Yep, made the same mistake myself recently. Never got the "I love you" back. Just an "Awwww shucks" type of reaction. As soon as a woman knows you have real feelings for her, they stop trying to impress you and just close up. As long as you act like you don't care one way or the other, and act as though you have better places to be, then women keep making the effort to win you over and be with you.
She’s actually a pretty good therapist for Charlie, good sense of humor that matches Charlie’s and even better, brutally honest, one of the best things you need in psychology.
It's hard to believe that this lady's not a shrink in real life. And these conversations are comedy gold. The chemistry between these two is award winning on its own.
Sadly that's what my parents marriage was like, but of course when I'm young it was hard to see that. My dad would go to work, and whatever my dad did it was never good enough for mom. Nothing was good enough for mom.
Scott Meckley+ funny thing is my parents marriage it the same too my dad was discipliarian but was such a simp while my mom emasuclate the hell out of him I had to learn about the true nature of women on my own
I LOVE Jane as his shrink! She is TOO FUNNY! They could not have cast a better actress to play this role. She holds her own with Sheen! Together, they are a Riot of Laugh's!!! I love these scene's!
roc muzic I agree. I remember when she guest starred on iCarly as Sam's mother (the first and only time we ever saw her on screen despite being mentioned many times throughout the show) and I was totally able to buy the fact that she would be a dysfunctional parent to Sam. That's how I kinda imagined her mom being like before we actually got to see her. 😮
If the entire show were half scripted, half improvisation between Charlie and his shrink, it's basically all you'd need. They could be the only two characters and it would typify anything that goes on in Charlie's life. Brilliant acting, delivery and dialogue.
Jane's lines are so perfect and perfectly like her that I wouldn't be surprised if she wrote or ad libbed most of them, possibly after a helpful script "reading".
@Phil Parmalee- Absolutely! The lines were brilliant, but her timing and dead pan delivery of the lines was incredibly spot-on and very funny! I'm guess the ptb with award shows didn't like this show BUT she should have got an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Show!!
I had seen Lynch in only bit parts here and there over the years and was STUNNED at how naturally funny she was on this show! Had I not seen her in this hilarious part on 2 and 1/2 men first, I might have been surprised by how funny she is on Glee!
"Are you not listening to a thing I say!?"
"I drift in and out."
LOLOL
That was the funniest line in this scene.
She was honest . Give her props for that 👏
The shrink and Russell the pharmacist were gold.
"What are you, a cop?"
Don’t forget Charlie’s accountant
And the waiter at the restaurant with Charlie & Lydia.
Waiter
Russel pharmacy
Shrink
Accountant
Doctor - when charlie went to get a vasectomy
@@arjungupta4288 those are the best, the worst was the pizza guy.
@samlazarides5602 I don't remember the accountant, where did he appear?
The scenes with Charlie and Jane were pure gold
They were so meant to each other 😂
It is like they are not even acting......just being themselves
these scenes are "gold, uranium, assassin nobility. better than the garbage other people are spitting. look at me, winning."
those scenes were the best seriously
best thing about the whole series, HILARIOUS.
Jane Lynch was a killer on this series. By far one of the best supporting characters in Two and a Half Men.
Agreed, even though the entire recurring cast was absolutely perfect.
Jane Lynch , Herb Melnick and Bobby , the waiter at his favorite restaurant.
Those 3 are my favorite supporting chars.
@@bluesbr0ther588 what about the pharmacist, Bert, i think.
@kopano gatsha
Yea he was very funny too.
His name is Russell.
💯
Whoever cast Jane as the psychologist deserves an award. This is comedy gold!
What? You mean she isn't Ellen DeGeneres?
carultch no, she isn't. and good she isn't
Whoever cast the whole show pre Ashton Kutcher deserves an award
@@carultch 😁😁😁😁😁
You mean Ellen right?
these scenes with Jane Lynch are among the very best on the entire series. These two have great chemistry.
Loved it with Ashton too, he hugs her and she wonders if she's really guy lol
which is ironic considering she's gay in real life
not
I was just here to write the exact same thing, thank you!
@@blancarosales3400 there is nothing ironic about that
"She know I love her. The whole balance of power is completely out of wack."
He's right you know.
What can you do Charlie?
Once you're out of whack it's very hard to get more.
Red pill...
@@taekwondotime Amen brother. What happened with the girl
She was excellent as Charlie's shrink. They gave her some of the best lines and had the best delivery in the whole show.
Can we talk about idk..... Best Tips
True, and that is saying a lot! Casting nailed every character.
“This process really isn’t about me guessing” 😂😂😂😂🤣
She’s actually a pretty good therapist for Charlie, good sense of humor that matches Charlie’s and even better, brutally honest, one of the best things you need in psychology.
She was the worst thing to happen to Charlie, Chelsea left him and he went on a downward spiral since he started listening to her
a la Charlie, we didn't come here for reality.....
It's hard to believe that this lady's not a shrink in real life. And these conversations are comedy gold. The chemistry between these two is award winning on its own.
this show has been my bed time background voice for 10+ years... pure gold
this is genius writing and acting to PERFECTION!!!
