Never tell a recruitment agency if you've been interviewing elsewhere, they'll contact that company and offer their own candidates in competition with you. When they want references up front, they're selling you a fake job to get hold of contact details for your previous manager. Then lets talk about ATS, the thing that screens out suitable candidates just because they don't have a degree in any random subject. Best thing to do, find employers and apply directly, i've 100% success rate applying direct, and less than 20% going via agencies for engineering jobs.
@@kadzmoney I've got years of experience dealing with all this sh*t, most recruiters have zero moral standards. I'm an engineer with 20+ years experience, everyone says there's a skills shortage, 99% of jobs via agencies I never get anywhere at all, even if i'm a purple squirrel, yet I get directly contacted by employers trying to recruit me for jobs that are just too far away........ The numbers don't add up.
I am getting ghosted by them a lot. Are these worth using if you need help finding work and are not at the level of being headhunted in the first place? I find they say things like "Want to find a job that suits you?" and then offer nothing beyond cleaning or one time jobs moving things. It bothers me that I will spend two hours going through their process just to receive an email of nearby jobs I could have googled myself and then be expected to give a cut of my pay.
I just started my company and am confused about what to charge clients for agency staff. My perm roles have a flat fee of 10%. Hope to hear from you :)
How do you make the first contact with the company and with whom, what do you say, what are standard policies to have, what sort of things do you agree on.
Hi, thank you very much for this informative video. I am a fashion filmmaker from Germany and currently looking for jobs in London that is tier 2 sponsored. I am overwhelmed with where to turn and what jobs to apply to. there are so many jobs and it is hard to find the perfect match for my qualities and interests. Would you have any advice on what I should do? And is signing up with a recruitment agency for a job seeker free or will I have to pay? Kind regards.
When do you ask someone on minimum wage to start their own limited company in order to be paid as that is very popular among recruitment agencies in London these days.
Hi Kadz, I'm thinking of setting up a temp recruitment agency and use an umbrella company. Have you ever had trouble getting payment from the employer in time to pay the temps? This is my main concern.
Recruitment agency's move dodgy... Iv Googled the last three agencies 3rd parties who pay me Addresses I was shocked to find that one was a mud hut in the middle of Africa, one was in Ireland in a residential street and one was a residential house down the south of England.... Pure staff and Pertemps
@kadzmoney Hi, I am trying to move in to UK staffing/Recruitment field could you please help me to learn about the process , please. Do you have any video or PPT or any document about UK staffing process?
So all we do is contact the client and if they're interested we just get them to sign a contract and then we start sewrching for candidates? It sounds to smooth to be true. I must be missing something in that process
This is my issue. If you are not getting job offers why would you need them? If they can't find work for you they will just screen you out then forget about you. So who goes?
Bro I am sorry but I’m being blunt how can I contact you as I have few questions about me wanting to open an agency so need few questions answered if possible
For a person who wants the job (it s jobless) at the question places by recruiter: what are salary expectations what is a good answer from candidates part - to not sell himself short but still be in good salary terms? From your opinion...
Apply directly to a company for work and only use an agency as a last resort. its high time these "agencies" are abolished, theyre costing the average minimum wage employee £500 per month £6000 per year. All so your man Kadz "money" here can pick their kids up from school in their aston martin. Thats YOUR money their driving to school in.
And the most important thing agency's don't pay you overtime even if you do aspecialy if someone's work for them less than 12 weeks I lost 10h of my work because I thought they gonna pay that overtimes
Hello as a job seeker am i supposed to pay a recruitment company money during the recruitment process?? What do you say about those recruitment company which talk about putting your resume on top after you make a payment for a month or 3 months or even 6 months??
How does temporary recruitment work ? Example a business needs 10 workers on £12 per hour for a 3 month assignment. How does the agency take a fee for that?? Thanks in advance, love your videos
Worker is paid directly by the agency rather than being employed by the business seeking services. Agency pays candidate £12 per hour - Charges the business an enhanced price to include NI contributions, Sick pay etc along with their margin.
Great video! Thanks for giving insight of full journey of recruitment consultant in agency. Can you confirm what percentage of commission a recruiter in agency gets for a contract and perm hire?
