Job Well Done Captain. You delivered many people safely to their destinations …Fair winds and Calm Skies ✈️ and many blessing to you in your retirement!
Always bitter sweet to close such an extended chapter in Life. But in doing so, many new adventures await. There's always flightsim as well if you need to get back into the nostalgic feeling. Worked out the math and he spent 833 days in the air. That's crazy.
Not sure about elsewhere however in the USA for 14 CFR part 121 (scheduled air carrier) 65 is the mandatory retirement age however for 14 CFR part 135 (corporate/on demand charter) doesn’t have any hard requirements for retirement. As long as the pilot is able to renew their medical.
@@SuperRaptor4 Good Morning. Thank you for sharing. I thought I reading so.e article talking about pilots still flying after 65 age. Short of owning out right your aircraft, that many commercial Captains would maybe fly charter. Coming from a 777 or 767 to say for example a Gulfstream is not bad!☺☺ Netjets or Flexjet company. Smoothing out the retirement having the passion of Aviation I our hearts.