The Shrink episodes were among the best of the series, never failed to get a laugh out of me.
what's 'wow?' "...kinda like 'huh?' but with a 'whaa' and an 'oww'..." - pure gold writing!!
I can't get enough of Charlie vs the Shrink,, Jane was great casting her !!!
The shrink was my favorite of a lot of great recurring characters on 2 1/2 Men. Her delivery of those sarcastic little one-liners is perfect.
If only therapists were like this, I'd pay one.
So sad. This WAS one of the best shows..
yes... it WAS
The BEST
Really really sad... Look how they massacred my boy (the seasons with kutcher)
She was the perfect therapist for Charlie she had a sense of humour
Best part was "You know, I can get the drugs without you. I got a nephew is in junior high."
Do what you gonna do 😁😁😁
Now let's get back to the mom-shaped donut of yours.
the best 4 minutes in sitcom history EVER!!!!!
"Wow? What's wow?"
"Kinda like huh but with a wuh and an ow,"
LOL. That's comedy gold.
These two characters - her and Berta, I can't just get enough of them.
This process isn't about me guessing ...Jane is gold lol
Ya that line😂😂😂
The Shrink and the Pharmacist scenes are comedy gold.
I drift in and out"
charlie and jane makes a stunning combination...their sessions are always greattt.... miss the show!!
This sitcom is gold. Excellent actors.
Nothing Will ever get close
Jane was awesome in this part, she didn't get a lot of screen time throughout the series but whenever she was on - it was comedy gold!
This is one of the best exchanges in sitcom history
This is some amazing writing and Acting.. Pure gold.
I'm sure at least one of the writers had extensive experience with a shrink. The dialog between her and Charlie is superb. Maybe the best on the show.
Love this show and all these scenes. As a therapist myself, similar to Lynch in style 😂, these were pretty damn well written.
"my father sat very quietly while my mother sucked the life outta him" XDDD KILLS ME EVERY TIME!
Is it because it's sexual?
Sadly that's what my parents marriage was like, but of course when I'm young it was hard to see that. My dad would go to work, and whatever my dad did it was never good enough for mom. Nothing was good enough for mom.
Scott Meckley+ funny thing is my parents marriage it the same too my dad was discipliarian but was such a simp while my mom emasuclate the hell out of him I had to learn about the true nature of women on my own
And that's marriage in a nutshell
One of the best exchanges in the entire show.
Charlie's therapy sessions were always my favs
I LOVE Jane as his shrink! She is TOO FUNNY! They could not have cast a better actress to play this role. She holds her own with Sheen! Together, they are a Riot of Laugh's!!! I love these scene's!
@Tuudur Reikop ;
Practice what you preach.
Get a life, Troll.
Jane Lynch is awesome in every roll she plays! This sitcom is always loaded with amazing starring and guest starring actors/actresses
roc muzic I agree. 😮
This is one of the best scenes from all aspects
"The fact that you chose that particular imagery is alil disturbing" I lost it at that part 😂😂😂😅
You know what this show has taught me?
There is not a single person on this planet that DOESN’T have issues.
You got that out of this show. 🤦♂️
This show had a great supporting cast..... Jane was hilarious
"You know I can get the drugs without you, I have a nephew in jr high" and he sits back 😂
The entire scene was taken in one shot...wow !
"Oh noow you're guessing?? A minute ago it was 'that's not how the process works!'..."
"A minute ago it didn't!"
LOL
It didn't*
If the entire show were half scripted, half improvisation between Charlie and his shrink, it's basically all you'd need. They could be the only two characters and it would typify anything that goes on in Charlie's life. Brilliant acting, delivery and dialogue.
"I can get the drugs without you. I got a nephew in junior high". Talkabout irony!
Jane Lynch fantastic actress in these scenes. Great comic timing and great script written for her and Charlie.
"Sorry I must have been drunk."
"It's you late for excuses."
Love how Charlie thinks that's an excuse for s therapist.
Class writing and even classier performances.
God I love Jane Lynch’s sarcasm. Manages to slip past Charlie every time.
These are the best 4 minutes of the show!
These are the very best scenes hands down Jane Lynch and Charlie therapy sessions are the bomb
Jane Lynch was so fantastic in this role. Too funny!!!!
Jane kills me!
can't get enough of her!
Yeah she is a murderer 😂😂
This show was soooo good 💕💕💖💖💕 Charlie was a precious diamond ✨
Jane Lynch is brilliant and this proves it.
I swear, I would love a counselor like her!
I think more people would go to therapy if they did have one like her.
@@jjohnsengraciesmom She's also sexy!!
There are plenty of medications that would have turned me into a happy little potatoe.

Jane Lynch is one of the best comedic character actors ever.
She was awesome in 40 year old virgin
omg jane lynch is hillarious in this scene, she doesn't to do anything silly or any facial expressions. The way she said "oop my bad"
I love her definition of "wow" 😂😂😂
Man I miss this show ❤
Jane's lines are so perfect and perfectly like her that I wouldn't be surprised if she wrote or ad libbed most of them, possibly after a helpful script "reading".
No one can replace Charlie.

The Therapist, Pharmacist and the Waiter were all the same people...and I'm here for that.
"are you not listening to a think i say?"

The only woman Charlie listen to.
The only scene in the entire history of television that doesn't even need a laugh track
I just love when he visits Jane
shes so damn funny! all that talk with a straight face.priceless!
This character was awesome
SO UNBELIEVABLY, INCREDIBLY AWESOME SHRINK. SO COOL 😎 😍 👌 AND FUNNY.

Ashton kutcher is Micheal from thats the 70 show
