In North Carolina, when I lived there. There was a laundromat/bar call Soap N Suds. Where the laundromat was in the back. Each machine had numbers that light up. When you go to the bar in front, there is a number board to look at. When your laundry is done in a machine your number lights up on the board. Where it's time to put in the other machine or take out and fold them. This should be everywhere in the USA. Great name combo as well.

I saw this episode when it first came out. I went to best buy the other day and I saw a washing machine with blue tooth. It let's you know when your clothes are done. My first thought was darn I should have invented that.
I've always poured two lids of fabric softener right after I've shoved the detergent. I think I'm going to stick to this way because I'm too lazy to do it the way Alan said you're suppose to do it. 😂
The problem is when the machine fails to pump, keep your money, and you have nobody to ask what to do, or when you fill the tank and still is gas left you already pay for it, and you have nobody to ask your change back.

I can relate. The first time I had to pump gas was very interesting. It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out. BTW, I was 33 LMAO.
