No one manages to make fun of rotor noise like you do mate! 😆 I absolutely agree with your verdict, the watch does OK for itself. Hardening coating is a stand out feature for this price. If it were a little but smaller, thinner and if it didn't have that day date complication, we'd definitely start talking!

Great watch! The entire build feels way above this price point. I had a green dial in on my channel, but I really like this gray version you have. I thought this strap was really comfortable and fit the overall vibe. Good stuff!
Absolutely! I often think the more solid feeling watches at this sort of price, crucially, don’t come on a bracelet. 🤙🏻 Otherwise, it can be a bit of a different experience, shall we say, not to mention the fact they’ve spent a whole chunk of the budget on the bracelet and the rest has suffered… 😅
I have two Bernys. My favorite watches. A compressor and a Ti/Sapphire dress watch. Great. The rubber strap is useless though because the loops are too big. I got mine caught in my coat sleeve, the watch fell off and hit the ground. Dented the case. Got a decent nylong strap and all is good.
I have this watch, it's absolutely lovely, a real bargain.
I agree about the day/date not being needed, but I can happily live with it.

ive the older compresssor version that says FIRST TIME on the dial n the day date is not brilliant at all but the watch is very good indeed sapphire etc ...now for me no day date would be awesome .... great review

Agree with the opinions on deleting the date window and adding more text above 6. I also think they should shrink "berny" down a bit...it is disproportionately too big. Great review!
Great point, too - I think on some of their other models, with the new kind of shield-looking logo, it does make it look a bit more balanced. But for this text-only dial, it needs shrinking!

The description says 8205. Would it not be the 8215, with the day and date? I find my Miyotas much more accurate than the NH34.

I'm not bothered by the day/date but i'd pay more for a Seiko NH36 movement. I'm waiting a bit before buying one because Berny usually updates their pieces after a while. The name is what it is, anybody want to guess what Rolex stands for? That's right, not a damned thing, it was contrived simply to sound exclusive.
Fair enough, yeah - I must admit, I'd like to see a no-date or smaller date integration, but I'm OK with it being a Miyota. Someone else mentioned a GMT version with the NH34, which would be very tasty indeed. And isn't Rolex just meant to be pronouncable to anyone regardless of their native language? That's the story I heard, anyways.
@@LumePip I have Berny's first compressor with the Miyota and it's only off about a second at day so yeah, at the current price point i have no problems with it But i'd still pay (a bit) more for the Seiko.
Just shows you how much it actually costs to make a decent watch. Everything after is just how much you wanna spend on the dial name
Berny recently released their logo which looks nice. perhaps it would be good to wait if they updated this watch with their logo.
I’m not sure it’s that big an improvement, but admittedly with other brands, I’m a real stickler. There will be some who definitely don’t get much from the current one but for me it’s the actual name itself! 😅 Not that it’s a real dealbreaker given the price

I've got this watch and it's great, however with 7 1/2" wrists the strap only just fits me - I'm literally on the 2nd last hole which isn't ideal.

I think they have one now - it’s on the website, looks like a kind of shield thing. I guess it’s an improvement…but still a shield for defending an old lady called Berny. Thanks for the kind words too! 😅

First video of yours I have watched. Love your style. Subscribed. This watch is a beauty. I am going to wait for version 3 and hope the day date is simply a date. Also hoping for the NH35. Would be better with just the logo as well. Will eventually pick one up if one or two of those things happens. Hopefully Berny is listening!
