Eackles was built like a fullback. He wasn't afraid to take it to the basket and draw contact. His ceiling - he was a poor man's Microwave (Vinnie Johnson).
I just got my HEAT 21 EACKLES jersey. I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. In 1993-94, (one of the BEST years of my life) during the regular season when the Sonics were just cruising, and we thought we were going to win the championship, there was talk about the Sonics trying to add a player to our bench. I told my friends BJ and Anthony, "There is a guy, who played 3 seasons, and has averaged double figures in scoring every season." BJ said, "Tell us his first name." I said, "Ledell," and both BJ and Anthony basically gave a "oh no, no way" response. Eackles could score! Scoring; AA. Shooting: B. Ball-Handling: B-. Passing: B. Defense: D. Defensive Rebounding: D. Overall: B-.
@@grawakendream8980 ......and yet theres hardly any videos about him, has never been brought up in NBA discussions when talking about other players and as far as I know he didnt set any records. Go ahead and tell me how the exceptions make the general rule.
Ha, I may have graded on a curve here. "The business" for Ladell may be 28 & 7. For someone like Michael Jordan, it may be 51 & 11, which he just happened to drop the same game. (MJ's run): ruclips.net/video/xU2NS93LT6s/видео.html&ab_channel=RyanVanDusen

🤣 if 28 pts and 7rebs is "the business" then everyone in NBA history got the business at one time or another.
