I feel like I wasted my life on believing that people would be sympathetic to my troubles only to find out that no one really cares, because they all have troubles of their own I got scared of my inner voice and it is dying to come out.

Berta was a beyond AWESOME actress, Conchata's timing a whit was that special additive that made this series the success it has become! Berta is iconic and she is truly missed!

And I even wrote a movie script that did have her playing five parts as five sisters, one of which had a lazy, layabout son in his forties who loses his menial job and wreaks havoc on his family!!
Or Possum Pearl: The Movie even. With a spin-off LP of songs that would befit her vocals. She even sang in the movie script I wrote. Because as a set of five sisters she’d have sung The Statler Brothers’ Flowers On The Wall!
