I've recently discovered this pattern company too. As you say, they have some excellent patterns. I bought the Xoe and a couple of other very different looking sweatshirts. They also have some good free patterns. Not tried any yet, so thanks for your helpful hints. Loved your Xoes.

Thank you so much for the wonderful video. I love watching your videos and getting more ideas to sew for boys. I have five granddaughters and it is easy to find ideas for them but I also have a grandson. I'm always looking for sewing ideas for him since he really likes wearing grandma makes. He would love a dinosaur sweatshirt.

Very cute! Rachael, I’m taller like you and wondering about the pattern company’s name that contains the word Petite. Are they drafted for petites? I couldn’t find anything for what height they draft for. Did you find they run short?

Oh those jumpers are just wonderful Rachael. I think it's fabulous that you and the boys have matching jumpers but there's one version missing?! Mr French Seams? 😂. It does look a great pattern but yes, like you, I would have pressed those seams down (which is normal) and top stitched on the plain fabric. I am very tempted to make one now ❤.

This brilliant. I tried it and it works, however, on the second step, I went right shoulder to left shoulder so I didn’t have the whole garment in the throat of my machine and that worked too! The first time I watched this I wondered, but didn’t say anything until I tried it because I wasn’t sure. Thanks for the tutorial.

I love your outfit! 😃The glittery “butterfly top” with your Ash jeans is a perfect relaxed holiday look 💕 Side Note; I was thinking you might want to try the sequins & vinyl craft on a bag. Perhaps use your Cricket to place an image of a turtle (or other favorite animal) then place the vinyl over the turtle shell then insert green sequins to add a bit of sparkle to the shell. Your graph is very impressive (who knew you’re a stat geek❣️), does it influence your sewing in any way- just curious. Anyway, looking forward towards all your 2025 vlogs 💕

When you limited amounts of time available to sew, it is good to be organized like that 👍 I love to plan, as many teachers do, but I don’t track things as well as that… you are onto something!! I a a Southbank girl…I make a new one every year. Cosiest dress! I made last year’s out of the cable fabric you can get…and it is lovely to wear. Not much stretch in that cable fabric, but it works…just made sure I could pop it over my head! Yes, omit the pockets. On two of my versions, the neck band is a bit floppy bc I used a lighter sweatshirt fabric. For a nice casual look, I did one with ribbing at the sleeves and bottom cuff. Have fun! I also thank you for a wonderful lead on a gift for my grandkids! That game looks fantastic! It is now on my Amazon wish list. This Christmas, my grand kids had fun playing Kluster with my husband…a simple game with magnetic stones. Lots of laughs! And you mentioned your husband plays golf. You probably seen the card game Play Nine. My hubby and I like to play that one together. The collaboration looks like fun! I make many of the Little Lizard King patterns for girls’ dresses, but I’ve never tried the Styla patterns. The LLK ones have been just fine…I only find their instructions over detailed. I like to print them out and theirs are often 30 pages!! But I’ve enjoyed all the projects I’ve sewed from them 👍 Thank you again for the time you take to share all your sewing ideas..I’m looking forward to your year of sewing as much as mine!! ☺️

Happy New Year Rachael and great to have you back! So pleased you all had a healthy Christmas and I've already been onto Amazon and bought that game for my Grandsons, we are exhausted from Dobble so needed to find something new 😂. I have that iron and isn't it amazing. I bought it when I had my elbow surgery this Summer as I couldn't lift the normal iron (great excuse eh?! 😂). That collab jumper looks so cosy and you need that for this weekend! Great plans as always and looking forward to another year of your makes and videos. ❤

Really fast and fun make. Looking forward to seeing your collaboration sweatshirt. It looks very cozy. We may get a little snow here in East Tennessee on Monday, I could probably use one of those. I really liked the little bags you made for first aid items but did not have time to make any before Christmas, I found some at a local craft fair and purchased them. My daughter-in-law is a doctor and had hers filled right away. Great idea.
