Bullshit. This isn’t even close to the amp way softer shot, excellent paint handling, you don’t got to like SP but some of us do and for the money this is probably the best atm.
@@djkrucial8514 I think you misconstrued what I said. I"m not talking about shot feel, I'm talking about its ability to handle the higher tiers of fragile paint. The Amp had terrible paint handling at launch, enough to where SP themselves pushed out a bandaid fix in larger orings to increase drag. Fundamentally the Amp core's first stage is so fast that the marker has trouble handling really fragile paint. Why do you think that most every Amp out there has any of the SSC, Adrenaline, Boss, or TechT bolt in their guns? This is a known issue from back to the Luxe X. SP stole the GP core design and had troubles adapting it on their past 3 versions. I owned an Amp since pre-order. My latest was a Seattle Thunder Amp. Had a nice feeling shot, but you need to be honest about the markers design and it's short comings. The ERA looks to be better in every way internally, which means it can now probably shoot the same paint a Gtek 1 can now.
I just bought a Shocker ERA and I'm not slamming other companies. I'm in love with this marker it's rocks. It has a smoother shot, the triger is butter, and the ergonomics are amazing I love the way it feels in my hands. There is also no lift on the shot with the ERA. You guys did a great job on this marker. Plus the price is just amazing.
@DREKOWICK69 have a amp and absolutely love it! Have shot all kinds of paint and have over 50k shots and have probly broke 3/5 balls...if u take care of your markers they will all run great...
thinking if I was playing more I would try and upgrade to the era but I am just not playing that much these days. probably keeping the amp for a long while
The Amp just looks better. They really dropped the ball in the looks department in my opinion. Not saying it's not a good shooter but just looks wise they didn't really try is all.
Now make parts for this and the older gun so we can keep them going long term i cant find any parts for old egos now…… and give me the option to buy cherry blossom…… or octane orange….
The twist and pull is absolutely terrible. I just ordered my amp and it shoots good but the asa knob is pointless and hard to turn when your hands are sweaty (just upgraded to the lever). The turn to unlock the bolt turns WAY too easy and has turned during playing points which let gas come out/confused me for a sec. The front grip also comes down/moves too easily during play (i added some infamous tape before putting the front grip back on so it can grip tighter). I shouldve just gotten the Dsr+ and regret buying this marker lol
In 08 the Luxe was being made by Smart Parts, from 09 & on a new company emerged from the leftovers at Smart Parts called Dlx. In 2011 Dlx was integrated into Gog paintball and when the shocker first returned it was under Gog, but ended up being called Shocker Paintball. Both the Luxe & the Shocker are designed and produced under the parent company Gog. Not sure about the people who own that though.
I like how they just said we're going to screw everyone who owns an amp and make them buy a new ERA and not be able to sell their previous marker because everyone knows it's a lemon. lol
The mill job on the Era was a massive letdown, there is a reason Project, HK, twister , adrenaline model guns sell out quick , people want nice mill jobs . Tooless eyes and flip on/off ASA should of been a no brainer.
@@TheMindUnlocked so for the maybe 20% of the market that plays pro or spends hundreds of dollars more for custom mill jobs ? I mean basic marketing common sense would be to play to your biggest market and that's the people who go play rec ball and lower end local tournaments, they don't send their guns out to get milled, they would just buy a HK one or you name it special model . They dropped the ball .

No, the new air tube system blocks it from connecting. They will be making a new mech frame for it

I still prefer the shot characteristic of my adrenaline shocker over my adrenaline luxe as well. But man the mech frame swap is so much nicer

They stated they left it like this for teams and personalization for owners to o custom mills..
