I own an AMP and it shoots like butter. Personally I like the look of the gun and how slim/lightweight it is. I’m also a big fan of the etha 2/3 though so honestly you can’t go wrong with both guns
I would honestly rather roll with an etha only because it would be more comfortable in my hands. I have to say that the Shocker RSX, XLS, and AMP just feels way too slim for my liking. It's mainly the front grip on them that throws me off because I am not used to foregrips or regulators being so thin.
@@MariusXerxes I love the HK amp. One of my co-workers got one of those and let me play with it and the shape of that foregrip made all of the difference for me.
Im getting back into paintball after 15 years off...I have been researching the best bang for your buck guns and have been debating the etek5, AMP and ETHA3. I first started with the first ever etek and that was amazing for a cheaper gun, especially with the low maintenance, which is why I am debating the etek 5 though even though it is abit older. I did eventualy bump up to a marq7, loved the smooth shooting, hated the maintenance. Yall got any opinions of the etek 5 compared to these? I don't talk to anyone who plays paintball anymore so I have no one to get an opinion from. If anyone wants to add their two cents I would appreciate it
@TuggSpeedman518 only thing I would wonder is parts availability and how much longer they'll be around to purchase. Google etek parts and of they're still widely available maybe it's still a good one to own.

So, i have been debating on really just getting a more new gun that mid-tier, which brings me to a really good deal i think i found recently, amazon got a deal for etha3, 68/4500 hk army tank, and sonic loader for $800….really thinking of jumping on that….as I have been out of the game for 15 years, would yall say thats a solid deal, as I do need all new equipment.

@@bighonchox6698 1st thing is ALWAYS goggle first so your vision is on point. THEN I would say electronic hopper. Then pack. Then the tank. That barrel is money off the break. Practice your shots and start getting those killz ;)
I recently purchased the Freak XL Jr barrel auto cocker barrel for my Etha 3. I also bought a variety of inserts but as long as you match the paintball to bore it shoots great! @BIGHONCHOX
@@RafaelDelgado-xp4gl you should not be bore matching. You should always have a slight overbore for the best consistency. Not all paintballs in a batch will be the same. Some may be .684, and then .687, and then .682. It varies wildly. So you should always have an overbore. Theres also a video that shows that an overbore gives the most consistent grouping.
I own both mechanical and electrical I'm nit taking anything away from Planet Eclipse and the Etha3 and 3M but the SP Shocker ERA and CVO just freaking rock I will say the Etha 3 and 3M are so under rated its not funny they smoke everything else
Just not worth getting a gun that old as your main gun , etha 3 is $500 bucks and by far the best bang for buck in that range . Anything cheaper would say dye czr and it's newer and fully electronic.
It's a ok gun but definitely not better , shocker has OLED screen , full aluminum body , freak XL barrel , more firing mode options and better colors . Etha is the best lower tier gun but most definitely not as good as shocker.

Such as not having a screen to see your modes/eyes. I don’t even think you mention the manufacturers. It’s a good attempt at being helpful, but a little more effort/planning goes a long ways w/ this type of content. ✌️

Incredible that midlevel marker is on par with entry level markers.
Let's be real though. SP pretty much copied the gammacore with the Amp. So it should shoot similarly.

If Etha had a screen mod I would run Etha 100 percent. But I switch between rec, speedball, and xball rules so a screen is needed
Tons of amps are going for $600 used these days. I've been debating on either a new Etha3 or a lightly-used amp.
New Etha 3... Would be a GREAT backup marker to have in your bag when you bump up. IF YOU NEED IT ;)

I have the GOG Shocker AMP CVO and the Planet Eclipse Etha 3 and I love both markers they are the best

I love the hk army orbit barrel. I got it with all the inserts it looks badass. I recommend that barrel kit but get the autococker set

Can still go with an older Dye Matrix for super cheap. People make new boards for them for cheap aswell. So many parts out there for them
