait intil im 70 to let my husband see me without my teeth lol I know that sounds pathetic but cant help it lol!
I had a hard time taking my dentures out at night. I was ashamed to let my girlfriend see me without them, but I had to eventually. Your husband won't care, you're beautiful.
Thanks you have made it a lot easier for this old lady to have her teeth pulled next week. If a young pretty girl like you can do it then so can an old bird like me.
