Love everything you’ve made, they are all fabulous. Especially love the caddy, I’m going to have a go at this, I did t have a big enough piece of Tula to cut it out so I’m waiting for a delivery 😂. You need another caddy for your Christmas crochet, you’re bound to go down a rabbit hole with festive projects 😂😂
Full of admiration of all you get done and the number of brilliant successes you have. Just scrolling on Etsy and saw ‘Floyd the Flamingo quilt pattern’ and immediately thought of you. Sorry - Not that you need further temptations. I do look but haven’t quite leapt on the quilting wagon yet. puffins would be my weakness.

Hi Rachael, great vlog as always. I can tell you exactly where ALDIs flat quarters have gone to. They have been in our Aldi here in Western Australia for a couple of weeks. Believe it or not I did think of you when I saw them. I’ve been looking for your email address so I could send you some. Most of them had Disney characters that I thought your boys would like. Oh my goodness! You've been busy! A pumpkin table runner! Fabulous. The maker's caddy could be used for so many things and is incredibly practical and well planned. And the fabrics you used go together perfectly. Jeans! They're grrrrreat! So nice to add that to your skill set. I also love decorating for the holidays. First is Halloween, and then I look forward to Thanksgiving--after that it's downhill to Christmas! I actually start listening to Christmas music in October. (Don't tell anyone.)
Just one more thing... you are such an overachiever! How you got all that sewing and quilting done with two young boys, a husband, and a full-time job outside the home is a mystery. Isn't it lovely to spend time making things you love that will be worn or enjoyed by the entire family? When your boys grow up, they will fondly remember all the pumpkin and Christmas decorations, the fact that you made their Halloween costumes, AND the costumes were cool! Your pumpkin table runner is all about making memories.

Fabulous jeans-and thank for for this challenge as it gave me the nudge to make my first pair-Megan Nielsen Dawn jeans. They have turned out so well and I’m a bit obsessed with jeans making now too….. Plus-Aldi fat quarters-what’s going on there? Where are they? 😅

I'm loving your jeans journey! I'm scared of stretch denim... I'm scared of how to adjust the pattern for different strech percentages so I'm curious to hear how you go with this stretchier fabric. I'm thinking I'll start with the Dawn jeans to get around that and luckily I like the feel of rigid denim jeans. Now off to see Karen Marie's video 😍 thanks!
Thanks so much! I’m still very much learning! I made a toile in the fabric I wanted to use so that helped seeing what the stretch is like. On my new ones I’m actually going to size down 2 sizes.. not sure if that’s the right or wrong thing to do? I have the seam allowance to play with though 🤞🏻🤞🏻 it’s all trial and error unfortunately ’ best of luck with your dawn jeans!! Thanks so much for watching

Loved the dinosaur tablet cover, my daughter wanted a laptop bag I was like ooh what colour thinking lovely bright floral type, no it had to be professional so ended up navy and white stripe with a bright interior 😂.I have also bought Adams caddy pattern so that will be on the list in the next few weeks. xx

Thanks so much! I love that caddy! So it took a little longer initially as I had to piece fat quarters together to get the length.width I needed. All in though I’d say about 5 hours? It’s a total labour of love though and I’m so happy with the result

Lovely makes as always Rachael. I’d love to know how you use your cricut machine to embellish your makes. I have a very old cricut and am considering a newer one which would do what you do. 😊
Thanks Alison! So I have a cricut joy. The little teeny one and I use it an awful lot to make cards and then for clothes I use the iron on sheets and print those and then iron them to garments! It’s really good fun! I use it a lot for my boys clothes too. I’ll mention it in my next Friday sews if that would help!
